That's cool. Doesn't really tell us much about the song tho, since B&D and Pride sound so different. All that we know is that it will be cool.

Hmmm, the pv looks interesting from the screenshot of the DVD, but I've lost interest in it now because of who composed it. I liked Pride, but I don't think this person is a good composer at all. I don't expect much from this song now.

It was like that period of time when Ayu used BOUNCEBACK quite frequently ... but now GEO of Sweetbox? Maybe this time round it's a decent song ... since it's for the samurai video game (just can't seem to remember the game's title). But I'm still waiting in great anticipation! Rainy Day seems to remind me of STEP you's raining scene haha.

What's so wrong with GEO? I like his compositions. Pride is beyond excellent.

GEO is one of the founding (?) members of a group called SWEETBOX. They are a very popular group in Japan and have released Japan-only albums and even toured there.

Ayumi confessed to be a big fan of Sweetbox so she probably asked him to help her with the song.

yay I love B&D and Pride ^^ so i'll prolly love Rainy Day but i hope everyone else loves it too so ppl will stop hatin' on GEO

It will either be a crappy original composition (B&D) or a rip-off of another song (Pride). I can say that I STRONGLY DISLIKE GEO. Even moreso than BOUNCEBACK.

i'm really not into her sound this year, and unlike most of you, i miss bounceback. lol, i remember when memorial address came out everyone was PO'd about bounceback, but it's my favorite time period from her. this one just isnt poppin' for me.

I hope it isn't all churchy like B&D and Pride. I know many of Sweetbox's songs have a gospel feeling, but I hope this one will be totally different. (and maybe asian because of the Onimusha thing) :3

hmmm, don't know what to say, i'm OK with Bold&Delicious and Pride, but i sort of don't want another GEO/SWEETBOX song, ayu has become enough un-ayu these days, i don't want her to sound even more un-ayu (IMO Pride and Bold&Delicious are good songs, but they don't sound like ayu's songs)

but still, i'm looking forward to hearing the song, i hope it's really gonna be different than Bold&Delicious and Pride

Rainy Day sounds like more leaning toward a slower slow... or maybe even a rock song! I wouldn't mind hearing a rockish song composed by GEO...

I totally agree. I don't think gospel suits Ayumi at ALL. I don't mind changes in style, she's changed successfully many times before. Her rock stuff is really good, she can do most genres. But What GEO makes simply isen't ayumi hamasaki IMO.

I think the two that never fail are CREA and DAI, or them working together. DAI has made many of my favourite ayumi hamasaki songs, both up-beat and ballads. Perhaps not all of the RAINBOW stuff is as interesting, but I still think the amout of extremely good music proves that DAI compositon is right for ayumi . ;) Tetsuya Yukumi made many beautiful songs for MY STORY, but the songs are very much the same. I'd like to hear more from the creator of STEP you, because I think the simple, yet extremely catchy compositon of the song reminds me of good old songs like Fly High and seasons.

Well, GEO is a good composer, indeed... but his compositions doesn't suit Ayu.
A rock by GEO? Hm... I don't know... he can put some crazyness in the rock, like chorus ¬¬"

Gosh Geo is NOT a bad composer. It's just that Ayu's voice might not be apt for gospel. I mean Geo composes for Sweetbox's gospel songs too and they're GREAT!

I have a very bad feeling about this song. I didn't like her last single at all. If the album is anything like her last single, this will be her worst yet.

The CDData article never said Rainy day was composed by GEO, it just said it had a GEO of SWEETBOX feel.

Yeaa thats right...And if u wanna hear STEP you's composer more, BoA would have to lose her composer because they are the same person....

I have confidence in this album...Im sure it would be better than anythng so far...
