Ive only been on the forums for a little over a week now, but ive heard next to nothing about this great song! For me it was the song which got me addicted to Ayumi in the first place, and ever since I first started listening to Ayu all those years ago, that song still manages to stay in my "25 most played" playlist on my iPod!

Well, you havn't heard much about it because it's kind of old :P

When it came out, and around the time MY STORY came out too, there were alot of talking about it. Just keep in mind not all songs stay in our spotlight all the time, Ayu releases new songs, and those come to our attention.

And yes, it is an awseome song, I like the MY STORY Classical version of it! :D

"Moments" is pretty old now, and it gets lost in my playlists, but when that track comes on I go "OMMMGGG I LUV THIS SOOONNGGG". Thanks for bringing it back to my attention! The remix is good too :3.

hey! that's the FIRST Ayu song i loved! it's also the first song i gave to 3 of my friends before they start liking Ayu :P !

I used to just think it was okay, not that great. While it's still not incredible to me, it has grown on me over time, and I find it very haunting and mysterious, and I like that.

Moments is also the song which attracted my attention to ayu! When I heard it at the airplane to the USA back in around april 2004(it was on their playlist for japanese tracks), I was curious as to who it was, and afterwards, I bought A Best when I was in the US. I was actually disappointed that Moments wasn't there, but I learned to love the songs in there eventually.

up to now, Moments is still one of my most played songs in my iPod. still in the "25 most played"... wonderful song. but as people said, it's old already. for me, a classic ayu song.

Same here, this was the song that pulled me into ayu in the first place, and it's my fav fav fav no 1 ayu song ^^ I love everything about it, the original, the remixes, the PV, the lyrics, the lives... It's like my all-time favourite ayu song EVER!! :D

I love Moments, it's a beautiful song with a good PV and Remix. Maybe some of that is due to nostalgia since it was her newest single when I became a big fan and started hunting for all her albums/PVs/etc. instead of listening to just twenty or so songs.

this is the first song i looked up for the lyrics and it really wow-ed me..the lyrics are really gd and cool! the tune is amazing too

i heard this rumour that this wasnt a song AYu wanted to do (purely for Kose)..until fans requested it...really?

if it is, i wonder what will happen to MS without this great song

It's a shame the original version of Moments was never released; I think I would've liked that versions better. It has a certain elegance to it, with both her voice as the arrangements.

And yea; Moments wasn't supposed to be a single. The song was made as a special extra in Ayu's very last Kose-CM. But at Teamayu, people liked the song so much that it just needed to be released.

I have never loved Moments, but I've always liked it ^_^
but when I used to listen to it, I was really depressed and the song reminds me somewhat of this time. so... well.
but HANABI is a really great song imo, though. I don't know why Ayu didn't do a PV for this... maybe it's gonna be on A BEST black DVD? ^w^"

i hate that she doesn't like to sing MY STORY songs in her recent concerts(except humming 7/4 )(which ISN'T a song). moments is truly a great song and great performance as well in my story tour.

the first pv i ever saw was for moments.. it was like SO long ago like when it first cmae out. i was like O_O i didnt think ayu looked like that. The first song i ever heard was July 1st. which still stands as my favourite

I've been convinced for the past 8 months that Moments is her best song.

Moments isn't one of my favorite ayu songs, and in fact, when I first heard it, I hated it, but, I mean, it's one of her songs that you just have to respect because it's so great.

Moments isn't a song I listen to all that often but I put it on after reading this thread and was like, "Wow! This is great, why have I ignored it for so long!?" so thanks! :D

But. I would like to mention one of the things that makes me love it so are the lyrics. They just grab me. I can relate them to many, many things. And usually I don't care for her lyrics. Plus she sounds awesome singing it. It shows her off, heh. ... I mentioned it in my LJ entry. :0

It's not a song I'll ever specifically click on and listen to, but I'll listen to it if I'm listening to MY STORY. I like the lyrics too, I looked them up as I was listening to it.

yea.. the CM version has a totally different style. it's so elegant..

I like moments, but not too much. It`s not too slow and not to speed up if you know what I mean? And I listen to it often yeah..

to me, the CM wan doesnt even sound like Ayu...maybe its jsut me..her voice was so husky...neither did i felt the power in it..but the CM was beautiful...sadly its her last Kose ad

I love Moments. It truly is one of my favorite Ayu songs, even since it first came out. (And I don't think it's THAT old =\) The lyrics, the PV, the melody, the ARRANGEMENT...plus, it's probably my favorite Ayu song to sing! Next to End roll and evolution, anyway.

This is my all-time favorite song from Ayu. For me her songs never get "old" like you all are mentioning here. I don't view J-Pop artist's music the same as I do American artist's music. It's pretty weird, but J-Pop songs don't get old for me like American music does.

ANYWAY! Moments is the best song ever by Ayu for me. I love everything about it, it's amazing. My Story the album it is off of is also my favorite album.

YES!! This is probably my favorite Ayu song ever! It is very addicting as it is the song that I have played and gotten 3 other people I know to like Ayu in the first place! AMAZING! I never get sick of it!

i really liked Moments and listened to it a lot but then i just kind of overplayed it i guess. it wasn't monumental for me then.

the thinkg i like about moments is the great lyrics. it is so deep and emotional.
it is the first song, in my opinion, that she sings with a mature style.

moments is special to me, cause its the first Ayumi, Jpop song I'd every heard. :) but its pretty old, and doesn't get the spotlight anymore.

Its instrumental is really the only one I can listen to and have it actually be as great as the song itself.

I don't know why, but even though it isn't my favourite, this song really touches me ^^ It's a brilliant song, many are but; you just tend to forget.

The song is as close to perfection, in my humble opinion, as a song can get.

Although it wasnt my first Ayu song, This was the first song that ever made me cry.

MOMENTS is a really great brilliant song..
everythin bout it screams perfection^^ the music, the pv, the vocals in it, the arrangement and most importantly the lyrics..i cried when i listen to the song n look up for the lyrics..its just so beautiful..its just like those unspokable mysterious feelin u have when u love sumone so deep..
