Ballads in A BALLADS ~
 

Just got my copy of A BALLADS... Most song in this album seems rearrange to become more BALLADy. What do u think abt the song that had been arranged ? Is it become more 'Ballady' or the oringinal version is nicer ??

For me, the appears 'HAL's progress' isnt that good. I like the original better :no
M 'HAL's progress' isnt that powerful compare to original version too.:no

And I found that DOLLS is soooooo super nice!!! i love the music .. How ayu sing in the song.. sooo nice to listen!!! Its CREA compose it afterall!! :love:love :thud

So did TO BE , Key ~eternal tie version~ sooo touching.. :(

i like Who.. in the A ballads version more.. i don't know why, but it just gives me a more personal touch and feel to it.

mm. i agree M on a ballads wasnt as good as the original one. the starting's too long!

I can't tell the difference of the original version and the remixed version for some songs...like Dearest, TO BE, HANABI, & Dolls....

does she had a "new mix & vocal" (like the ones she did for A BEST) for YOU track??

i think my copy is the new copy as i found a advertist paper inside it which ayu new single <inspire> on it.

i still havent bought RAINBOW yet. so this is the 1st time i heard DOLLS. :P

You know what ? Even my 8 years old love this song very much. She always bugging me open this song fof her. :headache

Oh I hated Dolls in RAINBOW (and A BALLADS since it's the same version...). To me it just totally ruined the album. However A BALLADS is a wonderful compisition. I loved all the remixes especially A Song for XX! I would buy this if only I hadn't need to collect all the original albums first :(

Dolls is creepy....if you're going to make a haunted house, be sure to add this song to its BGM (pun intended, no offense) :p

:yes especially the part at 3:39. the part where the piano kicks in after the dramatic music bridge, before she starts the chorus again. it sends chills down my spine when i listen to it at night, but it's a very good CREA composition i think. the lyrics is beautiful too.

oh yes, i like the seasons on A ballads more too! the opening is much clearer and stronger ( the snare drums!! i love that!)

I think most of the rearranged songs sounds just as good. I especially like "M". THe only one that's really horrible is appears. :irked

i think Dolls was Ayu's worst song in RAINBOW album sorry~ :(

i loved A BALLADS!!! i used to listen to it alot!!

i love her new vocals there but i like the music in the original versions better, they were more powerful

^ agreed, the original music was very much nicer and powerful! But songs like A SONG FOR XX and TO BE are perfect.. ^^

For me, almost all the songs sounds just like the original version. (SEASONS, Dolls, Voyage, Key ~eternal tie.~, TO BE, YOU...).

I prefer A Song for XX and Who... A BALLADS version.

hmm...i loved Dolls....nywayz, i like the orignal ]\/[ better than the H^ls's Progress...sometimes H^al gets a little weir with his mixes....like the End Roll mix on the A single...

I like the two new songs on the album, but otherwise the originals are better. I don't care for A BALLDS too much...except for the peachy colors..:)
