I think that they shouldn't have put DBSK in the TV broadcast.. :/

I can't believe some of the poeple they chose to show more of and then BoA, Otsuka, and Kumi only get 2 tracks and then only 3 for Ayu which is low compared to other years.

This really sucks because for sure Startin' and Blue Bird will be on the dvd release as well. According to how other dvd releases have gone, that means that we probably are not going to get to see A Song For or Seasons, or possibly not see both.

I think if the a-nation '06 DVD's release info is true, it'll feature possibly.. every / most songs that artists got to do..

Yeah, 3 DVDs is crazy... I think it will include all 6 songs, normally it's only 1 DVD, right?

Even you were just saying in the A-Nation DVD thread that if there are 3 dvds, it's likely that only one will be of the main stage. :( Really the only performances I was looking forward to were Seasons and A Song For... so this is dissappointing.

I'm guessing that since news footage included evolution.. that will be definitely on the DVD..

Although SEASONS and A song for xx are like.. eh.. I don't think they have a chance of being on the DVD :<
I'll take A song for xx over SEASONS if they do decide..

Startin', Blue Bird, and whatever song she went around on the cart in will for sure be on the DVD and then maybe one more song. I'll take A Song For XX as well.

There were a lot of artists this year.. :o~

And I mean no offense to some of the other artists, but the main reason people will watch this and buy the dvds is for the artists like Koda, Ai, BoA, and Ayu and they are the ones that got shafted the most on the tracklist - usually the TV set list is much better than the DVD set list, so I shudder to think what the dvd is going to look like for those artists.

Let us have nice dreams until when it is announced and just hope for the best :).

I don't think the lesser artists is very offended. They are lesser and they know it.

hitomi seems to be getting quite an amount of attention

Again, her first 'song' was a medley of like 4-5 songs.
She had '9 or 10' songs total or something.. but only sang the length of around 5-6.

So. Last year a-nation was one DVD with 18 tracks and 12 substage performances..

16 artists on main stage, 12 on substage.. plus backstage shots.

Perhaps they can fit a bit more than we thought..

A Song for XX was the performance I looked forward to the most aswell, it would be LOVELY to hear it live with new instrumentation, and her new vocals :yes.

No offense, I love hitomi ALOT and cherish her dearly, but why the hell is she getting so many songs? I never knew she was popular... This really sucks. I really wanted to see some hit performances, like SEASONS and A Song For XX, but I guess you've got to love what you've got anyway.

Just stating for those who didn't know, a bunch of hitomi's setlist was a medley..

so in the actual a-nation concert on the 26th, she 'had' 9-10 songs as shown here:

I'm hoping too. But it won't happen unless they expand Ayu's time on the dvd and w/ so many artists on one disc, I doubt it. I'm pretty sure Ayu tracklist will be 1. Startin(opening) 2. Evolution (because Ayu is out in the audience) 3. Boys & Girls (because Ayu is out in the audience) 4. Blue Bird (closing)

I just watched the tv version and yep, probably the worst A-Nation coverage since '02 for the major artists.

I'm gonna guess it's because they have too many 'major' artists to fit within a 2 hour timeframe.. x.x

Like truehappiness mentioned before, they were all part of a medley, so it's not really that many.

From what I skimmed through of her set though, the ones that were aired were not the songs in the medley.

Perhaps.. it really WASN'T a medley o___o;

But the site I go to listed it once for her first performance, and then didn't do it anymore after that.. perhaps they just meant it was a medley from then on..

figured Ayu says Tokyo Dome during her performance, at least that is what I interpreted her Engrish like.

Maybe the TV version was from the first performance and the DVD is from the 2nd? I don't know. Maybe the TV/DVD will feature clips from both of them, or maybe both are only from the last one.

I suspect it'll all be from the last performance. Was Ayu on both?

Even if the DVD/TV version are from the same concert the DVD version will be edited a whole lot more, especially vocally.

The TV version mixed the 26th and 27th.

hitomi, not present at the 27th a-nation, was at the 26th.
Some artists like BoA or something weren't featured in the 8/26 performance but were in the 8/27 one :p

Yes.

Usually the DVD mixes as well. See, Ayu was in cornrows for 8/26 and then was in the new hair on the 27th.. :o
