I didn't post these up last week but these year-on-year decreases as of last week:

For those wondering how well 2006 is doing here are some stats:
2005 TOP 50 Single Sales (As of 1st Week of September): 15,634,275
2006 TOP 50 Single Sales (As of 1st Week of September): 15,398,141
2006 Decrease of 236,134 or 1.51%

2005 TOP 50 Album Sales (As of 1st Week of September): 27,756,850
2006 TOP 50 Album Sales (As of 1st Week of September): 25,494,139
2006 Decrease of 2,262,711 or 8.15%

I think singles will be able to break even/have increased sales since there's still a lot of big singles yet to be released in the remaining 10 or so weeks. As for albums, there are only a handful, so I think it will be a 'down' year for albums, but an 'up' year for singles.

Hopefully she'll reach 260K XD

Personally, I always feel so lost in these threads. I have no basis for determining whether sales or good or bad although knowing that it's far from number one is kinda discouraging. At least at the end of the day, the single's nice in my mind.

well i KNOW!!! Ayu's singles will be a little greater than last years because Blue Bird sold just about and around 236,134 and judging from how MANY people on all the Ayu forums LOVE the new song 1LOVE and lets not forget about JEWEL,the single which should becoming out pretty soon this year,i think will out the singles list over the top of year 2005.:D
