Vanessa Mae? Anyone who knows her?

So, I was wondering: Does anyone of you know the violinist Vanessa Mae?
(for the Sailor Moon fans: She played the violin part in the song "Outer Senshi Theme" or "Sailor Uranus/Neptune/Pluto Theme")...

I don't really like violin music but I really think she's great, here take a look at this:

EDIT: A note: Vanessa had a Chinese mom and her father is from Taiwan (I dunno for sure), but her parents split up and her dad went to the UK and Vanessa grew up there so she has a British identity ... (or something like that...)

I knew Vanessa Mae around the time when Sailor Moon was airing here, but back then, I had no idea the Outer Senshi theme that I loved had the violin part done by her! I don't really listen to her music, I only ocassionally saw some short clips from her videos, but I absolutely adore the theme!

I love her music :D There's clips of her on youtube :)

Of course , we know Vanessa mae . . she is a great violist .. .

I didn't know she did the Outer Senshi theme >.> I was pretty young when I got into Sailor Moon lol But I have seen some vids of her and yes, she is an excellent Violin player

Yeah I know her, haven't heard from her for a while now though...

but yeah I really liked her, like loved her when I was younger..

every time she was on tv...crazy youth

her father is not Taiwanese but a Thai. Born in singapore, currently resides in England.

My fave song is Red Hot, Classical Gas and Devil's Thrill.

She's a classical/pop artist nee? She released a single here in the UK - White Bird - I think I really love the song

I love Vanessa-Mae :love

I love that she's combining pop with classical.
She actually made me want to put more will and passion into playing violin.
I love to listen to White Bird, Yantra, Love is Only a Game, Destiny, Laughing Buddha, Pasha, Picante, Solace, Jamais, The Devil's Trill, Contradanza, Red Hot etc.

Oh, and she actually didn't do anything for Sailor Moon. It was a rumor back then that the Outer Senshi Theme song was played by Vanessa-Mae, but she was never credited and the officials didn't say anything about Vanessa-Mae being involved in Sailor Moon. Then it was revealed that Takanori Arisawa did the song.

I was in the library browsing through the Asian Interest CD section and saw a few of her CDs :)

Me also know her, and truly the best violist for me~

I found it a few months ago, and I was surprised to see an asian cd in my home!

The album is "The violin prayer", one of the firsts that she released.

i loved "i feel love" and "storm". the vocals on " i feel love" is so mesmerising. it's been quite a while since she released new music, right?
