I am... (miss)understood ? -personal theory-
 

I've read several posts of ppl saying (miss)understood (the album) is like I am... released time ago, and I can see some of that on these new songs. I just get a good feeling of the old ayu-type of songs mixing with the new Stuff.

Now, this new album will be released on january 1st like I am... did, It has some of her best NEW songs ever, and it's ayu's 8th album; I am.. was 4th. Both albums have this eclectic feeling, mixing all types of generes into one album. Also, if you play with the titles of both albums it kinda makes sense: 'I am... (miss)understood'; she starts this new album with a song and not an intro-song like the past albums, so she might be sayin'g: '01.I am... 01.Bold & Delicious'

And Like I've said several times before.. I'm still wating for a 'connected' type of song and maybe a hidden track, this just might confirm my theory.

'(miss)understood' just might have a cool meaning as a whole!, besides the meaning of the songs itself.


So have you thought about this? or am I just taking my freakyfanness to the MAX!?? :laugh :laugh

ah okay. I love connected and would love to hear something similar to it. The ambient mix is really good.

oh wow that is very interesting!! But i doubt that ayu has gone that far with it but still she might!! I think u have a very good idea and it's very interesting. However, i have to say that i think I am is more Rockish then being more electronic! I think RAINBOW is more electronic but that's what I think so... but I think u got a very RAD point here!!

Interesting. Well I don't see them as a direct continuation but I do think this shall be the next excellent album after "I Am..."

Personally I think this album will be more like RAINBOW than I am... Some boring/bad songs, but some Extremely goood songs. About 40/60. No matter how good the new album tracks are, she'll still have B&D on it.. :P And to me, I am had almost no weak points.

That's what I think too... (miss)understood might be the next "I am..." of the new Ayu, that would be so cool.

I was thinking about this too.. Ayu said that before she released I am.. she planned for the covers and photos to be all glamourous but she changed her mind after the 9/11 attacks to make it look like.. peace.. so maybe (miss)understood is the idea she had for I am... before 9/11 XD

There are similarities. But I don't think Ayu intended any correlation between the two albums.

i love your theory...maybe its a coincidence...or maybe Ayu thinks in weird ways (i certainly think so!)

i was thinking Ayu could be going back to the I AM era also i hope that its true that way more singles!!!

this is an interesting theory...I would like to compare I am... with (miss) understood once the album comes out.

It would be interesting if this was indeed was Ayu had planned; but tracks like alterna and STEP you kinda makes me doubt the theory XD

Well, (m)u is ayu's 7th album. Memorial address is considered a mini-album not a full-length original album.

It's possible that your theory is true. It would be cool if it was.
I mean, Ladies Night seems like it could be a Connected-type of song. It's track three as well.

since this is an I am... (m)u theory i feel the rainy day PV is somehow connected with the NEVER EVER promtional clip. only because of that dog.... doesn't make sense i know.

I am misunderstood is the first thing on my mind when i saw this title, and it totally makes sense, ayu's trying to tell us that she's misunderstood by her fans.

It could mean the opposite though. The title isn't misunderstood, it is MISSunderstood. So it's I am...(miss)Understood.

Taken literally that would mean a girl who IS understood.

except a song for xx and I am, all of ayu's album have non obi
