Yeah, I think it's more like an encore theme more than anything; stuff that has been performed ONLY once, but the reaction was totally excellent after.

Never before seen songs, here we come! :)

Probably lots of old songs this time and no new songs.

Ayu can never make a "BEST OF" though... Some singers like Kuu only have a few number 1's and they call these their BEST OF's since they got Number 1. But Ayu has all the number 1's in the world XD

thats what i was thinking too.because in her interview she said when she had to release the first A best she thought her music career was over because the people who made BESTs were towards the end of their career.hopfully this just means something else REALLY good:yes :D

I'm really hoping...that would mean no CDL for me, ever. She does this every year, I don't want to believe that she's giving it up or even that she's giving it up to focus on other things... Compared to AT's and releases, CDLs don't take much effort, right? Here's hoping that it'll be the best CDL so far, but also that there'll be much more to hope for in the future.

She'll probably perform the most "audience-pumping" songs...AKA the BEST of COUNTDOWN LIVE...(umm duh). We can probably expect evolution, SURREAL, UNITE!, AUDIENCE, M, SEASONS, vogue, far away and all the other songs she kind of sings all the time; oh yeah and humming 7/4 too. Who knows, it might be fun to see these older songs & old hits become front running performances again...however I am tired of the evolution-SURREAL-UNITE!-AUDIENCE combo...it's aggrivating.

Indeed, adding Best to the title will make more people interested in going, especially as people will suspect it might be her last, which I doubt.

Raising the price by 1000 yen because of a little different name, I'd say that all her CDLs are "Best of"s because of the mix of new and old songs in them.

Maybe she'll perform Kanriya...
She's never performed it live and I love that song. It's obviously an emotional song for ayu

I don't think it would be a great idea for Ayu to sing "kanariya". Her voice is extremely high in the song. Ayu can't really sing songs like "evolution" very well like she used to anymore because her voice changed, so singing "kanariya" could be quite scary.

Maybe she'd make a new version of it, like she has done for evolution and Boys & Girls, with much lower vocals.

Yay! I always thought of CDLs as concerts where songs which were never performed or hardly performed ARE performed. :D
After all, she did perform "a theme of a-nation '03" last year.

Yay! It's finally officially announced. I had already bought my plane and hotel tickets on the assumption that there would be a CDL this year. Dec. 7th is a really late ticket sale though - will make it harder for me to obtain tickets online and get them before I leave for Japan. hmmmm.

Also, "Best Of" YAY! :does a dance: I want to see a bunch of her old hits live because she hasn't done very many of those at the last two tours. :banana1

It feels weird for ayu to include the word "best of " for her countdown live.
I am hoping that she sings end roll and far away. Ayu hardly performs these two songs. It has been 5 years since she perform far away (I think).
