Oh cool, Ayu in Newtype. Unfortunetly, I heard this magazine is quite expensive to buy even in the USA. :( However, its an excellent magazine if you are into anime. :thumbsup

Yeah it costs 10 dollars an issue. 80 dollars for a full year subscription. Every issue comes with a free dvd, poster, and post cards though, and the magazine is pretty big, so it's not really an unreasonable price.

It's mostly anime, but they have other stuff as well. Still, mostly anime. My friend had been getting Newtype Japanese for awhile, so I was kinda hyped when it came to the US.

Cool info. Too bad there are no Ayu pics! I've seen this mag in stores lately, but I thought it was in Japanese since I think they leave some of the Japanese on the cover.

It is pretty expensive but it comes with a DVD usually and postcards and at least 2 posters usually. It's a very good mag!

Figures GameStop would stop selling the magazine in my area...

I got mine at Suncoast, and they also sell them at Sam Goody.

A friend of mine recently told me she bought a French magazine where Ayu is featured.
I should receive it soon and post some pics if any of you is interested.

I bought the December issue and I have to admit, I was completely blown away by it. The magasine is awesome, plus the free Chance Pop Session episode was really cool :D
I gotta go find this issue now. :D

and now, every new issue comes with a dvd~~~
with previews of some new upcoming anime~~~

Is the magazine already on magazines racks now in the USA coz I went to several bookstores this weekend and couldn't find it at all. If so, I'll keep looking until I find it.

Yes it is available for sale in the US.. hence me having it.

I got mine at Suncoast, they are also availble at Sam Goody I believe as well as regional stores, such as Wizzy Wig in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Although, it may be a good idea to call ahead to stores to see if they carry it before making a trip out.

Huh.. two magazines? Can anyone let me know which is the second English magazine she's been in?

I'm going into my local comic shop on saturday to pick up the latest issue of Animerica, (I have to get the magazine on order every month :( ) and so while i'm there, hey should have the latest issue of Newtype USA. If they have then that's gonna be an extra £7.50. Man, my parents are gonna kill me when they get back from London on Sunday night.

nah... the most expensive magazine i bought was a mag with ayu inside and it cost $27....

Here in america $10 per issue. I just saw it today!!!!!! My friend got it and omg I am begging my mom to buy it!!!!!! I also need it to look how the anime artists drew it so I can get better.

She was in Electronic Gaming Monthly - some guy asked if Rebecca Chambers in Resident Evil Zero was modeled after her and then EGM printed a picture of her and stuff.
