I've found this article says that Kazuhito Kikuchi had compose a ballad for an artist, So that the fans are guess either Ayu or Every Little Thing...but ELT will release their new single on 31/10....also,rumours report that Ayu will release a ballad single in winter...

I don't think Ayu was involved, since he "wrote the song" almost a month before she recorded her new single in L.A. but the fact that the A BEST photo is there probably made people ask "Huh?"

The contents above come from Kazuhito Kikuchi's blog, its contents are meant as a follow up to a ballad he previously mentioned he would write for ayu. At the same time, tonight, websites report a possible winter ballad single release from Ayu.

To supplement a point: Kazuhito Kikuchi never mentioned the name of the artiste in his post, fans speculate whether it could be ELT or Ayu, but ELT's upcoming single has been scheduled for a 31st October release, as from Japan news sources, and at the same time, they have started circulating news of Ayu's winter single release, so I personally guess it is written for Ayu.

Mm, Kazuhito Kikuchi. I love SURREAL so I must love him. But I recall that he did some song that was not so good, what was it again? Oh... I gues I was thinking of As if... and WHATEVER. Still, he did HEAVEN and Far away (with DAI). So yeah, basically, OMG.

I think Ayu is rushing to release another album on 1/1 cause it might be a good day to release thing I suppose or at least one album a year.
3 singles is an ideal number to put to an album IMO so we might have another album this year. I hope her #1 singe chain won't break even when I don't care about sales ang charting anymore.

That release was because the previous album came out in September, plus she was on a heavy release schedule anyway. Almost one single a month.

i think thats the plan...but i think a Late Feb/Early March album seems more likely. then her tour will begin in April.( prays for an Asia tour again. SG)

Actually... I just realized that I want a sad ballad if it's a ballad that Ayumi will release after talkin' 2 myself. Happy ballads (JEWEL and um.. o_o other stuff) aren't nearly as good as sad/angry ones (A Song for XX, part of Me, M, POWDER SNOW, CAROLS etc etc etc). [Although I'm not sure if some of the songs are actually ballads. :O]

Happy ballads could be cool, like BoA's "LOVE LETTER" xD

To be true, I'd like a powerful and totally new song like Bold&Delicious was. I remember when it was released. I were so happy with that explosive and happy-ish song. Ayu, listen me, please!

nah, I don't think so. if it's a mini album, it'll stay a mini album. But I rather think it'll be a full album.

I doubt this is really true, it's still too early, and talkin' 2 myself was officially announced not while ago.I doubt she'll release an album that soon, I am hoping she'll release at least another 2 singles after talkin' 2 myself/decision, and release an album in June/July 2008, or later.

Well, we knew there was a theme song for SHINOBI which people thought was fairyland, but by the time we got the title+tracklist, the trailer for SHINOBI came out with HEAVEN in it.

Very unlikely.

To go over her previous release dates, she's had two in September, a bunch on January 1st [or December 27th?], November, and for RAINBOW -> MY STORY, December dates. It's likely she'll have a December album again..

December release works really well for her anyway, since her tour is just around the corner and she can theme it around the new album. Not to mention I'm just too used to my end-of-the-year get-it-for-Christmas Ayu album. :laugh

I would be really surprised if her next single (before the album) wasn't a ballad.

The fact that she tends to release albums in Dec/Jan does not mean she will this time. avex will release the album when it's ready to be released, which shouldn't be until March given the first single came out last month. I doubt they want a repeat of Secret.

ayu simply has to release a ballad this winter, if not, all is not right in the world. :D

I doubt they're gonna want to release at a time when the Oricon count of the sales would be lower than normal, which is technically why she releases in late November and December.

So that the full extent of the Oricon numbers are counted for the Oricon year. [She missed it by a small small margin in 2006 since they counted two weeks early. >>]

N was a perfect title and the fact that it was in all caps made it that much stronger. personally, i think rainy day should have been released as a single. but HEAVEN was just as good if not better as a ballad single.
