http://tv.diamond.ne.jp/ - TV Diamond, a supposedly very reliable source has published this tracklist. James says that it's confirmed since it was published by them, so I will trust it (but you guys know me, I don't trust anything 100% until I see it on Avex's website. :P)

I'm not sure if you guys have noticed, but 6 of the songs on A Ballads have already been released on A Best (M, A Song for XX, appears, TO BE, SEASONS, and Who...). So almost half the album is a compilation of a compilation. Almost half the album was already on A Best. lol I think that's really stupid to have 6 songs on 2 different compilation albums. It amazes me how many times Avex tries to get people to buy the same song. I definitely won't be buying this album.

Yeah, nix "A Song For XX", "M", "Appears", and "To Be" (because they're not really ballads in my opinion AND they were already on A Best), and I would buy the album. I like "SEASONS" and "Who...", so those can be kept. And add "Ever Free", "Love ~Destiny~" (How could she forget that song?!? That's the one that put her on the top of the charts for the first time!!!!!!)... then I would definately buy it.

But if this is the real tracklist, I'll just think about it. :)

Remember some of these are supposed to be rearranged or rerecorded. Maybe the "A Ballads" version of "M" will be completely different than the original.

I'm looking forward to this CD, still I would have preferred that avex release a "RAINBOW" single with 10 remixes of "Real Me".

It still cant believe how LOVE~destiny~ as not included on this....It's the song from Ayu that most perfectly fits the ballads genre. Too bad ever free was forgotten too....M is not really a ballad in my opinion...appears is not clearly a ballad also....Oh well but at least I hope appears will be rearranged...I :beat that song!

Isn't that the same list of songs that has been floating around for a while now? Why do you all of a sudden believe this one and not the other lists? Not that I'm saying this is a lie or anything..

CDJapan still says the CD is expected to contain 14 tracks. and their info is usually spot on.

Well we still don't know exactly what they are going to do with the songs on this album. Ayu might do a lot more than resing them. So I'm going to wait a hold of judgement until after the album comes out and I hear it. I definitely won't buy it, but I'll download it to see what it's like. (Then maybe if I'm SUPER impressed I might buy it). So I'm going to try not to judge or speculate until it comes out 'cause we really don't know yet.

Well, it's like "Cyber Trance 2" all over again, with half the album having already been released on a best compilation. It's all so shrouded in mystery.

Dang, they better whip out the funk on these songs or else Avex is going to see some really unhappy Ayu fans. I'm going to download before I consider buying. I am looking forward to redone songs, though...

well i wish AYU will include more than one new single on the compilation album. It kind of bored to hear the same old song although she will be re-released some of the track with a new vocal or mix. I want more...!!!!

hmm.. i think this is the best tracklist for now.. although i'm kinda bored hearing SEASONS everywhere, almost every mixes and compilation have SEASONS if not all of em.. and i'm curious about RAINBOW..

i still don't get it why avex didn't put RAINBOW in the RAINBOW album.. ugh >.<

Fans submitted lyrics for the song RAINBOW, and I think Ayu is taking those lyrics to write the song. I'm not sure if she's using fans lyrics for everything or if she's just getting ideas and inspirations from the fan's the lyrics. I'm not quite sure. I think she's just taking the fans lyrics and using them to help her write the lyrics. I dunno, we'll find out for sure when it's released and we see who it says wrote the lyrics. ;)

She's taking the lyrics the fans submit, and then writing her own based on the fan lyrics. I don't think she's directly using the lyrics the fans sumbit. We'll know soon.

This CD looks all right, but I'll let you guys buy and judge it before I do :)

i can't read japanese :o but after running it through a translator and judging from the pic (yeah ghetto i know) it seems she's doing "covers" of her old songs (well with rainbow being an exception i guess). but if someone can actually read that, correct me if i'm wrong :P

i'm not surprised SEASONS is on there because it was one of her most popular songs (if not THE most..?) i'm just glad TO BE is on there. i LOVE that song :) i think it's a good sample of her career :thumbsup
