wow...... i feel so proud for ayu..... even her lyrics are meant for studies reference~ :P :P
first time i herd that a singer's song lyrics are being used as a text reference
wonder wad ayumi will feel if she noes that her lyrics... is used as text reference:roflmao
i think she might feel honoured to see everybody studying her lyrics
I read a news last year that her lyrics was used as the entrance examination of some university about a year ago. If her lyrics are to be on the textbook of Japanese Language or Music in the near future, it's really no surprise to me, as they are so excellent.
That's really cool information! Thanks for the info and translation!

Yet another breaking attempt done by Ayu and other artists..... a toast to them!

Thanks so much guys for the translation and info! I'm really surprised to see that. It's just not something that I've ever seen before, but it's very cool, and it's such a high honor! That is so cool!
Takke, mimika gave a summary and translation of the article. |
That really must mean something special for Ayu, to have her lyrcs used as a teaching aid must really be a high honour. I'm proud of Ayu for what she has accomplished.
So when we listen to Ayu songs now, we're actually in a lesson. LOL :roflmao |
Did Ayu write the lyrics for "A Song for XX" herself? I forget since it was one of her early songs and I'm not sure if she wrote all her own lyrics back then.

Grant, ayu wrote the lyrics to all of her songs. The only exception: LOVE~since1999~ |
Wow! Did she even write Depend on You? That was the opening for Thousand Arms, so I'm just wondering if the company would let her write for the game opening ^^;

I know that she did write the lyrics, but I'm pretty sure she didn't write the music for that one. Anyway, that's pretty commendable. The AYU teaching method! I'd like to learn! |
Clearing things up: Ayu only started to write music with M. Before that, in A Song for XX time they gave Ayu a melody and she had to choose which one suited more with her lyrics. In LOVEppears time they started to pay renamed arrangers and music writers (Well at least that's what I heard). All the lyrics until now were made by Ayu ,even Depend On You! The only song Ayu didn't write the lyrics was LOVE~since1999~....I'm not sure if she wrote the lyrics to the following songs though: NOTHING FROM NOTHING, Paper Doll, Gut-it-pez, LIMIT and A (with m.C.A.T). Anyone knows? And when was the song "A" released? (I'm not talking about the single "A" that had monochrome, trauma, too late and end roll bbut the rap "A" song LOL)
Hey, thats cool stuff there. Too bad that don't use her lyrics to teach us something :)
That's such a cool idea! I always admire it when artists write their own music because I think it gives their songs more of a personal touch.
But what if some artists do not know how to write lyrics??
That's quite something ! I didnt' expect anyone's lyrics would actually be used as a text reference... :) (as in content wise)
... imagine britney's lyrics were used as text reference... "hit me baby one more time..." ... :lol :roflmao just jokin :P |
