I heard Turn it up, fightin' over me, and stars are blind already. They are not as bad as I through. Turn it up is my favorite song so far. I couldn't believe that she has some talented to be singer. Probably she ****ty attitude should be gone!

As for the songs I heard so far. I like stars are blind and screwed.

As much as I hate her, she does look nice on the cover. But I much perfer the "simple life" Paris then the "Singer" Paris. That show is funny as shhh! But I still don`t like her.

Too bad the show is only funny because of Nicole.

I don't like her voice at all. She sounds like she's drunk and has some cotton stuck in her throat because she sounds a lot like she's either really muffled or straining very hard. Nicole has a much clearer voice.

Her song, Jealousy...it's got a nice tune, but her voice kind of ruins it. Personally, I think she's ugly and sounds like she's hooked on drugs. I hate how she lies so much too. Or at least she makes it look like she's a liar.

Sounds like she always has some nose sniffles or something.

Paris' music is the stuf i'd love to hate -- her vocal talents are lacking, but she's definitely made up for it with good music... but I can see her stuff as being the kinda music i'll listen to for a while, and then never touch again.

I'm interested to see how bad/good her album does

It kind of sucks that the limited and regular editions'll have a different songs on them. Guess I'll buy both. =x

Everyone should check out "Nothing In This World". If you watch the MTV Special "Paris" last night they played it as the intro alot. This song is a GEM, amazing. Could be my new favorite song ever!

I like both but I watched the MTV special "Paris" and after watching it I have a lot more respect for her as a person and as a singer. She seems very chill and down-to-earth and funny. Nothing like what I thought she was and the Simple Life Paris is fake - she said she made her own personality up for the show - "It's like a game" she said.

She is so different on the special. I mean, it is her true self and she has said before that she created her own character for "The Simple Life" and likes to play it as more of a role.

I probably won't care about the album, since it sounds hip-hopish. Strong, deep bass sounding with lyrics that don't mean a thing to me.

Yes, there are some hip-hop tracks, but there are alot of other pop and **DANCE** tracks too. I hate hip-hop but I am overly excited for this album because the DANCE songs are sooooo goooood!

I actually want to buy this album. I just heard the preview to Turn It Up and I love it. I really like Stars are Blind. and I liked screwed. my rule is (to me at least) if you like 3 or more songs, it's worth buying.

I'm pretty sure they've used alot of vocal enhancer for the songs

I remember when Screwed, Alex G Remix leaked and it was awesome to work out to it.

Paris is a pop star, so you can't hate her for having a weak voice.

Why does everyone like this cover? I think it is attrocious... I think her Stars Are Blind CD single cover is the best and the hottest! The Turn It Up CD single cover is really nice as well.

I don't know how you can say it is "sad". I think alot of the songs are good but some aren't that great. The best is "Nothing In This World" - so amazing and delicious. I also like Heartbeat (intro sounds alot like "Get Together" by Madonna - which I also love), Screwed (mainly because I saw Haylie Duff perform it live - her version was alot better and more rock), Jealousy, and a lot more.

Why does less good artist deserves good cover than the better ones?

Now I love Paris...don't get me wrong...and I loved 'Stars are Blind' but the album is just a big pile of self indulgence.

The songs are bland...the only ones I can actually enjoy are, "Screwed (I Was and I filmed it)", and "Jealousy (an ode to Nicole <3<3<3)"

I hate to admit it but I'm secretly a huge fan of Paris. I have to say, Paris' music is surprisingly solid now that I've heard the full album. Easily the best vanity project I've ever heard (not that that's saying much) and one of the better American pop albums I've heard in a while. I think it succeeds because it's totally unprententious and fun, and more importantly my expectations for the album were remarkably low. I've grown quite fond of Paris' raspy wheezing/singing and the songs themselves are more than just tolerable, they are actually really enjoyable. It doesn't hurt that the cover is gorgeous, and her lazy eye even looks stunning on it. Going out to buy the CD might not be as embaressing as I thought it would be.

She's controlled by lots of agents and managers, the woman don't really have any control over her image... you should see her manager when she came to Brasil to promote her perfume, it was depressing, he was correcting her...

Plus, she's such a liar.

But her songs are OK... not awesome, but not bad either.

Plain and Simple - Her album rocks. All but two songs were incredibly done.

The only problem with her is just that she did get this record only becouse she's famous, not becous she can sing a bit. Would it be better to give all those songs to some gal who actually has vocal talent?... But yeah... it's all about market values, not artistic values today.

These songs wouldn't be what they are nor as good as they are without Paris singing them. They just fit her voice so well.

I like the first single but i dont know if i could listen to a whole album of her.

I'm really surprised how solid her music is. I didn't hate "Stars are Blind" as much as much as I wanted to, or even at all, but I thought it was just a fluke and was expecting the album to be awful. But after listening to the album I really don't have any big complaints. Maybe I'm just thrilled that Paris didn't resort to producing angry white girl music that most people who make a record because they can tend to make.

Wow, I don't know what you all see in this album....but this "music" and her "singing voice" is as vapid and shallow as her. It's funny how this album was how I expected it to be...with her whispering "ooooh" "yeahhh" "that's hot" with some beat you would hear in music at a club. Lol. It's so lame how she tries to come off as sexy, but I think it comes off as hilarious. All this reminds me of that Samantha James character from that "Just Friends" movie.

I actually tried to listen to the song but it didnt sound like singing at all there was nothing about it that brought me in. And if I had money and flaunted it I could easily throw some **** together and it would sell like hot cakes. I mean I'm just goin off what I see and she hasnt givin anything to like. Paris Hilton is an empty shell with no emotion. She can't even be sexy.

I mean most of the songs are about how sexy she claims to be and yet she doesn't deliver.

Her voice isn't even hers but that doesn't matter cause if she had a shred of emotion, it would've been noticed.

It's a little sad how much positive buzz Paris is getting. At the most, I can understand someone finding the album okay, and liking some of the songs. But apparently people actually LOVE it! If that's the case, then I guess it really is true that anyone can be a star, as long as you have the money.

I have never heard a more lifeless album in my life. If someone can dispute that, I'd love to hear what could possibly sound more robotic. "Stars are Blind" is definitely the stand out track. I downloaded a version of the album that didn't include that single, and it really put a damper on things. The music was so dull and simple at times. But I can see why that is. Paris has no range whatsoever, she just talks with a hint of melody. The music can't be too complicated or too powerful or else it would over power her. But still, dhr makes Ciara and Ashanti sound like Opera singers.

I'm pretty surprised at how bad this cd was, especially after how many "surprisingly good" reviews I saw for it. Oh well, I'll never overestimate Paris Hilton ever again.

Scott didn't drop from Xtina's album, she dropped him! She wanted a new sound for her new album. Besides, he sucks anyways. I hate that hip-hop crap. I only like the dance/pop tracks on this album. I think it is good.

Lifeless this, boring that, I'm sick of it. Everybody knocks her simply because she's not perfect. But regardless of anything the album is not that bad. I think people are just sickeningly jealous that someone like her can get a decent album.

So she can't sing, neither can britney spears. So she's not sexy, neither is britney really. But guess what? Britney sells albums, sells out concerts, and so will Paris. It doesn't have to be poetic or perfect, it just has to be radio worthy, or at least likable. And it was for me. Yes, if some one else sang them they'd be even better, but it is PARIS, so deal with it, either listen or don't listen.

But nobody here has any room to talk about her or her life, because what you see on TV and what really goes on are two different things. When i first heard "Stars are bllind", i wanted to hate it because it was from Paris and i kept on thinking this is another excuse for her to MAKE MORE MONEY even though she's got more than enough..but eventually, i liked it a lot..even though some radio DJ's here are saying that the song is not original and they even aired a VERY similar song to hers for proof..heh..even the DJs hate her..
my friend already has the album and..err...i really love SCREWED,Nothing in this world and leaving without you,..the other songs didnt seem to get me that interested anymore..they sounded too common RnB/dance..but its fun to listen to..expect her famous line "That's hot" to come out in one of her songs..and some annoying "oooohhs" and "aaahhhs" and "yeaaahhs"...
