cool. thanks for the info! ^^

immel 16th October 2006 12:45 PM

Isn't that actually one of her highest sales numbers for a CDL concert?

alternarist 16th October 2006 12:48 PM

^ yeah that was wat i wanna ask too.. anyway, thanks for the info!! good to hear that..

immel 16th October 2006 12:50 PM

Is my memory letting me down, or wasn't the CDL0405 sales like 40k, and AT05 sales like 70k?

I wonder what the AT06 sales will be like, it'll be exciting following its march through the charts.

truehappiness 16th October 2006 12:51 PM

AT05 had a 40k first week debut~ :3

extepan 16th October 2006 01:42 PM

that's good sales!!

truehappiness 16th October 2006 01:47 PM

It is entirely possible for this to pop back up when some other things drop :)

That happened with a bunch of other DVD releases <3

AyuGAME 16th October 2006 02:09 PM

I do not think so, it jumped off the charts way too long time ago, also she's already got a new DVD upcoming.

Yukitora 16th October 2006 03:26 PM

Although Ayu has quite weak DVD sales compared to other Jpop singers of the same level of popularity, I am still see surprised to see them so high :D

Thanks a heap. I didn't know how any of the other DVDs sold!

darkswordz 16th October 2006 03:36 PM

that's very good :yes

I thought she was pretty strong, except compared to the boybands.

Compared to them everyone else is weak.

Terri 16th October 2006 08:15 PM

Sales are sales, I try not to think of them too much

It's good to be updated here and there, though :yes

truehappiness 17th October 2006 12:36 AM

I do wonder why Ai and Koda have such scarily high DVD sales..

Perhaps their concerts don't sell out and those who don't go, buy the DVD..?

immel 17th October 2006 12:41 AM

I'm pretty sure their concerts sell out, too.

avex knows how to plan so that it'll sell out, hehe.

nodoka 17th October 2006 12:52 AM

Yeah! I'm so happy on Ayu's sales.

Their concerts sell out, but maybe it's a lot smaller than Ayu's. (i.e. Ayu's 260k compared to Ai's 50k?)

truehappiness 17th October 2006 01:03 AM

Perhaps.

I'm guessing that due to the far lower amount of people, DVD sales are kinda higher..

Kinda like how Namie's SPACE OF HIPPOP is selling pretty well..

They're just more interesting to watch than listen :confused

truehappiness 17th October 2006 01:29 AM

No.. I think there's more to it than that. :|

pbs1605 17th October 2006 09:07 AM

Good sales,thanks for the news.

zeroshin888 17th October 2006 09:10 AM

Wow, good job Ayu!!!

freedreamer 17th October 2006 05:07 PM

nice one...i think coz Ayu's concerts a bigger in capacity...more people can go...but the other two are prett much held in a concert hall

andre2907 20th October 2006 11:40 PM

I think it's because everybody already have millions of Ayu concert DVDs and most fans chose the 2001 hits than the current ones (so they can buy the Dome Tour). While with Koda Kumi and Ai Otsuka, they have very few DVDs and people are interested in seeing them live, how they perform, etc.

extepan 21st October 2006 05:59 AM

thanks for the news!

Probably true. That's why both Kuu's and Ai's 1st Live DVD sold tons and Ai's 2nd Live DVD didn't sell as much as the 1st.
