Did Countdown Live 05-06...DVD come with a booklet? Cause I bought mine..and there's no booklet!

~X2RADialbomber~ 3rd December 2006 08:48 AM

Yes it did o_O
Where did you purchase it from?

IYFreak 3rd December 2006 09:48 AM

Surreal 3rd December 2006 11:42 AM

!y$(&@!#@!? I got it from YESASIA! omg. Does anyone have photos of the booklet? Omg i'm so mad.

ayu1m 3rd December 2006 11:45 AM

When did you order it : O I ordered CDL 05-06 last week and it's shipped..

If it comes without the booklet I'm furious..

Oh and I ordered it also from YA

alternarist 3rd December 2006 12:21 PM

yes there is a booklet!! :D:D quick ask for a refund!! sorry i cant find any pic of the booklet.. :(

oro77 3rd December 2006 12:44 PM

It is a bit strange, I don't understand how YesAsia could forgot something like that, it should be some kind of package, nothing should be missing...

immel 3rd December 2006 01:15 PM

I heard the very same thing about this item recently in another thread ... and after a refund request YesAsia stated that they never promised the DVD to come with a booklet.

It's supposed to, tough.

Rebirthia 3rd December 2006 02:14 PM

oh, WTF! they never promised it came with a booklet? the items if they have same price, have to be the same! ><

ayu1m 3rd December 2006 02:16 PM

So, could this be the reason they're selling it so cheap.. If yes, that's bshit..

fraud

indyplus 3rd December 2006 02:37 PM

I was about to buy this, but now I came into second thoughts. :no
That could really be the reason, why they are selling it so cheap... It's even cheaper than CDL 2004-2005.

.................................................. ...................

No wonder it was selling cheap. And my Rose single by Anna Tsuchiya had a hole in the jewel case.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHH I NEED THE BOOKLET :( I feel like injuring someone at Yesasia. Anyone know where I can get scans of the booklet? Argh crap I'm angry.

FRAUD.

truehappiness 3rd December 2006 06:57 PM

I think that they might've gotten some 'defective' products, so they sold them for cheaper-than-usual.. :o

D:

ayu1m 3rd December 2006 07:05 PM

Well they could've inform us.. That's so wrong and it makes me so angry..

I'm going to crack the cover myself and send it back if there's no booklet..

Shiso 3rd December 2006 07:47 PM

^ how can they know if there is a booklet inside if the thing is factory-sealed?

I ordered my copy on YesAsia (overseas version) and it had the booklet.

Delirium-Zer0 3rd December 2006 08:20 PM

Dude that sucks :( :( I often feel GUILTY that I've never had a problem with yesasia before. I seem to be the only one... =\

Anyway, this site has scans of the booklet... it's kind of slow-loading but worth the wait.

Diana 3rd December 2006 10:09 PM

no booklet?? O.o;; I`m gonna kill someone!! My friend ordered it and I was thinking of stealing it from him..

Empry 3rd December 2006 10:21 PM

Last month I received my CDL05-06 (OS Version) and it was in perfect condition with the booklet inside.

Smart Computer 3rd December 2006 10:23 PM

Oh, I didn't order mine copy of Countdown Live 05-06 on YesAsia, I was actually bought mine at Chinatown in an Asian Music Store and had everything, booklet and everything, because I bought is the HK version so it come with two more booklet, one is the translation of the songs, and two is the translation of the talking in Chinese...! ^_^ In my opinion, called YesAsia and complain about it....:[

Surreal 4th December 2006 07:00 AM

I bought mine (HK VERSION) when they were having the year-end sale. And actually, the different record stores do the sealing themselves, so Yesasia WILL KNOW if there's a booklet or not.

I hope the price reduction was not made because of the absence of the booklet -__- because that's supremely stupid and wrong.

Omg I'm so mad. Gah. Thanks for the booklet scans link!

Isn't the booklet supposed to COME with the DVD? It's not even an 'add-on' like posters or trading cards.

Does YesAsia usually entertain 'change of product' requests? I don't need a refund, I just want a new copy with the booklet. :(

ayu1m 4th December 2006 02:08 PM

Hmm.. you ordered HK version, I ordered the Japan one.. I hope at least it has the booklet <_<

Surreal you could always break the case by yourself and complain that YA broke it.. D:

That's the best reason I've heard for wanting a booklet. :laugh

Surreal, make a huge deal out of it, and don't stop bugging them, see what they do...you should get a bunch of people to write in hate mail lol

immel 4th December 2006 04:47 PM

Yeah, if you never give up they will give up eventually, the customer is always right.

They are not interested in loosing customers, and a booklet isn't much hard work in order to keep one.

thinkingoutloud89 4th December 2006 05:23 PM

my is also from YA and has alsoa booklet^^

Do you have the HK or Japan edition?

sora2522 4th December 2006 05:47 PM

i have the overseas version...well, my aunt bought it for me and sent it to me <3
i could scan the booklet if anyone wants them, since the link provided was considered to be 'slow'

Dustie 4th December 2006 06:34 PM

I don't think any store does packaging by themself - the CDs/DVDs should be shipped in a box wrapped with plastic, sometimes there are stickers on the plastic, so that you would need to tear it apart to get to the actual case.

It's probable it's a damaged item or something, but then again, if they never opened it, they would never know if it actually is missing something and thus they wouldn't have reasons to sell it cheaper - unless Avex shipped them already labeled as damaged, making YesAsia automatically sell them for a price off.

immel 4th December 2006 06:36 PM

I wonder, because HMV had this insane discount on CDL0506 earlier, too...

I think HiruNoKaze bought one. Did it have the booklet?

Smart Computer 5th December 2006 01:07 AM

I just wanna make a comment on the plastic bag of every CD+DVD...In my opinion, I think the store re-package them after they received from the company. Because you know why, there a store in Chinatown where I lived, when I buy the albums and singles there, they doesn't come with any stickers and the bag is just one time use only...but in other Music Store in Union City, it come with stickers and the bag is really easy to take off and put it back on again. So yeah...

immel 5th December 2006 01:18 AM

I doubt they repack them, very highly.

It's not easy to get the stickers on Ayus packages off without it being noticeable, it'd be retarded of them to rip off the stickers and reapply them for every single DVD they get sent. It'd be noticeable on a big amount of them, and I've never heard a single complaint.

If you open the CD+DVD or DVD packages that are resealable it's very easy to see they have been opened because of the glue in the seal whitening when you re-seal it, due to air getting in there.

sora2522 5th December 2006 02:47 AM

i think this thread may answer your question:

http://www.ahsforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=52906

Surreal 5th December 2006 03:28 AM

Mine wasn't even low-priced or insanely discounted. It was just a discount of around USD3 bucks.

sora2522 5th December 2006 03:35 AM

oh...then that's odd....i think it may be just a mistake...you could prolly ask for a booklet, and if not, do what ayu1m suggests XD

Delirium-Zer0 5th December 2006 05:16 AM

Regardless of how much you paid, it wasn't advertised as any low-priced edition, nor was it noted anywhere on the page that it had no booklet included. You have every right to get a replacement. I wouldn't delay in contacting them about getting a new one WITH the booklet in it.

Like he mentioned that they replied, it was also not mentioned that it actually had a booklet.

I agree that he should get a replacement.

thinkingoutloud89 5th December 2006 02:25 PM

Michael Kwan <---------- at first i thought it said michelle kwan XD;;
anyways, i think that you should tell them that others who bought it from yesasia received a booklet with their edition of cdl 05-06 (cuz it's true...)

Chibi_Venus 6th December 2006 02:13 AM

And this as you can see, my friends, is why I never buy anything from YesAsia.

I'm really sorry about your booklet's absence, Surreal. That really sucks.

namiie 6th December 2006 05:18 AM

Crap. Mine didn't come with a booklet either... I bought a copy of CDL 05-06 from a friend, but the one she shipped got lost in the mail, so she had to send me her copy to replace it. It seems like she bought from a bootleg place D: Awww. I'll have to tell her to stop shopping where she does...

Surreal 6th December 2006 11:27 AM

Okay..I need a confirmation from you guys. Those who bought the HK version all received a booklet? (regardless of whether u bought it during the discount period)

Shiso 6th December 2006 11:38 AM

I bought the HongKong version the first day it appeared on YesAsia. And yes, it has a booklet.
