no B&D/Pride on (miss)understood?
 

so B&D and Pride aren't on the (miss)understood tracklist???? NO!!! i was waiting for the album to come out so i wouldn't have to buy the single. i don't have much money! criminy!

Personally, I think they'll be on the album regardless of what the official site says. At least one of them will be.

I'm glad it isn't included. It leaves more room for new songs and a reason for me to uy the single itself lol.

Maybe cause it's such a different genre, that this single is a sort of test run. She (or Avex) probably didn't want something so different to affect any sales. So if B&D is a successful single, then maybe we'll see this genre on albums in the future.

I didn't think there was an official tracklist yet. The only ones I've seen are "rumored" ones.

I bet Pride is going to make it, but B&D will probably end up as the hidden track.

i think it will. it'd be stupid of Avex to even advertise it on the album now in the first place. it'll wait until the single died down, THEN tell them it'll be on it.

Why are some people so conviced the single B&D/Pride won't be in the new album? There's NO official tracklist yet in order for ppl to be so adamant that it surely won't be there.

Well maybe it's because the single is more closer w/ the album release date. Who would spend money on a single when both of the songs will be on the album in the coming month?

^ppl might buy the single for the remixes,...remember how ppl was so anxious about Heaven single...

The reasons they may be not included:
- note on the official site which lists "STEP you", "is this LOVE?", "fairyland", "alterna", "HEAVEN" and "Will" as single songs on the album. Nothing about "B&D" and "Pride" being included
- the DVD contains ONLY PVs (without any photo gallery etc.). This year Hamasaki always put bonuses on singles ("my name's WOMEN" PV, "fairyland" and "HEAVEN" photo galleries) so that the DVDs from the singles won't become worthless after the release of the album. This one single has no photo gallery. One could think that the reason is that the PVs won;t be included in the album.

I am buying all singles so no "B&D/Pride" on the album would be perfect for me... however...

The reasons they may be included:
- the singles A-sides are ALWAYS put on albums ;(
- not putting these two songs on a official site with the list of other singles included in the album may be a marketing trick. Just like Ken Hirai's POP STAR. Before the single was released Ken's site was stating that the "POP STAR" song and PV won't be included in the best album. But two weeks after the release of the "POP STAR" single the Best album tracklist was reannounced and the song WAS included.

Hmmm Shiso has a point, it might be a good idea to market it that way.

Also, maybe it wasn't in that list, because the whole site is already about B&D so there was no need to include it? It would be highly irregular if she didn't add it. Like how Namie Amuro left the Speed Star off Queen of Hip-Pop.

I hope these tracks aren't on the album, I want a lot of new material, not a bunch of singles that we've already heard.

It´s even better cause she´ll have to other songs instead of B&D and Pride =)

That's probably why we're just getting info on the album although the preorder links have been out for over a month.

anyway, me too, am confused.. why are you guys so sure that it will NOT be on the album, the website did not say so perhaps becos it is not released yet? the
website didnt say that Bold & Delicious and Pride will be included in the upcoming album, neither did they say they will NOT include it.. so why the assumptions?

i am pretty sure that those 2 songs will be on the album, if not, why release them AS A SINGLE? with so much promotion, going to NY to film the PV, end up being nowhere in an album...

i don't think a previously released song like Bold&Delicious will be a hidden track, besides, historically hamasaki never done that, hidden tracks are always new: kanariya, flower garden, +...

back to the topic, i don't know how am i supposed to feel after hearing this, i mean, i intended not to buy Bold&Delicious/Pride because i thought they'll be in (miss) understood, but now when the news came out, i don't know, should i be glad or not...

if the news is true, that means hamasaki has already promoted songs for the future (after (miss) understood) when (miss) understood itself hasn't been released yet

what is she thinking?

There wasn't one on Memorial address or MY STORY.

i think avex wants ppl to buy the single, so by temporarily not announcing that these songs wont be included, sales would go up. after a week or two, then they'll announce it.

I wish they would give the official tracklist now though, eagerly waiting for that.....

Well i hope they r on the album! it wud b a shame not to put them on. they r great songs though i have to admit bold and delicious is sorta wierd....

since the other thread stated that there will be 6 new songs, 2 interludes and in total 16 songs,
there will be 16 - 6 - 2 = 8 old songs.. and they are

7) Bold & Delicious
8) Pride

everything fits in place now!

It wasn't even anything to wonder about honestly. The single was a regular single, not some alternative work. It surely would be featured in her next album. ;)
