Thanks for the info..The sales don't seem very far off from STEP you's first week, but there still is more time to promote I guess. I'm going to be shocked if this single doesn't at least sell over 350,000. :/

it'll be interesting to see what happens. i don't think she will make a comeback per se, but it'll be interesting to see how her sales look from here on out.

Well of course everyone would want to see Ayu as a winner rather than a cm monster. But just think about it, if she stayed as 'old ayu', people are gonna be bored of her never changing style which is going to lead to fans leaving as well. I'm sure she's trying to prove that even though she changed, she can still make herself a best japanese artist. I think we should actually trust ayu instead of complaining about it...
I think the 'fairyland' single is great. I knew ayu still had it once the 'STEP you' single came out. :D

nooo...i think that is good. if she stayed the same old ayu, that would grow old and boring. she always reinvents herself and changes...that is what keeps and artist going on and on for years to come. :yes

change is good in all different ways. it may not appear now, but it would in the future.

It is inevitable to not lose fans. It is literally impossible no matter what she did. Fads come and go and Ayu is without a doubt a fad and icon so she'll lose fans regardless.

Her music is still beautiful and full of harmony, I think it's way better now than it was before.

I'm sure those 1st week sales are accurate. "fairyland" has potential to be a summer hit in Japan and it should sale at least last year's INSPIRE sales. aiko's sales are very accurate too though 103 000 seems a little too much :P Wait & See..

i think this'll be the start of her comeback... fairyland with alterna will get the ball rolling for her... the two are radically different, and so they at least will get a lot of attention, and with HEAVEN on the way, her great ballad, there's probably nothing stopping her this year... I wouldn't be surprised if she won the Japan Record Award again... she won that 3 years in a row, can she surpass that?

and of course, Ayu hasn't lost her popularity yet!! I guess people still likes her a lot!

I think we should have known that and we shouldn't doubt that she won't be on the top spot with her new single and with heaven supposedly coming out in sept. she might release another ballad and I know the lyrics for both songs will put her in the number 1 spot once again as always.
