anticipation of A BEST 2 CM
 

hihi~~~ Do u guys remember the long A BEST COuntdown CM quite a number of years ago. In the CM, Ayu was in short blond hair, it was playing M, seasons as the BGM. Counting from day3, day2 to day1 where ayu broke out from the glass and then playing a hectic alot of songs~

Do ya think A BEST 2 CM will do the similar things this year~? I hope they do it, because it can allow people to anticipate and also possesses mystery ~~~

Yeah.. I know, but remember that ayu in that time was HUGEEEEEEEEEE.... IF ayu do such kind of that again.. It will be quite surprising... :D

Err.. and what is actually the intention to did that? While we know all the traclist... :)

She did the CountDown CM for Secret in Taiwan starting from [J-3], I won't be surprised AT ALL for A BEST 2 =)

I'm sure the CountDown CMs will be available in Japan, China, Hong-Kong and specially Taiwan =D

i hope they do the same...creates lots of hype and brings make memories
or they could do even better...i dunno

and hope they shipp out fast to Asia like how they did for Secret, whcih was around the same date...that plan was awesome...

The problem with creating alot of hype is if people start expecting more of what it really is. I dont think its a good idea to get people worked up so far that they get dissapointed come release time. I do think its a good idea though to boost sales, but everything has its consequences.

It will be cool if they do something like that but I hope they do something more original.

I think a cool CM would be like extremely simple, like maybe ayu listening to a song from the album on the radio at home, then maybe a different one walking down the street, that sort of thing

But how could people be disappointed before listening to the whole thing?
I mean, people can miss the normal short CMs easily on TV, or just heard a part of the CM, and I believe that's actually what happened to Secret so it sold ~650.000 copies

Ayu must use a strong promotion, specially for this A BEST, lot of TV-CMs CountDowns, Cover mags, huge number of TV-Show [Why not Utaban for exemple? XD Last time she performed was on 2001 for A BEST], more advertisements on streets, Shibuya, + all the promotion for the ASIA TOUR 2007 =3
Sure it'll cost a lot, but if it's a strong promotion, they can earn A LOT more =)
I also think -personnally- that it's Ayu's LAST chance to break the million again, so go! go!! PROMOTION!!! :33333

I think it's still far from Koda being focused on, it's just Ayu's an "old" artist so to speak.

Not many avex acts who hit their 10th anniversary in the business [Ayu is almost there] sell remotely as well as Ayu. :\

PS: I don't know y, I love and hate koda so much~ I love her style and her song, but not the way AVEX is paying so much extravagance on her

I actually thought that 'Secret' was well promoted. There were posters all over Shibuya (like (m)u) and although she performed only JEWEL on TV, it still gave her publicity...

Even though I'd love Ayu to do such amazing CMs again, I doubt it would happen. Avex aren't willing to put so much money into CMs anymore... so I think it would be just showing some PVs and then the covers and the release date.

That's a heckalotta PVs, mikey. LOL

I for one, think there will be CMs that are "unique" like the A BEST one.
It'll probably have some non-PV-like footage.

a best countdown cm's...oh i love them and i watch them every now and then!
it would be nice to have them for a best 2, but it would mean that a best 2 is too similar to a best...

Like... Ayu in every cover, flags in the streets, huge covers on Shibuya 109 and other places, CountDown CMs starting from D-3, HUGE number of TV-Shows [UTABAN, Pop Jam, Music Station x2, Hey!x3, Music Fighter, ect... and new ones], radio broadcastings, stands in the streets to sell the album, airing the old PVs again [Why not ?? XD Yeah, looks like a stupid idea =p]...

This is definitely her last chance to sell the million, so I hope she'll use all what Avex can do for promoting this BEST =33

i don't want her to advertise TOO much, because then people might get sick of it, haha. But then again, I do think this album will sell a lot. If she were to do commercials like her A BEST ones, that would be really awesome, but not needed. If there was one simple commercial, I think that would do. Seeing as she will also have one of the songs in a Panasonic commercial at the same time.

I think it would be better to have more than one commercial, as it allows you to put more out there at a higher frequency. Otherwise people will get sick of seeing one commercial out there. Im expecting an advertising campaign to start begining the first of february.

Yeah! A BEST cm was really cool, and I hope A BEST II cm will come up with something unique like that.

why everyone saying the A BEST cm started from "3 days ago"??? It actually started with the "5 days before" version... Wait... there's even an A logo version (the cm was released in the early Jan 2001 I think).

Back to the topic... I really hope they will do the same thing again for the cm.. I love that xx days before concept :D.

They rarely do all that much to promote outside of the norm. :\
