what's your reaction if your idol got copied?
recently, there are a lot of 'copycat' threads going around. this is a poll to see the most common reactions among us. it's multi choice, happy choosing.
4 me, i won't mind for 1 or 2 things alike, but more than that can't be just a concidence...as for covering the songs, i'm fine with it as long as the original singer's piece is credit. afterall, it's so hard nowadays to have 100% original idea. just close 1 eye.:yes |

I honestly have no issues with cover songs at all, it's just another artist's interpretation. If it happens to be a good cover, it's a bonus. If not? Who cares.

I don't really care, I don't see the deal on getting mad because someone has a song/video that sounds/looks like your favorite artist's song/video, it certainly doesn't mean they're going to sell less.

for the 'who cares' option, it's under others, since i can't think up of any more options...and missed that... but curently it seems that most of us here r very reasonable, so where do those 'i hate those copycats' people come out from???

who cares, copying is normal,
its like jvc makes a dvd player, then panasonic makes one, then sony, that dont mean everyone copied jvc, theyre just doing what works for the money. |

Overall, I wouldn't care. If it was someone covering a song I like it doesn't interest me, because I'm more interested in the original version, I don't really listen to covers much. If it's some similarity in clothes, music etc. I'm not bothered, most are just similarity and nothing else. I've heard people bash outright copycats, but I just don't get caught up with focusing on someone I don't like, it's just a waste of time and energy that would be better spent on something better.

Copy? hmmph my immediate reaction will be nonchalent...
... but then, when such thing occurs, there might be reaction on the other side. Like them bashing Ayu instead and saying things like "Ayu is the one coping our godly ____" , "Ayu should be honored that ____ is coping her" or whatever... That's when i really get mad. But then, in the end, i don't think i'd do anything still :X |
I don't care but then it all depends on how much they are copying. Its one thing to show up and do the exact same thing but just minor things I wouldnt worry about cause we have all done it before
