Jolin Tsai?

Haven't seen too much on the Asian music side of the forum about Jolin Tsai the Chinese singer. Anyone else like her? What are your views on her?
I think she's extremely talented with a good variety of songs.

Actially, Jolin Tsai is a Chinese singer in my country. I don't like her but don't hate her as well. She is the most famous singer in Taiwan, my friends love her sooooooo much!

Jolin is my one friend's favorite singer but I don't like her really, I just can't get into the sound of Chinese music like the language. I dunno. I guess just my taste o_o

She's a hard-working artist, with good stamina and dancing talent. I don't like all of her songs but they're pretty catchy.

fake? no, not really....in the past when she's till with Universal she do seem a little fake because of the way she carries herself, and even she admitted that. in the past, she was very unsure about a lot of things, so she was terrified to say the wrong things, therefore she was a little fake. but she had change since she joined Sony, and now Capital-she is starting to find the true her.

bad ballads, i disagree. she do have some very good ballads.

Her new style may not be appreciated and seem "fake" because she's being more bold about her fashion and music. To her this is a step up because now she's getting more attention.

I personally think her ballads are better than her fast songs..her soft voice reminds me of Sandy :)

Her move to Capitol personally was the best choice. She needed a change of direction and a new creative staff. Her new releases are simply refreshing and amazing. I'm glad Jolin is finally being herself and releasing fantastic music.

I like her a lot along with ayu and Kuu...^_^ She is such a Taiwanese capital barbie to me...expecially her style, music, and nail arts...
