Angela Aki's single from HOME. Reached #6 in Oricon, a power ballad.

This Is Love
The new Hikki digital single that is absolutely loveable. A futuristic love song, #1 in iTunes Japan.

Is This Love
Ayu's single that came with Step You but overshadowed by it in terms of promotion and airplay. Reached #1 in Oricon.

I say "This is Love" ;) It's a great song and I love how the song opens up the album. :yes

I prefer This love by Angela Aki anyway. Ayu's Is this love is a little boring to me ><

I chose This Is Love as well. Like you said, soysaucestar, excellent album opener that pulls you into the world of ULTRA BLUE.

This is love. It was the most fresh souding out of the 3. I can NEVER get bored of this song like I do with the other two.

there's one more current '(is) this (is) love?' in j-pop. 'Is This LOVE' By ARIA from Rhythm Zone , Avex. it's a sorta recent release.

anyways , I'm torn between ARIAs and Ayu's ones. I like them both. other is RnB & other is pop so I can't really decide which ones "better".

This Love piano instruments is really emotional, followed by touching lyrics & deep songs.
is this LOVE? is powerfully sang & brings back sad emotions but different than the feel in This Love, and not saying that any of them are bad....
while
This is Love is filled with techno/trance electronic sound & happy mood.

I cannot say which one I like, coz I love all of them.

But when iTunes shuffle play any of them, the song that I wouldn't skip is This Love coz in certain random mood, I wouldn't want any song that can effect the way am I feeling...(I'm easily touched & moved by song...:))

My favourite is "This is love", but "This Love" is also amazing. "is this LOVE?" is just a good song.

Definitely Ayu's "Is this Love?". Awesome song with a great rock style to it.

I like Hikki's This is Love and how futuristic it sounds but it doesn't compare to Ayu's song.

As for This Love, I keep hoping that Angela Aki will grow on me but I still find her rather boring, and that includes this song (which is probably my favorite song by her :()

Is this LOVE? gets my vote. I liked it ok, but after watching the video, I fell in love with it. In second place comes "This is love" great song! and I don't know the other one.
