The Official Within Temptation thread!

I've just heard Within Temptation's new single What Have You Done and whoa! its brilliant! so brilliant that I've decided Within Temptation deserve their own thread :D

The Heart of Everything is the fourth full-length studio album by the Dutch symphonic metal band Within Temptation, to be released in March, 2007. The track "What Have You Done" will be the first single for the album, and is due for release in January, 2007. In addition to lead singer Sharon den Adel, the track features guest singer Keith Caputo from hard rock American band Life of Agony.

TRACKLISTING (found on wikipedia)
Quote:

1. "The Howling"
2. "What Have You Done" (feat. Keith Caputo)
3. "Frozen"
4. "The Heart of Everything"
5. "All I Need"
6. "Our Solemn Hour"
7. "Hand of Sorrow"
8. "The Cross"
9. "Final Destination"
10. "Forgiven"
11. "The Truth Beneath the Rose"
12. "Stand My Ground" (Bonustrack from The Silent Force, intended for U.S. release)

so are there any Within Temptation fans around? if you're a fan of evanescence or any of those female-fronted bands, i'd suggest you give WT a listen! (and no, i'm not saying that WT is the same as evanescence, i'm saying they're in a similar genre of music ;) )

Aisha_Angel 15th January 2007 02:05 AM

I keep hearing about these people...almost enough to bring on insanity. LOL, I'm gonna try them out whenever I get the chance. Hopefully they are better than Evane. They're really starting to get on my nerves...The Open Door was a waste of my time. *sorry Evane fans but it was to me*

Echiko 15th January 2007 02:11 AM

I have heard their songs!! I love "See who I am" and "Memories" the most!!

I want to hear their new album!! *searches* 8D

emi♡ 15th January 2007 06:13 AM

I can't believe there's a thread about them, I don't know really who they are, but martin sent me a song by them the other day and it was great!

(of course, it wasn't as good as martin singing it :laugh)

spookshow 15th January 2007 07:48 AM

yay! other WT fans!

their new album isn't out yet! Wikipedia says it should be released in March this year (fingers crossed for a leak in February)
i don't even think the single has been officially released (it should be released later this month)... but i found a torrent that has the single edit and a "rock mix" -- basically the same song, but less orchestral... if you get what i mean

@ Aisha_Angel: i gotta agree, the open door was nowhere near as good as fallen... but it does have its good moments. if you're interested in giving WT a listen, i suggest Stand My Ground, Memories, Somewhere, and It's The Fear

EDIT: I just found another song from their new album -- The Howling. this song is being used as the theme for some game called The Howling... or so i believe. This is the official The Howling website. you have to register to be able to view the howling video -- it's a mix of sharon singing and images from the game. this song is great too, but i prefer what have you done
if you're looking for an mp3 of this *cough* - look for the rare audio section ;)

immel 15th January 2007 03:57 PM

Wow, finally a new album? I've been listening to them a bit on and off, really much for a short while. The song I sent you was "Say My Name", emi.

Need to check this album out.

We are pirates.

chocopockymaster 15th January 2007 05:54 PM

LOVE!!!!!

The first song I heard by WT was "The Swan Song", and I completely fell in love. They're awesome. It was so cool to hear "Stand My Ground" in the Blood & Chocolate trailer. :D

m-a-z-e 15th January 2007 07:14 PM

I fricking love Within Temptation. They're touring the UK soon, I might try and steal up some tickets. XD w00t. My favourite songs are "Jane Doe", "Stand My Ground", "Somewhere", "Caged", "Mother Earth", "Our Farewell" and "Destroyed" <3

http://youtube.com/watch?v=ve_d_MJiTzc

Listen to the new song on youtube. It's AMAZING. *Loves&

twestar 15th January 2007 07:21 PM

wow a Within Temptation thread i am a big fan of WT

i really liked their song Angels . the howling song is really cooooooool

can't wait for their new album

immel 15th January 2007 08:12 PM

m-a-z-e, thanks for the link, I really like the new sound. I was surprised by the male voice, though.

moombasista 16th January 2007 12:39 AM

I love the cover! o.o

that song you have there is the rock version -- there's also another that sounds more orchestral and has an intro bit where sharon sings alone

@ immel: i'm pretty impressed with Keith Caputo's vocals too -- i usually don't like rock/metal songs with both a guy and girl singing -- because the guy usually growls and ruins the song. but keith sounds great in the song!

Tasked 16th January 2007 02:14 PM

yeaah! A Dutch band!! they're pretty popular here and they've got awesome music. They do have a style somewhat similar to Evanescence, but Within' Temption has more non-rock (read: ballads). Also, the song "In perfect harmony" uses the same melody as Loreena McKennitt's song "The Lady of Shalott"

My favourite WT-track are: Stand my Ground, Ice Queen, In perfect harmony, Neverending story, Running up that hill.

JaysenRyan 19th January 2007 05:20 PM

IM GONNA CRY FINALLY A NEW CD. I saw ur set in another thread and looked on wiki, then checked out this thread. thanks for the heads up about the new cd. man SETS really do promote well lol.

spookshow 20th January 2007 08:58 AM

^ hehe glad to be of service ;)

in my search for new within temptation info, i found an orchestral version of Aquarius -- and it sounds great! anyone heard this version?

I've honestly never heard of them. But that pic in your sig looks really awesome. I've never played the howling, but I've wanted it ever since it came out. :laugh it came out a while ago. :laugh

Barbarellacult 27th January 2007 03:20 AM

I guess I need to try other WT songs. The only one I've heard is their cover of Running up That Hill and I wasn't impressed. I don't think her vocals were really "on" in that song. I'll be fair and try other songs of theirs. It's kind of hard to cover a Kate song and make it your own (without trying to reach the higher vocals she does). Does anyone have any suggestions of other songs I should try?

spookshow 27th January 2007 06:51 AM

^ you're right, WT's cover of RUTH isn't their best stuff (placebo do a much better cover imo)

i suggest you listen to stand my ground, memories, it's the fear -- those are some of my WT favourites, also their new single what have you done is great

xiaou-xijiang 28th January 2007 12:05 AM

well from sampling their music (i.e. all their albums besides Mother Earth or something) I like the songs on The Force (is that right, I'm just going off the top of my head...) better than their first album. And The Dance EP was just horrendous. I didn't like it at all. But I love memories, Aquarius and Angel. Her voice is really nice to listen to.

Jettles 28th January 2007 12:47 AM

*runs up that building*

There are few Within Temptation songs I like, don't listen to them that much anymore but I went through a bit of a phase.
Within Temptation IMO is kind of like a shittier version of Nightwish :P
But that doesn't mean they're bad either, just not as good...heh.

Calico 28th January 2007 02:49 AM

I've heard a couple of songs (the one I remember is Angels) from watching Sims 2 music videos. (Seriously, the Angels one was amazing) After that I watched some of their real videos. That was a while ago and have since forgotten about them. I'll have to check them out. XD

spookshow 29th January 2007 01:55 AM

finally! the video for what have you done has emerged!

i love the setting/scenery but i don't like the filming -- it's too fast for me to spot the details (aka i wanted a better look at sharon's gorgeous white dress! ;) )

(you can watch the video here [youtube link])

spookshow 31st January 2007 12:38 AM

one of the bands entering for Finland in this year's eurovision has entered with a song that sounds way too much like WT's Jillian, that everyone is calling for the chick to use another song.

Quote:

WITHIN TEMPTATION put in a 911 call - 29.01.2007
Call the Feds! The Finnish Eurovision entry for 2007 has stolen Within Temptation's 'Jilian'?

YLE (the Finnish Broadcasting Society) will decide today, with the help of several music professionals and composers, if "Tietäjä", KATRA's qualified entry for the Finnish final, is a copy of "Jillian (I'd Give My Heart)" by WITHIN TEMPTATION, released in 2004. The case was in the air already before Saturday's second semifinal in Finland but, over the weekend, videos circulating in YouTube and various heated fan discussions in message boards have forced YLE to investigate.

"The intro is very similar. The chorus has different notes but sounds alike as well,' says Tracy Lipp, one of the authors of LAURA's "Addicted to You" back in 2002.

The composer of the song, Risto Asikainen, is planning to change the song if necessary. "We could change some notes so it won't remind of 'Jillian' at all. I heard this 'Jillian' [song] for the first time yesterday and wrote down the notes for both songs. Based on those, it is not a copy. Both songs use the clichés of classical music. After Bach there hasn't been anything new in that field." He says he studied the NIGHTWISH songs well to avoid any speculation but he wasn't prepared for this WITHIN TEMPTATION song. Many people after hearing both songs compare them to CARL ORFF's classic work "Carmina Burana" from the 1930s.

"The two songs do sound similar at times," says YLE's Timo Suomi. "We have invited several field professionals to a meeting today and if they think it is plagiarism, 'Tietäjä' will be replaced by KATRA's other song, 'Vaaratar'. I don't think Asikainen should change the notes of the song, it would confuse the voters more than if the song were replaced altogether. Also the rules state the melody of the song itself cannot be changed, only the lyrics and arrangement."

www.roadrunnerrecords.com.au/news/
you can listen to the song here (YT). to me it sounds way too similar to just be 'coincidence', and the chick looks way too much like she's trying to become Tarja from Nightwish (until she was booted out). I think that she should be made to sing another song, because that song sounds way too much like Jillian to me

Thanks for the advice. :) I'll check those out. I prefer the Placebo version of Running Up that Hill as well.

haikara74 15th February 2007 03:00 AM

OK, I've been kind of intrigued by this band for a little while because of spookshow's set, but I just listened to some of their songs today and OMG so good. My friend showed me a really awesome LOTR music video with their song Pale in it and we both got obsessed with it because it's like...so perfect for LOTR~ I've been poking around YT and so far I liked Memories and Stand My Ground also.

spookshow 17th February 2007 08:40 AM

aaah the power of sigs and avatars... :D great to hear i've introduced someone to WT - because they're brilliant!

i'm still waiting for the album to leak! so far only the heart of everything, all i need, our solemn hour, the howling & WHYDN have leaked/surfaced. also the b-side Blue Eyes has leaked. And so far, this album sounds great! my favourites so far are Blue Eyes & Our Solemn Hour -- which reminds me a bit of Evanescence's 'Whisper' with the use of a choir singing latin phrases... man i'm so excited! can't wait for the rest of the album

and if anyone wants to know where i found these tracks: this is a good place to start your search ;)

Kashoku 18th February 2007 01:55 PM

I've been a long time WT fan and so far this album rocks. Our Solemn Hour brings tears to my eyes....Has anyone actually caught that it is Winston Churchill saying the thigns in the background and that it is a WWII song??

Anyways, I defiantly can't wait for the album. It is a shame that Finland's eurovision entry is doing this! I LOVE THE FINNISH PEOPLE! They need to enter Lordi again hahaa!

spookshow 19th February 2007 08:32 AM

^ kashoku, i've seen your sig before... but i can't remember where... do you post on other forums? (i lurk around at a few ;) )

hehe Lordi are so cool! we need more wierd and kooki bands like them!

Kashoku 19th February 2007 11:23 AM

I'm an avid poster at AYUNITE! I mainly lurk around here but I do post occasioanlly.....

A friend recently brought some cd's over to listen to, Within Temptation was one of them. I was surprised I liked it to be honest. Anyway, made him buy me The Silent Force for my birthday. Just only noticed this thread now :o

Calico 20th February 2007 06:27 AM

Just now listening to The Howling and Blue Eyes for the first time. Woah. The Howling is absolutely amazing.

sjflksdjflsdkjl New album plz to come out now, plz.

PLZ?! Fine, I'll add the vowels: "PLEASE?!"

Dang, didn't work. =\

TedusCloud 22nd February 2007 06:40 PM

Did you guys hear the previews to the songs? They're AWESOME! If you didn't i'll upload them. I'm so looking forward to:

Frozen
Hand of Sorrow
Final Destination
The Cross
The Truth Beneath the Rose
Forgiven...

Waa I mentioned them all

immel 22nd February 2007 06:42 PM

I heard neither of them, and I'm interested in doing so :).

TedusCloud 22nd February 2007 06:44 PM

Here they are:

1. http://www.jpc.de/jpcng/poprock/deta...me/rsk/hitlist <--- Just listen to them in the player or download them

2. http://www.sendspace.com/file/5i6hwp <--- These are better. WOW.

immel 22nd February 2007 06:46 PM

Are the two different? Downloading the sendspace one.

TedusCloud 22nd February 2007 06:50 PM

Yes. They're different. Also have you guys heard the first five tracks off the album?
The Howling
WHYD
Our Solemn Hour
The Heart of Everything
All I Need

I have them all if you guys need ;)

immel 22nd February 2007 06:53 PM

I don't think you're allowed to upload them here, considering the rules we have. I just listened through the previews from the sendspace one, damn, it sounds amazing. So much heavier than I'm used to hearing them, but it's also a style that I like a lot better in general. Makes me happy, and now I'm really looking forward to this.

I'm gonna keep an eye on various places for it's leak :).

TedusCloud 22nd February 2007 06:54 PM

I've been waiting for AGES!!! For the leak....

The RRR chairman sleeps with his advanced copies under his bunnie pillow at night :(

immel 22nd February 2007 06:56 PM

If I ever become a RRR chairman in the future I promise you I will act better.

Getting the promo version right now :).

TedusCloud 22nd February 2007 07:01 PM

The frozen on that thing isn't the one from the album. It's the Frozen by Voyage, for which Sharon recorded vocals. :(. From the previews i really want frozen.

immel 22nd February 2007 07:03 PM

Thanks for the info, when do you think it will leak?

Shouldn't it be very soon, or do you think we'll have to wait for it to reach the retailer stores before someone steals home a copy?

TedusCloud 22nd February 2007 07:06 PM

Well...It seems RRR are doing a REAAAALLLY good job in making sure it doesn't leak. I'm hoping it'll be leaked this week. Or the one after. Cos after that its basically release week.

I hope this does well sales-wise in the US too. I'm a big fan of Evanescence, WT and Nightwish and I hope the latter two can gain as much fame as Ev. They're all on equal standards.

immel 22nd February 2007 07:25 PM

I never enjoyed Evanescence very much, but I've been listening to WT quite a lot, but WT can't compare to how much I've been listening to Nightwish over the years. Well, with the sound of this album I guess there's going to be a lot more listening to WT, especially since we wont see Nw releasing anything in a good while.

TedusCloud 22nd February 2007 07:38 PM

NW I believe are going to release a single in May. Called Eva. I'll find the exact post:

Quote:

Released on May 30, 2007, “Eva” will be an internet-only single release, all profits of which shall be donated to a charity that will be announced later. In Finland, the single is available exclusively from NetAnttila.

“Eva” features the new Nightwish vocalist, chosen from about 2,000 applicants. The singer’s identity will be revealed simultaneously in a press statement and on the band’s website, www.nightwish.com, on Wednesday, May 30, 2007. A radio promo of the internet single will ship on the same day.

The sixth Nightwish album will be released on September 26, 2007, preceded by a second, regular single release in August.

immel 22nd February 2007 07:40 PM

Oh my, it was a long time ago since I checked their homepage, I didn't have a clue they finally found a new vocalist. It looked like they wouldn't be finding one any time soon.

I hope their new vocalist will be good, it wont be the same without Tarja, but I'll definitely give them a fair try.

TedusCloud 22nd February 2007 07:42 PM

It really pained me to read the open letter they gave to Tarja. I never knew Tarja could become so....I had met her once for pictures after a show which i paid a lot for >.< And she was nice...Never thought she'd end up that way after getting married

immel 22nd February 2007 07:45 PM

I wonder how much of it was actually true, considering Tarja was never given the chance of replying publicly, I think? They could just make it sound like whatever so that they could get away with kicking her. But no matter how much of it is true they obviously had troubles in the band, troubles enough to kick the front figure. It'll probably hurt their sales a lot, unless the new one is something awesome.

TedusCloud 22nd February 2007 07:49 PM

Ah well...I'm anticipating Eva a lot. Finally a new release!

immel 22nd February 2007 07:53 PM

Any new release from a band you enjoy is always great :). I just hope Sonata Arctica will be coming up with something new soon, since both WT and Nw is.

spookshow 23rd February 2007 08:36 AM

i'm pretty sure tarja did write a reply on her website -- i think i started reading it, but gave up out of sheer laziness ;)

a new NW song sounds great! i knew they were announcing who was to be the new lead at the end of may, but i hadn't heard about the new song. i'm so curious to see what sort of voice they pick -- will she be similar to tarja? (just like the new Theatre of Tragedy chick who sounds similar to Liv Kristine) or will they try a new direction?

back to WT, i've refrained from downloading the previews, but i have downloaded the leaked songs, and they are very good.

TedusCloud, have you heard Blue Eyes? it's a new song - a bonus track on the WHYD single

and yes, THOE needs to leak! and soon!

immel 23rd February 2007 09:49 AM

Sitting here listening to the promo version songs right now, sounds freakin' amazing :).

I really can not wait for the full album to be ripped.

TedusCloud 24th February 2007 01:38 PM

Yep I heard Blue Eyes. It's freakin' awesome...

New Previews of all the songs except frozen (waa):

http://z14.invisionfree.com/Femme_Me...&#entry3489149

They sound so much better. The Cross is now declared as the best WT song EVER! (Followed by The Truth beneath the rose)

Edit:- It leaaaaaked~!!! Yay!!! Frozen is LOVE...So is Hand of Sorrow...WOW....WT rocks!

spookshow 25th February 2007 11:23 AM

YEEEAHHHHH!!! it finally leaked! *hyperventilates*

i'm downloading now! *runs around screaming*

Kashoku 25th February 2007 02:41 PM

AWESOME! w00t! Now if only the new 69 Eyes album would leak >< It's supposed to come out quicker than the WT one but no leaks yet....Maybe I haven't looked hard enough...

TedusCloud 25th February 2007 04:47 PM

Here's my rating of the album:

The Howling 9/10
What Have You Done? (Album Version) 7/10
Frozen 9/10
Our Solemn Hour 10/10
The Heart of Everything 1000000/10
Hand of Sorrow 10/10
The Cross 100/10

All I need 1000/10
The Truth beneath the Rose 1534365354638468343587484354/10

Overall: 9.5/10

Kage_Yamino 25th February 2007 06:26 PM

Woohoo~! I finally found the leak. <3 <3 <3 I can't wait to hear this album.

Calico 25th February 2007 07:32 PM

UGH I wanna dl it, but my school has blocked all file-sharing ilk. (SoulSeek used to work...used to.) So I'll continue to just run around crazily on the internets or until I scrounge up enough money to buy the darn thing. =P

immel 25th February 2007 07:37 PM

Thanks for the report, grabbing it immediately.

Risa Katsura 25th February 2007 07:41 PM

I'm downloading the new album right now :D

I heard them on tv once here and after that I went to a concert from them, I loved it and I might go this time again :yes Can't wait to see WT live again

yay! another 69 eyes fan! i'm looking forward to their new album too!

as for WT, i must say this album is damn good! *sigh* my favourites (that weren't previously leaked) are The Cross and Hand of Sorrow. i'll give a full comment/review after i bask in this albums greatness a few more times :D

EDIT: is it just me, or is Hand of Sorrow based on the Robin Hobb Farseer Trilogy? the lyrics really fit the plot...
here's the lyrics: [Source: http://h1.ripway.com/onyrika/THOE/hos.htm]
Quote:

6. HAND OF SORROW

The child without a name grew up to be the hand
To watch you, to shield you, or kill on demand
The choice he made he could not comprehend
He’s got a grim secret they had to command

He’s torn between his honor and the true love of his life
He prayed for both but was denied

So many dreams are broken and so much we sacrifice
Was it worth the ones we loved and had to leave behind
So many years have past toward a noble land of lies
Will all our sins be justified?

The curse of his powers tormented his life
Obeying the crown was a sinister crime
His soul was tortured by love and by pain
He surely would flee but the oath made him stay

He’s torn between his honor and the true love of his life
He prayed for both but was denied

So many dreams are broken and so much we sacrifice
Was it worth the ones we loved and had to leave behind
So many years have past toward a noble land of lies
Will all our sins be justified?

Please forgive me for the sorrow
For leaving you in fear
For the dreams we had to silence
That’s all there’ll ever be
Still I’ll be the hand that saves you
Though you’ll not see that it is me

So many dreams are broken and so much we sacrifice
Was it worth the ones we loved and had to leave behind
So many years have past toward a noble land of lies
Will all our sins be justified?

i'm just curious because i know WT does get their songs/lyrics from stories/movies etc. in THOE, Final Destination is based on the movie, and The Truth Beneath the Rose is based on the DaVinci Code

TedusCloud 26th February 2007 02:34 PM

Hand of Sorrow is also about The DaVinci Code. She said so in a French interview on Rock Hard mag i believe. (Or was it rock one? XD)

^aaah ok. do you know what the other songs are about/based on?

Kashoku 28th February 2007 12:28 AM

All I know is that Our Solemn Hour is based off of Winston Churchill's speach during WWII....XD

But Hand of Sorrow is defiantly my favorite next to Our Solmen Hour.....I really don't like Frozen, All I Need, and THe Cross, though....

Hey Spookshow... just saw your set in another thread.. so I click the link^^

Love WT.. excellent voice and music. my fav song is Jillian.

So the new album out now? How it sounds? Where I can listen for the preview? *wanna download it*

Thanks in advance^^

there was an interview on TMF yesterday with the band (in dutch).. Sharon wasn't there 'cause she had other stuff to do.. basically they said they see themselves as a symphonic metal band, but with the new album they tried to do some un-predictable things. Like using uncommon instruments... Oh.. And most bandmembers do NOT like the Red-Hot-Chili-Peppers... :P

Vadise 14th March 2007 03:34 PM

Thx for the info :P

The R-Man 26th March 2007 08:16 AM

Neat, a WT thread, one of my friends just introduced me to them yesterday, and I must say, they definetly alot better than I expected.

Probably unsurprising to most of you, but the song i'm addicted to is "Jillian".

spookshow 27th March 2007 05:38 AM

yay! new wt fans! have you had a chance to listen to THOE yet? that album is gooooood -- very very good!

i don't think i have a favourite song on TSF -- when i think of my favourite song i come up with a list that is over half the album :D

currently my absolute favourite WT song has to be the cross -- i just love the way she pronounces the words in the chorus *sigh*

The R-Man 27th March 2007 09:45 PM

Lol, no I haven't heard the album, i'd be more than happy to though o.o

FINALLY got a hold of the new album. I had to wait until I was on Spring Break and could use SoulSeek.

This album is amazing. I am most definitely buying it when it comes out in the US. My favorite songs are The Howling, What Have You Done, Our Solemn Hour, and The Cross. It'll take a few more listens to decide whether or not I like this album or The Silent Force more. I'll probably still end up loving TSF more, but that's okay! It'll be a close call.

I've start to like them ^^
thx to Hand Of Sorrow the song is so good :luv2

I listen to Within Temptation more than anything else these days. I have become quite the huge fan of them since a friend recommended them to me. I absolutely love "The Howling" and was very disappointed by the music video that tied in with some video game or whatever. I expected a much better music video with lyrics like that.

The songs lyrics are amazing to visualize and paints a picture of an epic battle in my head. I get goosebumps at about 4:06 into the song. That part of the song really makes the song so wonderful imo. It is such an amazing song and should have had a movie quality battle scene as a music video. The rest of the new album is excellent as well. I was scared for it after hearing lots of fans who hated it. It is different, but still the same excellent quality you would expect from Within Temptation.

I posted my review of the WT concert I went to on my mog (mog.com/milkshake), which is a bit random and unstructured (cause I was just typing whatever came into my head lol) but feel free to read it.

^ nice review! i'm jealous -- i hope WT comes to australia!

Calico 17th April 2007 08:40 PM

I'm so sad, WT is hitting Washington twice and I can't go to either of them. :cry

It would've been even worse if they were in Portland...since it looks like they're hitting the NW AFTER I go home for break.

Frozen is the next single! has anyone seen the vid yet?

i like it! interesting/scary plot. sharon looks gorgeous as usual!
i so want that chick's lamp -- it's beautiful! reminiscent of ayu's Moments :D

spookshow 31st May 2007 01:10 PM

Finally, Howling has a decent video! This one is quite like i imagined, and Sharon looks gorgeous!

Calico 31st May 2007 06:06 PM

I just watched them finally since I have highspeed here. I LOVED Frozen. It wasn't my favorite song on the album, but I definitely love it now thanks to the vid. Sharon was GORGEOUS. I thought the plot was distracting at first, but towards the end I was pretty interested.

Howling was okay. I'm not quite sure what to make of it yet. I guess it just doesn't match up to what I imagined.

spookshow 1st June 2007 03:22 AM

^Frozen has definitely grown on me after watching the video too!

spookshow 26th October 2007 01:52 AM

All I Need is their latest single, and here's the vid:

i love this video! all i need wasn't my favourite song on the album, but its growing on me now that i've seen this video. i love these sort of videos, and sharon looks gorgeous!

Lol, when i first saw the video I fell in love with it. It's just so out there and...creepy.

Kashoku 30th October 2007 12:59 AM

I thought that they picked some of the worst songs on the album for the videos.

bondingo 30th October 2007 01:59 AM

I checked out this thread the other day to see if I liked any of their songs since I've never heard them before, and after watching the videos to Frozen and All I Need, I did think they were quite good. They weren't too much like Evanescence either, which I thought they might be. I really enjoyed the video to Frozen and thought the premise was very sad.

have to agree with you there... i really didn't expect them to release All I Need... but if they can produce amazing videos (like all i need), then it's all good with me!
