Namie Amuro new album 「Queen of Hip-Pop」 will be released on 13th July.

It will include 12 songs: Her last singles WANT ME, WANT ME, ALARM, ALL FOR YOU and GIRL TALK plus new songs.

YES! I'm so excited about this album. I'm definitely buying it. I think she have been doing very well this year and deserved to release a quality album, which i'm sure it'll be.

I hope the SPEED STAR got left out by mistake, I love that song. I'll be getting the CD+DVD if there is one. It would make sense to release it too, they could get more money from fans.

Yes, I also remember hearing the title before.

I searched the forums for the old post about the rumored album, and I found the thread.

It's funny to see 'Want Me, Want Me' on there, because (I think) this was posted before that single was announced.

I like "the SPEED STAR" a lot, but I'm not crazy about Namie.

I think the title's a little much.

Nope there isn't a DVD version, I am REALLY excited for this release! July is really far but it'll be worth the wait. I HOPE the SPEED STAR isn't on there because I bought the CD+DVD version and it'll be nice to just have the song on the single making it worthy or replay. However I think it'll be on the CD because it was a double A-side. I was surprised there isn't a DVD though...

Namie sure loves her caps... anyways that leaves room for 6 new songs which is a decent amount. I hope this album lives up to it's hype and is better than 'STYLE' which was excellent.

i wouldn't be so happy if namie is doing a lots of pure hip-hop stuffs like Indy lady in her next album...

GIRL TALK, ALARM, WANT ME WANT ME are considered POP songs but with Hip-Hop elements or influcences added.... hence the new term : Hip-Pop

only songs i like was Alarm and girl talk out of all the released songs..
guess i'll have to let the others grow on me

This is very exciting news! I've been waiting for a Namie release for a long time now. Now to only wait for the tracklist and cover art.

i'll definitely be looking forward to this album! i've really been into all of her new songs, especially the speed star and want me want me. i hope theres a lot of material like that on the album.

My friend gave me this supposed list? Don't quote me on it though!! Wo Wa sounds a little fishy. Rumor was that "Uｐｓ＆Ｄｏｗｎｓ　　ｄｕｅｔ　ｗｉｔｈ　Ｎａｏ’ＹＭＴ" may be written by namie.

But I have no idea. RUMOR!

'No' and 'Wo Wa' are possibly 2 of the worst song names. I'm not going to say this is fake because it's going to come around and bite me in the butt.

'Ups & Downs duet with Nao'YMT' sounds interesting. I'm guessing it's the artist Nao from avex? Who knows! Anyways *am excited*

do you think she'll realize it's supposed to be "hip hop" at the last minute and change it? or did she do it on purpose. i think we heard a preview of "queen of hip hop/pop" before nad it sounded nice.

I love Girl Talk! I don't think I can buy the album cuz I'll be outta money for a looooong while :(

I think Girl Talk and the Speed Star were just as good really depends on what mood I'm in. If I want a soft dancey song I'll listen to Girl Talk or if I'm in the mood for some hard, sexxeh, beats the Speed Star is great. But it was a double a-side single so shouldn't the two of them be included just like ayumi's INSPIRE/GAME were included on MY STORY. But bleh, I don't mind. I ordered the Girl Talk single anyways so I still get the speed star wether it's on the album or not. I pre-ordered Queen of Hip Hop yesterday, I hope there's some first press extras. >_<

STYLE's songs were amazing .. all of them could have been singles.

As much I dislike Urban pop, I kind of agree with you... that album was great.

I'm thinking of buying the album because I do like a lot of the songs on it (but I personally can't stand "Want Me, Want Me" because the beat overpowers the vocals way too much)
