The Ayu-domination continues.

I guess they cut those out. Usually the songs that aren't 'requirements for a-nation' are stuck off of it.

Usually an a-nation performance consists of:
Spring single
Summer single
oldies

The oldies will mix and match and usually be cut out of the final product.

Example:
a-nation '05
STEP you => spring single
fairyland => summer single = cut
Greatful days => oldie = cut
is this LOVE? => spring single = cut
HANABI => oldie
Boys&Girls => oldie => cut
independent or flower garden => oldie
July 1st => oldie

A LOT was cut from the TV version/DVD version. [this is counting the is this LOVE not on the DVD]
I think that this year BLUE BIRD needed to be promoted somehow so they stuck it in July 1st's place.. [most of the time, Ayu gets her opening and closing songs with maybe one or two inbetween :<]

Ami got a song that wasn't originally on the broadcast but that's all she got [perhaps this is the one in shorts].
hitomi retained a medley.. kinda.
TOHOSHINKI, Ai, and Road of Major kept one song.
AAA and ELT maintained their only songs.
TRF got a bunch of songs cut out.
BoA got a song not in her original tracklist but that's all she got.
Ayu got a song added to her 3-song list. [only one with an addition huhuhu]

Kuu lost 1 song and it's you! I can't believe it!

I think the news footage from a while ago was 'proof' of this..

They seemed to show the DVD-ish performances.. i.e parts of evolution / B&G etc..

Well it's not the best tracklist, but it could be worse... I wanted to see ASfXX or Seasons instead evolution...
Then BoA and Ami hot tracklist, but Koda and Ai not hot ('cause they're the same songs as the TV version)

Do they come with that guitar D:?

Yep, it's the exact same set list for Ayu that I predicted. :( Won't be buying this years.

I think expecting SEASONS or A song for XX would've been like expecting a tiny snippet of fairyland in a-nation '05..

*Sigh*..I knew avex would mess up the dvd tracklist!! God the real a-nation concert is soo long and this is what they pick out of the best!~! Why did they put the minor artists that no one cares about..(aka Rinka)..and not the guest artists!..like DJ Ozma, T.M, m-flo, MMGT..etc..I know it's suppose to be an avex concert and all..but the guest performances were way more memorable..Ugh..they cut all the good performance of TRF..took out Shake it Up from Kuu(even though she didn't sing it in tokyo ><)..and NO A SONG FOR XX..then again..I can't imagine her perform it without that dress she had in nagoya..it would be way too weird ..

I'm not surprised that ayu has the amount of songs she has..since that is normal for all a-nation dvds..Yes a-nation is an ayu wh*re concert(why u think 1/3 of the crowd has ayu goods..and the line to buy them is soo long..heck more than the official a-nation goods)..especially when DJ ozma..i swear to god..half the time asking the audience was ready for ayu!! (He must be a fan lol)..Even though Ai and Kuu may be the hot things right now..(I love them both)..nothing will change the crowds love for Ayu ,TRF's, and few other..performances..

You were there, OMG. Going to a-nation would be so cool, I want to do that one day even though there's only one artist that I care about.

OMG..I didn't see that lol..Fine..that doesn't change the fact..that this is a weak tracklist..T.M was at the tokyo performance..why isn't he on the tracklist!!..and what about DJ OZMA!!..They should've have just taped his performance from Nagoya/Osaka..-.-..oh nvm I see MMGT..on this list..i think lol..^^

I dunno..I say you should only go to a-nation if you like at least a few avex artists..Since..it's a long long long long long concert..u will be outside all day standing in the sun..or get soaked in the rain like me lol..(I had a post about my a-nation experience back in august)..I love ayu..and also like kuu, ai, TRF, TM, DJ OZMA..that is why I had a good time..

However, a-nation is a good deal..7,800 yen(standard price) for a god knows how long concert..5+hours for sure..it's a lot of fun..a huge crowd(getting out was death itself)..but u gotta wait till the end to see ayu ^^..great experience!!=)..can't wait to see ayu in '08 !!

I'm sure if you listened to some of the others, you would get into them too. But yeah, when I started out it was like AYU AYU AND ONLY AYU! hehe :)

I would've have took more pics at a-nation however..i was being paranoid that if they caught me with my camera..and saw me taking pics..i may have been in trouble..when i went inside..they looked thru my bag..but didn't even noticed my camera~!..but my japanese friend told me i should give it to them..cause there was this place to keep ur cameras..-.-..so i did..All i gotta say about a-nation is that..they promote and yell things like crazy..aka..BUY 4 HOT WAVE..OR BUY TOKYO FRIENDS..and have ppl carrying around these huge poster signs!..But at least i took a pic of the a-nation huge ball..and the ayu goodie stand haha..they have good and cheap food there for sale..and yummy shaved ice!!..also u get free posters if u buy cds there!!^^
I wish i took more pics!!!!!..I will never forget the amount of stares and sugoi's i got when walking around carrying a ton of ayu's stuff lmao..

The cover is really cute but not a fan of the tracklist. I wish they would have placed in A Song for XX of SEASONS instead of evolution but oh well. I wonder if they will have Ayu's intro vid on the dvd.

Ayu has so much because she ALWAYS does. She opens and 'ends' the end of the concert.
