With no intention of slowing down, singer-songwriter YUI is already planning her next release. Titled LOVE & TRUTH, this’ll be YUI’s tenth single and will be used as the theme song to the Yukisada Isao directed film Closed Note. This’ll be yet another connection with Sawajiri Erika, with the first being Erika taking up the same role as YUI is the drama version of Taiyou no Uta. The single is slated for an Autumn release.

Prior to the movie’s release will be a DVD, Music Movie With YUI, which includes the making of the film, live footage and the music video for the song. YUI will also be narrating it.

YUI started off with the indies single It’s happy line but was quickly signed to Sony Music. YUI’s ninth single, My Generation/Understand, was released only a month ago.

bad singles? i don't think none of them were bad. i love all her songs. maybe "understand" wasn't a big ballad, but it still wasn't bad to me.

Bad singles because the generic songs. For her recent album, I just like "Goodbye days" and "Rolling star". All the other songs are bad for me. "My Generation / Understand" is the most bad 2007 single for me.

There's a one-minute preview floating around out there...it sounds really great! It's a sweeping ballad, unlike anything YUI's done before. I love it so far!
