seriously, i've really tried to like KAT-TUN and I can't >.< I like NEWS alright but i'm not super into them... I think Arashi deserves their number 4 spot or even something higher... they've been around for so long... and they r still goin strong... becoming even more popular. that says something ^^ so i cannot wait for the new Arashi no Shukudaikun episode! ^^ i think it'll prolly b uploaded by tomorrow or the day after... I adore that show! itz ALWAYS funny lol |

I like NEWS a lot...but Arashi appeals to me a lot more...for music and such. I've been watching Shukudaikun every week now since I've been really into Arashi a lot more now then I have ever been ^^ The Christmas episode from last year (i think) was hilarious! lol Matsu looked realllly funny with that stocking thing on his head xD |
KAT-TUN ftw! for me too. but that's cuz they are my first JE group. XD but other than that, i seriously love all of them. though, SMAP, V6, NEWS (i think NEWS is getting better!) are probably more towards the bottom of the (very long) list. i love Johnny's Ent. way too much though. D:

Kaorineko, I'm kaze~ at the Jpop forums! Arashi's my first Johnny's group, and my first boy band, LOL! I do like songs from SMAP, V6 and TOKIO, though. And I *love* Ikuta Toma!! But I'm definitely NOT a fan of KAT-TUN... Did you all see the NTV Best artist Love So Sweet performance? I LOVED it, except for Jun's solo... ouch. What the heck was up with Nino whispering in Kame's ear during the interview (KAT-TUN performed just before Arashi)? |

KaoriNeko, I have heard KAT-TUN's album which was released last year. My friend played it in her car while we traveled 2 hours to a festival. Some songs aren't bad, but in general, I'm not fond of them. But I'm keeping an open mind. Who knows, maybe they'll release something and I'll be crazy about it!
Going back to Arashi, they're my first boy band period. Took me 32 years to like a boy band, LOL! Problem is, my husband makes fun of me because I like them. I don't think he realises just how much I'm a fan. But it's okay, I have a friend here in Kofu with whom I obsess, and of course you guys in this thread. |
@Karoi - yah you should give TOKIO a couple more listens...they are really good ^^
Toyoma's singing voice is really nice to listen to =) I've been liking V6 a lot too since I heard the song "Darling" from Kimi wa Petto...they are really good :) This week's Shukudai-kun was one of the funniest I have ever seen xD Especially the toaster game :D |
I watched this week's Shukudai-kun this morning with my daughters (4 and 2 years old). They couldn't stop laughing at the toaster game. It was hilarious!! I also loved it when they wiped the floor around the "track". Sho was just too slow!

I never watched AnS unsubbed. I can never keep up, which is so bad since I am half. x_x I just was never able to grasp the language. But now that I'm a fangirl, I'll try to watch it RAW and re-learn some stuff my mom used to teach me. lol.

Wouldn't the DVD of the HYD movie be released early next year?
Next winter seems a bit too long... Or maybe I'm wrong...I'm not really to familiar with how long it takes Japan to get movies from theater on DVD =) Yah Sho and Aiba seem like the two members that would be most approachable ^^ Jun is definitely the hardest to figure out xD |
Well, Kiiroi Namida came out this April and it didn't come to DVD until this October (?). So that's like seven months. -dies- I can't wait that long for the HYD movie!!

Same here, I only saw a few episodes here and there, but I regret not watching the whole thing. It delt with difficult issues. And the main actresses were really good!
