Questions about Ayu's family.
 

ok i have a few questions to ask u guys.most of them cant be answered but ill still ask anyways.

ok first,the grandmother that Ayu lived with,which side of the family was she from,the mothers of the fathers.

if Ayu and her mother didnt no where the father was,than y didnt they just ask his side of the family??unless he didnt have any.

did Ayu have a grandpa??

did Ayu have any aunts or uncles??

how old is Ayu's mother??how much older is she from Ayu's age??

What is Ayu's mother doing now,because she doesnt have to work so hard to provide for a family anymore??

i think her grandmother was from the mother's.
it doesn't make sense if she would be from the father's

Um.. I think even Ayu doesn't know her mother's age because if she asked her, her mom would be like "You know I'm 20 ;)" .. I remember reading that :P

I don't think any of us knows her that much to anwser those questions.

About the other questions, all are pretty interesting, I don't think theres a whist of information, anywhere to be seen.

If Deli doesn't know, then no-one knows, so let's wait for her :D.

I havnt read much about it but I think her dad left when she was really really young. Maybe her parents just got separated and eventually lost touch with everyone from that side of the family. I know it happens alot with a lot of families.

Also, isnt "memorial address" about her dad? like she never knew where her dad went but finally was able to see him again because he passed away? Please correct me if im wrong, im new here:)

There was a long, and very interesting, discussion here a few months ago, almost half a year ago, about Ayus father possibly being from the US. A lot of things clicked around that theory, although we may never know. I don't know if I could find that thread again though.

It was about him, but we do not know if it has anything to do with him passing away.

I'm sure ayu's mum has contact with her in-laws, but I think the break-up was mutually agreed upon, so she won't be going around asking about him, I guess.

Remember this interview when ayu mentioned that when she was around 3, she saw her father leaving the house with lots of luggage one morning? And when she asked him where he was going, he said he's off to work, and that was the last time she ever saw him. So, for him to be able to pack his things and leave, I'm sure the mum knows and agrees on the issue, so it's not like he walked out without anyone knowing why..

Sometimes It's just sad to see things like that, I mean Ayu has drowned in a endless sorrow of loneliness for years, and it has inspired her in writing lyrics.

Guess she doesn't have any time to work on small things like meeting her mother, have a chit-chat or asking "where's father?" again because that's past, and she's living in the present.

But I hope she have a special time to mourns on her grandma's grave....

From what I have read on Masa's site and another place I can't remember, Ayu's Mom was a philanderer - and I think this may have been the reason for the split. Her Grandmother was the one who really raised Ayu because her mom was out almost every night, she never had that great a relationship with her mom and that's why it was such a crushing blow to Ayu when her grandmother died. Her mom was also really into putting on a ton of makeup etc and tried to raise Ayu that way and that's probably where she got her sense of it from although she doesn't need it!

I don't know what her mom is up to these days. I know once in a while she shows up to video shoots (I think these have been on the DVDs).

Her Mother has never appeared on any DVD that I know of.

That was my crazy, possible theory. :) Someone brought up whether Ayu had mixed blood or not - I think the thread title was something like "Ayu's bloodline" and I brought up the possibility of her father being in the US military.

Her mother has only appeared on LoveLoveAishiteru. :)

I imagine that most Jpop stars leave their mothers out of the spotlight :)

Probably; once.. I mean how else was she born :p. But Ayu probably doesn't know her grandfathers anymore or else we would have known something.

Impossible to know. But nothing has been said about that ever.

When Ayu was on LLA in 1999 (ayu was 21-ish there), her mother was supposively around her 40ies, 50ies I think.

Ayu's mother owns a flower shop in japan.

This reminds me of the "Ayu is half american" theory and the quarrel around it.

Japanese people don't really like their relatives (family) being exposed in public..especially artists...
see? we never really know what's going on with any artists' parents or siblings..
but maybe some of them will expose..but the majority..is not all..

I don't think people have been arguing. Sharing ideas, discussing and speculating is everything that a forum is about, so I think we're all free to do so.

I don't think anyone like to see their relatives exposed in public, that's not something that only applies to the Japanese.

but japanese people really different from other countries' paparazzis (not like i'm saying they're bad..ehmm how to say..)..
i mean the paparazzi seems to really respect them..

those were taken by chinese paparazi..

so i think japanese people really respect each other..

unlike some american artists..the paparazzi seems to be much more eagerly in getting any kind of pics from the artists..
the artists were pissed but seem that the paparazzis never have enough and don't care..

We do know what her mom looks like, but not her dad :).

I'm happy when speculations, ideas and discussions never end, they should keep going, because we will only be able to discuss and speculate about it until the day that we all know. I hope that day won't ever come :D.

The picture where Ayu is "standing beside her mom" is actually a picture of her and an actor. That woman is not her mother, it has been concluded quite some time ago and at a lot of occassions.

ah..u misunderstood my question now..
i said if you guys have a picture that shows ayu and her mom is standing together, please show me..
i'm eagerly to see that picture..
if you guys don't have..so we don't really know how her mom look like..in a clearly way, of course...
