CHAS_AYU 9th March 2007 03:14 PM

There will be 3 additional shows in Japan?

yatsuda 9th March 2007 03:18 PM

Yes!!! All in May, and all at Yokohama Arena (Tokyo vicinity).

(LOL, I'm no good at posting news!! Should've let someone else do it!!!)

Hatix 9th March 2007 03:20 PM

Damn, now I can only see 2 concerts on the 9th & 10th :P
I'm leaving on the 18th. But I guess 2 is already very nice :D
But it's good that they are adding new dates, so it must be at very popular demand!

freedreamer 9th March 2007 03:28 PM

Popular in Japan..she not responding to needs of the taiwan,HK and shang hai fans..LOL

i cant wait to noe the tracklist!

It is COOL that you can see 2 concerts!
I can only see 1 concert in Hong Kong.

I really hope there will be additional shows here.

yatsuda 9th March 2007 03:34 PM

I agree, I think it would've been nice for her to add dates to the Asia part of the tour...

Raleigh 9th March 2007 03:38 PM

Thanks for the news

Ya. Since the demand for the tickets is FAR greater than the supply.

From the news, you can know that ALL tickets sold out with a few hours.

yatsuda 9th March 2007 03:50 PM

Matsuura Max talked about the tickets being sold out in 2 hours at a certain venue, in his blog. It really is a shame she didn't put more dates. She'll leave her fans feeling angry!!

Dustie 9th March 2007 03:51 PM

Maybe she will once the tour kicks off. So there will be like 5 performances in Yokohama overall?...

yatsuda 9th March 2007 04:08 PM

I wonder if she would... It'll cost lots of money to move all the stuff she needs to make up her stage... costumes, decor, etc... and lots of manpower. But still, I encourage her to do so!!

Yep, 5 shows in Yokohama. The first 2 shows were on a weekday (Wednesday and Thursday), hence I couldn't go (Yokohama is my first choice, really). I'm sure she'll get the venue packed on the weekend!

Ya. It's costly to move all the stuff and set-up her stage. So I really don't understand why there is only 1 show in HK, Shanghai and Taiwan. They can earn more if there are more shows.

yatsuda 9th March 2007 04:22 PM

You're right, CHAS_AYU. She should've stayed longer to make it worthwhile!!!

~angel*ayumi~ 9th March 2007 04:24 PM

Good that I didnīt buy tickets for teh Osaka Show yet xD
This is much better^^

AyuGAME 9th March 2007 05:03 PM

haha...be satisfied guys with the concert you are going to see...
there is really big luck to see her concert...
where is the final concert take?

Dustie 9th March 2007 06:26 PM

This decision of adding more dates to overseas venues doesn't just invole AYU but also Avex top decision-makers. And moving stages and staff overseas maybe not as cost-effective as moving them in around Japan.Plus,
a Taiwanese news says that Tour in Tawan and HK won't earn enough money for cost except Shanghai. One tour in Taiwan doesn't earn enough for total cost, not to mention adding dates. Also, my Taiwanese friend told me that it's usually their strategy to not add more dates in the first year but to add more in the 2nd year. The record company just want to test the popularity of the singer who will sing overseas for the first time. If the sales turns out well they'll agree on adding more dates in the next year. Japanese are careful about money^^". I think to be fair,we should think more before commenting on subject like this. ~Most importantly, no mean to offend^^.

Sim' 9th March 2007 06:50 PM

Thanks a lot yatsuda =)

But the tickets sold out within a few hours, still have to test the popularity?

On the other hand, Ayu is not a new singer. She is very popular in Asia. We have her singles and albums in HK version since Boys and Girls. I don't think Avex have to test her popularity in these 3 areas. In fact, the demand for the tickets is FAR GREATER than the supply. Many fans would like Ayu to have additional shows.

And I don't think Ayu will have the Asia Tour again in a short period of time.
Being a fan outside Japan, it's hard to have such a great opportunity for Ayu to held her concert here.

Ayumiko 9th March 2007 08:31 PM

From the concert dates, there is no concert dates on the week of may 16th except for the newly added date may 19th on the saturday. Hopefully there will be something going on that week...hopefully a new single release or additional performances.

Beauty4123 9th March 2007 09:10 PM

cool, thanks.

Yes, but avex wants to play it safe. They don't want reports saying the concert was only 80% full or something.. they want 100% capacity. Plus, HK Coliseum is jam packed with concerts this year. I doubt that they would've been able to add an additional date anyway.

the angel song 9th March 2007 09:24 PM

Well, we all knew ever since they listed the few Asian venues that this wouldn't be a REAL Asia Tour with the majority of concerts overseas...so I'm not surprised Japan gets the added dates.

Choyan 9th March 2007 10:41 PM

D:!!! now if only they could add dates to end of June or the beginning of July!!! XD T^T

It is 5 out of necassity. Yoyogi in Tokyo (usually where her concerts are filmed) is closed this year for remodeling. So it's not a surprise at all that more Tokyo vicinity dates were added. I still find it odd that the tour is ending in Fukuoka though, so I wouldn't be surprised if 1 or 2 more Tokyo area dates show up for the very end of the tour.

truehappiness 10th March 2007 02:31 AM

Yeah..

Either that, or they're gonna try getting Ayu's mom to pop out at the Fukuoka concert~ "OMG SEKURETTO?"

yes, that's why i'm very sad that ayu miss a show here to singapore, afterall we do have a string base of j-pop, her cds sell very well here......

and i doubt she will come here soon. it might be years for me to have a chance to see her

AyuGAME 10th March 2007 02:53 AM

so the dvd will be take at fukuoka?i want to see different place for dvd though...

ayu_fan929 10th March 2007 03:21 AM

Maybe they'll change the "film at last show" idea for this tour?

truehappiness 10th March 2007 04:30 AM

Well, then she'll totally have to change her "_____ TOUR FINAL, YOUKOSO." Speech. D:

4ever*ayu 10th March 2007 06:05 AM

i hope avex will release 2 dvd, one is titled ayumi hamasaki Asia Tour A and the other is ayumi hamasaki Tour of Secret A, LOL!!!
the asia tour dvd will be taken from one of these 3 HK, Taiwan, or Shanghai
n' the tour of secret dvd probably will taken from fukuoka.(?)
just guessing and hoping so.LOL

Like I said, I wouldn't be suprised if they announce more dates at either Yokohama or Saitama for the very end of the tour. (That's what has happened the last couple of years for the final show) I wouldn't mind Fukuoka though. But personally I'm hoping for another Tokyo concert date in June so that I can go. :)

Ayu usually has her last concert in Tokyo, at least for the past few years.
So I was surprised to see the schedule that last concert in Fukuoka.
I think they will add 2 more shows after Fokuoka, and they will be in Tokyo.

alternarist 10th March 2007 09:51 AM

thanks for the info. but the number of performances is still less than that of any other ATs.. hm

Ya. The number of shows is less in this year.
I hope there will be another tour in the Summer or Autumn (STADIUM TOUR or ARENA TOUR).

FeNgZhEnG 12th March 2007 06:25 PM

this is going tired out ayu chan alot.. but for her fans its worthed it.. no wonder ayu is complaining of fatigue .. sad..

Ayumiko 12th March 2007 10:31 PM

I think ayu will add more concert dates later...didnt ayu say in the cnn interview that the tour will be from march to end of june?

I wonder if ayu will have a countdown live this year...since yoyogi will be closed...(unless they reopen before that) or something different instead... a A BEST 2 collection live like A Museum...that would be awesome!
