私たちは6月7日発売のシングルをもってSweetSとしての活動を卒業する事となりました。
2003年8月27日デビューから約3年が経とうとしています。
学校とSweetSの活動で大忙しだったこの3年間は、永い様であっという間でした。

if you don't wanna read it and all, their latest single, "Bitter sweets" was just release and AKI and AYA are back as 5nin SweetS again. Performing at LaQua, AKI reported to the fans that they're disbanding and their last single is going to be release on June 7th, 2006. Their single is also including their 2nd and last photobook. Their last performance is on April 2nd at the GIRL'S BOX concert. The disbanding isn't a sad breakup but a good one. AKI and AYA did pass their entrance exams so congratulations to them!

Lot of people mention they might reunite one day. I guess school is probably what their focused on now.

Hope we get a memorial boxset with, like, all of their a-sides, b-sides, album tracks and remixes. I'd pre-order in a heartbeat. <3

i dont know them much but have like 2 or 3 songs from them and they sound good.. i dont even know how they look!...

But I guess they would outgrow the name SweetS soon enough.
All the girls are talented enough...I'm sure we'll see them again in the future.

I really liked SweetS, their songs were pretty darn catchy and fun, and they were surprisingly talented for their age. Hope to see stuff from them in the future, but i'm glad that they're concentrating on school (which kids should really be doing at that age heh)

Ah... I wish they wouldn't break up, but when you get young girls still in school, it makes things harder. It was good while it lasted. I hope the girls still stay in music though^^

Its good its not a disband for quarreling or smth they just concentrate on school ^^ its good ^______^

It's quite disheartening that the group is disbanding. Not only will I miss the girls, I will miss the works from the Avex production team - BOUNCEBACK, Atsushi Sato, romAntic high, monk, Greenwich Fields, et al. While these people do work for other artists, I felt that their material for SweetS was some of their best.

It has been a wonderful journey following Aki, Aya, Haruna, Miori, and Mai since their beginnings. Best of luck to them.

my friend was so sad when she heard this. she was saying 'omg SweetS is disbanding omgomgOMG!!!' and freaked out

I was really sad when I found out, but I think it's for the best. Their music never was the same after their first mini-album. It was really... bad >.> They only had a couple memorable songs after their mini-album. As much as I don't like BOUNCEBACK, they made some amazing songs for SweetS and it's too bad they didn't continue doing so that much after the mini-album. My favorite song is Tear "Lemon" Drop

I understand what you mean, I don't think the other material after the first mini-album was exactly, bad, but it was nothing like the first album. My favourite song was 'Love like candyfloss'. ^-^
