HEARTSDALES....

I know the Heartsdales broke up in 2005 & were suppose to solo. I haven't heard any song froms anyone of them

But my point for the thread does anyone here still listen to them? Aside from me & maybe m-a-z-e.

stickyrice 9th December 2007 02:17 AM

Beauty4123 9th December 2007 02:19 AM

Wow really? I didn't know that! It's great to know she's still working, even if it isn't actually her rapping. :)

Marseille 9th December 2007 06:52 AM

wonder what happened to them. Why won't they do solo projects?

m-a-z-e 9th December 2007 12:30 PM

Haha. Akurei you remembered. =D

Yes, Heartsdales still live on in my household! I was so excited to listen to MAY J 'DoTHA DoTHA' since it was written by Jewels and I love Jewels <3

Miku 9th December 2007 01:47 PM

I love Heartsdales and I still listning to them :yes

Nanako 9th December 2007 05:32 PM

I have no idea when they're releasing solo stuff. I think the main reason they broke up was because Rum was getting married or something.

Over at Jpopmusic Forums sometime ago.

m-a-z-e 10th December 2007 03:57 PM

I guess Rum wanted to concentrate on getting her marriage through and Jewel's, well, if anyone paid attention to her blog she was just chilling out alot. haha. XD

Let's hope after the long break they release something soon! Or even reform. >=D

Aisha_Angel 11th December 2007 12:28 AM

^JEWELS was doing a helluva lot of chillin'. She seemed to be drunk (or getting ready to get drunk) on every entry. As for Rum, I dunno where she is. I wish they'd come back because they were SO good...even though some of their songs (all the ULTRA FOXY songs) sucked.

Beauty4123 11th December 2007 12:42 AM

yea, a LONG time ago i read on JPM that rum was getting married too. like back in 2006...

m-a-z-e 11th December 2007 05:46 PM

I loved ULTRA FOXY. haha. I think the only album that was bad was Sugar Shine as I like about..six of the songs? Where as the other three albums I enjoyed all of the songs.

ULTRA FOXY has lots of little gems! XD like, 'So Safari', 'MIC PLAY', 'Sweet Candy' and 'My Melody' not too mention the singles 'Angel Eyes' and 'Hey DJ' ^__^

drewbilation 27th December 2007 01:05 AM

Jewels is writing the lyrics for DRM's upcoming digital single, "Touchy Touchy," and Daisuke "D.I." Imai is doing the music. It'll be released January 7th.

KaoriNeko 27th December 2007 01:07 AM

That's gonna be hot! D.I. did a lot of stuff on Kuu's secret right?

drewbilation 27th December 2007 01:12 AM

^ He did "NO TRICKS" from her first best album, "Intro ~Get down~," "Hot Stuff," "SHAKE IT" and "Trust you" from "secret," among other things.

KaoriNeko 27th December 2007 01:16 AM

^Yeah, I just checked my secret booklet for him.
And he did NO TRICKS!? YES! This song better be good. I miss Heartsdales.=[

atashida 27th December 2007 01:48 AM

Jewels wrote the at least the rap in Kuu's "Ima Sugu Hoshii" too I think (sigh...I love that song).

I want them back like crazy! It seems like most of the good hip-hop died.

KaoriNeko 27th December 2007 08:35 PM

^SHE WROTE THAT RAP? I love that rap!! It's soo dirty!
And didn't she write another song recently? I can't remember what it was.

No best album is Super Star no way around that.

Kobayashiwoof 28th December 2007 11:22 AM

I love Super Star, I loved everyone of its singles, and like all of its album tracks, The LEgend was the best though... obviously :P

m-a-z-e 28th December 2007 10:40 PM

Super Star is the best album. No arguments! I'm just saying I didn't see anything wrong with Ultra Foxy. =P

Bad Wolf 1st January 2008 03:17 AM

I actually really like Heartdales--what I heard of them when they worked with Yoko Kanno on a Ghost in the Shell: SAC movie was really impressive, and Heartsdales alone just really piqued my interest. I'm sorry that they broke up >:O They were so much fun
