PRE-RELEASE INVASION !!!

They always had good advertising, but this time its simply amazing !! Shibuya is FULL of Ads and Campaigns. I went to TowerRecords (cause I also wanted to get the CD-Data and other stuff) and - similar to Tsutaya, HMV and so on -
they had screaming Campaigngirls in front of the shop, big screens with super loud videos of her and a big gadget collection (super-twinkle-logo-badges, posters, and more).

I went in and bought the white dvd version - my super-ayu-addicted phase is finally over, so Im able to buy only one version ;)))) - and got some kind of campaign-coupon
instead of a poster from the counterguy. Argh, so I had to go in front of the shop, to this super mad area where are the people came by.... this black and white card (that this chinese shop gave their customers) was part of a lottery system : on the card was the price written, but it was also possible to draw a blank.

However, I won - the campaigngirl screamed into her microphone and ringed a suuuuuuuuper huge loud bell (DAAANG DANG DANG !!! " YEEAAAYYY WE HAVE A WINNER !!!!!" - all the crowd suddenly stopped and watched) and asked me what poster-version I wanted to have (I picked the white one). I asked her if I can have the card too, but she said that they all have to be "destroyed" after usage.

So it was great, I had a lot of fun buying it :)

Yep the SHibuya 109 is one of the things that can be seen very often ^^
i hope there's the White CD+2DVD pic ^^

her name's not even on it.. I guess EVERYONE in Japan knows her and her logo, so it's not necessary. I'm really curious how much A BEST 2 is gonna sell. I hope both versions can hit #1 in the weekly charts (either they should be counted together or Black should top first, and white in the second week :p)

Rody! You are right, Ayu is so famous is Japan, everyone knows her and her logo. So it's not necessary to have "ayumi hamasaki" on the banners.

ayu's A BEST 2 BLACK covers on the shibuya looks pretty weird.
coz the building is the round shape..so kinda weird..haha :D

Yes, thats right. You should be able to buy it tomorrow (27th). The great thing is that you get the big poster too (for free) if you buy it pre-release (poster-version is random). I recommend you to go to TowerRec., Shibuya.

Yes, everyone knows Ayu in Japan. But Ayu's logo is not that famous, I showed my keychain from CDL to many friends, they did not know it was Ayu's logo...

They should have edited the picture for 109, so it doesn't look so cylindrically distorted :P
Hopefully Ayu will be back in May on 109, but probably not. Last time in November it was someone else I didn't know.

I love how Tokyo's downtown is just drowned in ads all over the buildings. One would think it's only the signs of consumption culture, but it makes the city feel so alive...

I am glad the ads, poster, CM are working well. My friends, people from the company all know about A BEST 2 since today.
