is my A Song for XX fake?
ive been looking at scans for A Song for XX...but none of them are the same as mine. especially the back of the case. on the scans, the picture is colored, but mine is black and white. please help:thud

If they are different than the scans, then yes, it's fake. I'm sorry to tell you. Did you buy it off of ebay or some other not legit site?

no i boght it on yesasia. hey would the fact that its the overseas version have anything to do with it?

What scans are you seeing where the back is in color? The CD cover & back ARE black & white.

I can't see the OS scan, its from Divine AYU and says hotlinked.

It looks to me like both are black & white except for the XX, which is orange... not sure where you're getting the color. They're both silvery though.

They usually do... but I did get The Past & Other Side of Ayu from them in mid '01.
As a rule they don't stock bootlegs OF official releases, so no Miya Records copies of A BALLADS or anything like that. They do occasionally stock bootleg cds that aren't official releases (they might contain official releases, like how The Past & Other Side of Ayu contains the other side series & Nothing from Nothing), but if you buy a release that's part of her official discography there, it's the real thing. |
Wait a minute, does that mean my Song for XX is bootlegged!? on the back the XX is orange. is not suppose to be? Gawd now i have to order it again. Mine as well get the pretty pony~pretty pony~pretty pony~ version since I have the money now...

If you look at the pics posted above, in both versions the XX on the back is in orange :yes If your version has the same Avex logo, text etc. as one of those scans, then it's not a bootleg.

you know what the best way is to tell if your CD is real or not?
take the actual disc and flip it over. along the ring that surrounds the innermost ring (where you place the CD into the CD player), you should be able to find the catalogue number of the disc. if it's not there, most likely its a fake. -hope that helps! |
Just look at the back of the CD for the ifpi crave and u'll be sure enough that ur copy is a original there's no need to look @ the cover @ all
