HONG KONG-Yesterday Avex Asia Limited had issued a press release in response to Alan Tan's remark in a radio program the day before about Hamasaki Ayumi's out of tune performances. The press release stated that "Mr Alan Tan's remark had directly affected the goodwill of our company's artist Hamasaki Ayumi, and had also directly affected the interest of the company. Therefore we reserve all right to legally pursuit the matter."

Avex stated in the press release that Alan lack the political intellenge and did not realise that his current status has direct conflict of interest with RTHK Radio's International Pop Music Award. The record company had also mentioned that listeners of the program have changes of being mislead with Alan Tan's remark, thus affecting Ayu's chance of winning the award.
They had also invited Alan to Japan to watch Ayu's live performance.

Well, apparently Alan must have missed Ayu's Stadium Tour. Her vocal performance was fabulous there! I'm sad to read that someone is openly dissing her live performances but glad Avex is taking action for it. Go Avex! :thumbsup

Alam Tam was very popular in HK last time..he remains as 1 of the most respected person of all time in HK..
he is now a principal of a school in HK..so now they always call him "Hao cheong"(principal)...
i don't know wtf is his problem...he can just stuff his foot in his mouth..

Although I would hate to admit that, Ayu can sing really bad in some of her live performances. She has improved a whole lot but sometimes it's really not nice listening to some of her live performances especially in the countdown lives. But then other cool artists like Tomiko Van can really do bad live performances sometimes also...I don't really care for that! Their originals are still wonderful and they can sing in lives pretty good when they want to.

Ayu's live performances aren't always super amazing, but who cares? I still like them. They're just fine for me, and lately her live performances have been great!

This Alan guy is a freak. hahahhaa No one cares what he thinks. lol I'll still like Ayu even if he's jealous and has nother better to do with his time than critisize other people. :P

yeps, much as we HATE to admit it, Ayu's live singing isn't always perfect, i mean, her CDL 2001-2002 was just plain crap. But she does have some really fine moments during her concerts, her Stadium Tour is an excellent example of this. And her recorded singing is almost always near perfect so, I'm not complaining ^^;;

Yeah, well Ayumi is a busy girl. Why does everyone expect her voice to be perfect all the time. She has the most tours ive ever seen anyone do. Also those strenous release dates.

Seems several people are posting bad remarks about Ayu lately.. why? no one knows, but I just hope that these comments will end soon. Ayu doesn't talk bad about others, so I'm not sure why people are picking on her... :curse

Well for your information, Alam Tam has gone bankrupt long ago and has a fierce law dispute with his ex-wife. Their negative news had always dominated on the press' entertainment section for months.

Even as an administrator of AHS I'm very fabergastered with this guy. So what he's honest? After several Hong Kong artists being bashed by him, now Ayu's being bashed by him too. I understand his "senior class" in Hong Kong but it's just that he's an old man trying to get some publicity using Ayu.

Off Key or not, I'm going to judge her myself, but bashing other artist isn't a very good idea and now he is drawing fire to himself. Serves him right!

Currently Alan hasn't made any reply to the Avex, and one more thing, Avex has even threatened to withdraw not only Ayumi, but also BoA and other JPOP artists from the award ceremony.

Personally I think Ayu doesn't short for any awards.... it's also OK that she can miss out the ceremony, as to let the guys taste her wrath.
