May i ask what her dogs names are...ive cant understand her when she says their names O_O

they are:

1. maroon
2. CREA
3. Purin
4. Melon
5. Choco
6. Momo
7. Ringo
8. vanilla
9. i don't know the bulldog's name

Isn't that supposed to be Maron, not maroon? I remember seeing a clip of him running across the stage on a tour and Ayu called after him 'Maron' - there was no 'oo' sound in there.

^ oh. i'm sorry ^.^;; but yea, i dun think it's maron, though. i think it's marron, but it MAY be maaron, cuz if you listen to ayupan say it (yes, i'm basing this off of ayupan), she puts the stress on the a in marron...so it could be maaron...*shrugs* again, sorry for being rude ^.^;;

If it wasn't meant as rude, that's okay :) I just wasn't sure how to spell it because of the way Ayu pronounces it. I've heard her put emphasis on the 'a' too, but it's not clear if that's the way it's pronounced, or if it's just her way of saying it to show endearment. I sometimes do that with my dog, say his name a bit differently for that reason :yes

I think she has some random other animals too like a turtle.. XD

The dog's name is Maron. I have seen it be written many times. Like in one video at YouTube she says "Maron-chan!" and it is even subtitled in Japanese. And I can clearly read those katakanas. So it is Maron.

Btw, how many of the dogs are alive?

They're all also very little, such as chihuahuas and dachshunds, so I can imagine it would be MUCH harder if they were big dogs such as mastiffs and shephards.

Good question, since in the most recent mag scans where she's pictured with her dogs, she's shown with Choco, Maron, and Purin and not the others.

There was an article saying that she brings her dogs while she goes to Music Station, Music Fighter, etc and they leave little "presents" backstage lol

She's be grieving over it. She probably has them all, but some are a bit less photogenic than others. :p

That's most likely not a new dog, it was probably one she got on loan whilst in New York, because she wasn't able to bring her own dogs with her. It takes a lot to get a pet from one country to another, especially if the country has quarantine laws [animal can be in quarantine for 5 weeks to a few months depending on the law in a country], so it's not worth it really to go through all that [it can take months] just to take the dogs there for a couple of weeks. It was most likely a dog just on loan, because it takes the same requirements just to buy a dog in another country, so there's really no need to do that if you can just borrow one for a short time.

I know there's a huge pet business in NY city, and there are probably some places where someone like Ayu could loan a dog for a while. I saw a programme on Animal Planet about pet businesses, in Japan there are rental agencies for pets, for people who aren't allowed to keep pets in their buildings. It showed one couple who kept getting the same dog because they liked it so much. Pets are big business :yes



My post was about the dog in B&D side story, and explaining why it might not be, I never said she never got a new dog. You probably should have really quoted the original post, not mine.

i don't really know exactly how many dogs that ayu has..
the list that i made is the list of the dogs she has since she began her singing career so far..
for sure, marron, crea, purin and choco are the most-seen ayu's dogs in publics..
marron and crea are the special ones, i think..

In Nintendogs you can make your own dogs..

They mean to make the same dogs as Ayu's with the same names [name them the same.. ].. XD

itz crazy that she has 9 dogs!!! but she's rich and prolly doesn't have to worry much about taking care of them or anything...

the dogs are probably the closest companion for her..

well at one time, i had 7 big dogs...and they were very easy to take care of...now two have been given away, and one died for unknown reasons...but now back on topic...wow i didnt know she had that many dogs...my favorite is still Maron...It was so funny in the Alterna "making of" when Ayu was like, "Maron, Its me!"

yeah i remember on that part...maron was kinda not knowing that was ayu who was in full white make up..haha that's funny..
but finally the dog recognized the owner..

Actually i've seen Yo-chan and other staff members take care of her puppies like in the Rainbow recording people were taking her dogs out for her. Although i have seen her give one of the dogs a walk outside on her free timeand she lets them run free while she was recording CAROLS. Also she says that she sometimes gives them a bath and other times other people give her dogs baths. Hope that helped.
