Stand by me is the brilliant green's 15th single, and their first after a hiatus of 5 years since the release of I'M SO SORRY BABY in 2002. The song was used as the drama Tantei Gakuen Q's ending theme song. |

buri guri's covers have always been more on the simple side...i think these aren't that bad...boring, yes but not bad.

Here you go, the preview of "LIKE YESTERDAY" on their limited-in-time myspace page: http://www.myspace.com/thebrilliantgreen I must say I'm quite impressed this time. Their previous "comeback" didn't bring-up really good songs. 'Stand by me' was really nice, nothing amazing though. 'Gloomy sunday' was better but not really original, 'ENEMY' was a rip-off of 'tsumetai hana' and 'Ash like snow' was a typical -quite bad-Tomme heavenly6 song. Of course that's what I think. I hope they will continue to create awesome tunes and a 5th pretty consistent album with its own atmosphere. I also hope it's a REAL comeback this time! Can't wait! |

Ok... it sounds super nice, it's really well produced, it's catchy and so on... But oh god... nothing fresh, another typical tbg song... It is getting a little boring seriously. LIKE YESTERDAY was okay being a typical song for a comeback. But I really don't feel the need to listen to it as I'm already tired of it on it's release. Blue Daisy is a nice song, but not all that memorable for me.

I'm not crazy about it, but it sounds as I expected.
I wasn't too impressed by LIKE YESTERDAY either. (the covers, yes) Spring Gate was pretty stand out though. |

That's just sad. Ryo's just left and we have to deal with those caucasian unknown people doing "funny" (...) things through 6 minutes and a half (it's like on of the worst Tommy heavenly6 PV). It's kind of disrespectful IMO, as if it's normal to "lose" a member. I hope those other people are just there for this PV. |
