On a side note ORANGE RANGE has sold an WHOPPING 223,534 in it's first week. That is ridiculous... 'Love Parade' isn't nearly as good as any of their past singles... especially 'Hana'. This is definitely the Era of ORANGE RANGE and Def Tech. Let's hope this single can still make it in the Top 10 best sellers this year. I'm guessing either 'Love Parade' or 'Sakura' will be #1 this year... or possibly ORANGE RANGE's upcoming single 'Onegai! Senorita".

Let's hope STEP you/is this LOVE? continues to sell consistently!

You forgot the fact that OR's last single Asterisk's first week sales is around 320,000 copies.. (I think this single is better than Love Parade tho... maybe because I like BLEACH the anime as well...)

Anyhoo, hopefully STEP you can reach 350,000 eventually :D

If STEP you beats INSPIRE in sales, like it seems it has a good chance of doing, I'll be very happy.

Hip Hop is hot and matured greatly in Japan so goes the midway hip hop kinda ORANGE RANGE

'Sakura' by Ketsumeishi is an amazing song, and deserves to be the number 1 song this year, so far. Definitely the mid-year's best... Anyway, I was expecting Ayu to sell alot less with this release.

'Sakura' IS DEFINITELY an amazing song, I love LOVE LOVE THE PV! I won't be disappointed if this is the #1 song cause it does deserve it but ORANGE RANGE doesn't. Their seriously running out of ideas IMO, 'Onegai! Senorita' sounds like such a desperate attempt by OR to make a GOOD hit like 'Shanghai Honey' or 'Locolotion'. This one just seems like a crappy copy of those two songs, and if you compare it to 'Love Parade', 'Love Parade' is miles better. Anyways Ayu is off the charts for today since there were a lot of new releases this week.

On and off-topic note, CONGRATS TO w-inds. for hitting #1 with their 4th album 'ageha'. I got my copy yesterday :yes

Well I also can't understand the big fuss around ORANGE RANGe, cause honestly, the vocals are BAD. However, I have to kinda disagree with what was said and say that Love Parade was actually their very FIRST decent song. The vocals don't sound stupid like what they did to songs like Hana (still can't understand how that song become a mega hit) and actually almost all of their songs. In Love parade, everything sounds much serious and less "parodius" :laugh

Hana is GREAT song. Beautiful lyrics, and perfect for karaoke. I believe it's been the most sung song in karaoke in Japan ever since its release last year, according to Oricon that is. It's the new 'Sekai ni hitotsu dake no hana'. :yes

edit: oops, sorry for going off topic, but congrats to Ayu on the sales. It's good she can still break 300,000 cuz I honestly didn't think she could with this single.
