BoA, Namie Amuro, Nami Tamaki

Out of those 3, who dances better?

Nami's really good, and so is Namie, but I've never seen BoA dance. Don't like her that much.

My honest answer is Namie. I think Nami and BoA also dance very well (and sometimes use more difficult moves, I think) but Namie just "flows" better. She doesn't look like she's straining to breathe while she dances and her movements are very fluid. Although I think the fact that she has a more "moveable" music genre helps.

Namie > BoA > Nami

Namie Amuro. BoA dances well but she's not a "natural dancer" like Namie. Her dances disappoint me since QUINCY, like Akurei said. Nami is great for her age, I put her on the same level as BoA.

I would have to say Namie

and if Koda Kumi was added she would be number 2 and I would make BoA number 3.

I'd go with Namie, she can sing AND dance almost flawlessly. BoA is okay, every now & then. . . I've never seen much of Nami Tamaki dancing but it doesn't look that great from what I have seen in her PV's.

Namie, of course. There is no doubt that she is one of the greatest dancers of our time. Just watch one of her tours...

Amuro. Of the three, her body build looks the best when dancing too, not to mention she can sing properly without simplifying her dance moves drastically.

Tamaki unfortunately, cannot sing on tune and dance at the same time without a dozen back-up dancers.

So, like Aaron, Amuro > BoA > Tamaki

Amuro, hands down.

And amen to that. One thing that bugs me a lot is how BoA simplifies her choreography big time during live performances/concerts. She actually looks stupid dancing those moves sometimes. :rolleyes

^ Agree 100% w/ what Zer0 just said. And ppl were wondering how she stays in such great shape. Come on, if we all danced our butt off for 10 hours per day, we'd look like that too. :P

agreed ! only time when BoA impresses me with her dancing abilities was when i saw her performance of Girl on top and some other new korean songs during her comeback performance??? HOWEVER.... she NOT singing LIVE !

BoA is better than Nami Tamaki. Lately, BoA's Japanese songs do not showcase her dancing abilities yet if you get to see her recent live performances of Moto and Girls on Top in Korea, her dancing skills is simply amazing. And during the times she sings live, she can still get to dance so well.
I've only seen some PVs of Namie Amuro and from what I saw, she is better than Nami Tamaki. I have to watch more clips from her though since as of now I'm all for BoA.

Namie. There's this thing about her body and style that makes her flow very well with her dancing. I can't exactly explain why but it's a 'unique' thing in her that makes her shine more than the other 2 artists.

Boa is a talented dancer as well, but she disappoints me terribly by lipsynching in almost all her korean tv lives.

As for Nami, I ain't too sure who is she >_< and I know it's abit unfair for me to make my opinion without finding out more about her. But yeah, for now, Namie's my top dancer.

How come Koda Kumi isn't there? Lol, she's a great dancer as well.

Hehe ya, when I first read the title of this topic, I was thinking Amuro, BoA, & Koda Kumi. :P

Namie Amuro, her performance in her last concert impress me a lot (with nunchaku)


But i prefer the Koda Kumi's dancing (more sexy) *-*

after seeing BoA's 'comeback' performance I have to say she's the best out of these. you can't really judge BoA's current level of dancing withouth having seen her dance to 'Girls on Top' or 'Moto'. she lipsynchs while dancing tho , but that's not the point here.

Nami Tamaki is worst out of the three , eventho she's not that bad. but her moves are kinda simple compared to the other two even when she is only focusing on dancing.

I personally think Namie Amuro's singing while dancing is a bit overrated. She has sounded awful several times while singing & dancing at the same time. for example on her korean tour thing. she has had some good sounding performances too tho. but overall I think BoA is better than Namie these days.

I like Koda Kumi a lot too , she would be my top choice with BoA :)

My friend sent me Girls On Top live in Korea. I was pretty impressed by her dancing but yeah she was lipsynching. I know this thread is about dancing. but still, they are singers afterall. I have seen Boa performing Do the Motion live completely including vocals and I think she's pretty good at singing live. So I don't get the lipsynching (especially in korea lives) sometimes okay not to forget some songs are really catchy~

Namie since she does that cool booty shake in Want Me Want Me! Then KK since she always does really good sexy dancing and her moves are really good!

I would say Namie... and then BoA and then Nami.

My thing with BoA... I was very impressed with her dancing this time around, well her Girls on Top perfs. But people say she can sing and dance Girls on Top really well. If you actually watch the performance, whenever she sings, she is doing the simpilier dance moves... but it all flows and looks good. She likes to sing and then stop and then sing and stop, the stop being when the background vocals kick in. While not singing, she shows off her skills extremely well... but when she is singing... the dance is simplified. But eh.. just my opinion on her lives ^^;;;

Namie is a really good dancer, Nami's also good, especially for her age (see the Reason live, wow), BoA's dancing is quite dull, especially lately.

But it's true, Nami Tamaki can't sing and dance at the same time. I don't know if she did it on purpose, but she seemed very out of breath when she said "Tada", and I really hope she squeak/squealed on purpose....I'd like to see her sing without dancing...

Nami can sing and dance at the same time. Her recent lives are bad examples of her singing and dancing. Her first four singles are better examples of how well she can sing and dance at the same time. If you have ever seen Heroine live... she doesn't dance in that song.. nor does she have backup dancers.

amuro is the best. THe way she dances is amazing, and she can sing and dance at the same time too~!

Nami Tamaki.. but that's a personal preference. Realistically, probably Amuro.

Of course it's Namie. BoA fans are always saying she's better without even looking at Namie's live concert tours. Namie blows me away with her performing calibre.
