Hahaha.. I can't help but laugh at ayu's performance, she's such a diva. Everyone else had "normal" stage sets, and then ayu shows up with her gospel choir, enormous dress, band.. =P Ayu's freakin travelling circus!


was that koda talking before ayumi? her voice is so.. low, especially compared to ayu's. It made her sound like some morning musume girl. O.o

Could anyone make a list of the performers? I'd especially like to know who the first one performing was. =)

What are shareholders?

ermm.. people who bought 'shares' / stocks and thus invest money in Avex? The people who took ALOT of money away from Avex when Ayu wanted to leave Avex a while ago.

the violinist is Taro Hakase (Hakase Taro). he's quite famous, esp. in japan, of course. he composed(?) and performed the symphonic poem for Final Fantasy XII, and he's the one who played the violin parts in Celine Dion's "to love you more". he has actually performed live with celine dion at some of her concerts.

I just find the whole notion of a Avex Shareholders Meeting-Concert weird. Ok, it's technically a meeting, but I'm still baffled by the concert part. Oh yar, and there are THAT MANY people who invest in Avex? Are they like company people who buy shares and invest in the company or what?

Well, if you own avex stock, you're probably eligible to go. ;3

According to SANSPO, Ai and Koda Kumi performed 4 songs each and Ayu was the last one to perform and performed two songs.

i was watching it before and yeah was so boring until the last part when u see Ayu performs! blue bird is so energetic heee

It's not as if Ando Yuko has had much experience performing live so far. And I'm very surprised people who have listened to Ayu live can say Yuko's voice hurts their ears. And the falsetto is MEANT to be there.

I'm surprised you didn't notice my post right above yours, or even checked the thread before posting. And no, Ando Yuko does not hurt your ears.

Anyway. The singer playing the piano is Nakamura Ataru, who's scheduled to make her major label-debut this week with Avex (quite obviously), after releasing a self-produced CD back in 2005. She's a singer-songwriter produced by Kameda Seiji, bassist for Tokyo Jihen, and dabbles in acoustic pop. Her debut single, "yogoreta shitagi", is quite interesting in more ways than one.
