GUILTY's finally available in S'pore
 

I'm a new member to this form . My name's Karen & I'm from Singapore .

I just turned 21 today & I've been a fan of Ayumi since 2006 ever since I heard BLUE BIRD & after that , the rest's history .

I got word from HMV that the local press of GUILTY has been made available in stores 2 days ago in which it comes with the photobook & a double sided poster & I'm definitely going to get my copy tomorrow when I stopped by HMV .

Here's looking forward to more material from Ayumi :)

can be in singapore have different type of product cause a couple day ago i check it on sembawang didn't get any photobook. but i haven't check it on HMV ;D

Sembawang I'm not sure but the HMV outlet that I called yesterday , it's the Heeren outlet .

that's what I was told on the phone yesterday from the HMV staff member in that it does come with the photobook & a double sided poster & HMV do import the japan press of certain albums & certain albums are local press in S'pore & are sold cheaper than the japan counterparts .

Only one way to find out later I guess :)

I haven't bought the S'pore press of GUILTY yet but I do know that Warner Music only prints the CD + DVD version of Japanese artiste's albums locally judging from the no. of local press Japanese albums that I have bought from Warner & Sony BMG .

regardless whether the local press of GUILTY comes with or without the photobook , I will still buy it .

i bought the Album alr two days ago at sembawang music. Im so sad that there is no photobook for this. So it was confirmed that the SG version do not have the photobook but only the two-sided poster instead?Cos when i ask the person she say there is no photobook for this.. awww.... anyway, I'll put up the poster picts later.. =)

I'm buying the album later at HMV Heeren so I have to see whether does it comes with the photobook or not . Regardless of which , I'm still gonna buy GUILTY .

are you sure it's the local version they mentioned? when I went to HMV Heeren on my last trip to singapore, I was looking for the local version of MY STORY, but can't find it anywhere.. same thing with the concert DVDs. Alll of them are japan version n it's shooo expensive.. so I guess they sell more japan version than local version

Yeah that's what I was told yesterday when I called HMV . If I'm correct , nowadays the record labels only produce a limited amount of local press Japanese albums which's why you probably couldn't find the local version of MY STORY anymore these days .

I know it's so expensive , HMV quoted me $40 for a Japanese import of Kobukuro's 5296 album :S

Ar.. why must they have so many versions.. so bad.. SG version warner one not so good leh.. that's what i think. how can they not include the photobook? I don't know why but I really mind about the photobook thing. I just want it! i got so many posters until sian liao.. two-sided one does not make me feel better la.

the local version (warnermusic distribution) do not have photobook together with the CD+DVD.

The difference is in the booklet, the booklet has extra/more pics from the photobook than the original booklet. This means that the photobook is combined with the booklet in a way...

there are also posters at some cd shops but i think are very limited

Not quite i think...the reason these shops don't stock up on these 'older' cds are because fewer people are willing to buy them now. They are out there to earn a profit so you cannot expect them to have a pile of unsold cds yeah? :yes btw, seem that the only was is to order online, hating warner this time...

Lol at the local music shops here, there are lots of old stuff but they are like so fake lol. Ugly colours, extra songs in CD, CD cover so fugly rofl...

ok I went to HMV Heeren eariler & bought my GUILTY album & yeah it didn't came with the photobook :( but at least I got a double sided poster .

Not sure why Warner Music S'pore's like that leh , maybe it's about time someone should call & ask them how come we're not getting the photobook .

Anyway to me regardless whether it comes or doesn't comes with the photobook , I still bought it :D

I also saw MY STORY at CD Rama at Jurong East MRT Interchange the other day . There're still stock on the racks .

and i saw MY STORY at CD Rama at Toa Payoh too. I BOUGHT IT IN JAPAN LAH. 50 MOOLAHS CAN?!?! cause i thought i couldnt find it in singapore. *whacks self*

I think the only way you can do that if you want to get the photobook's to preorder it from yesasia.com or HMV Japan .

Maybe you can approach HMV S'pore & ask them to help you since they import albums straight from Japan . Good luck with that :)

yeah they can do that I'm sure even though I have not tried that . I almost wanted to order abingdon boys school's self titled debut album from HMV ie. ask them to preorder the Japanese import for me cos I almost gave up waiting for abs's album to be sold in S'pore but thank goodness that didn't happened & the wait finally paid off lol

ya lor HMV doesn't carry the GUILTY album which comes with the photobook . A bit disappointed but it's ok , the photobook's not that important to me as compared to the real thing aka the CD

so it seems like there is really no photobook included here. But there is no difference in the lyrics booklet here. It doesn't have extra pictures as you mentioned. it's the same booklet as the Japan version one. -_-

hahaha, i'm oso a student when i order, see how you allocate your money. I was a little anxious this time, preordered the album before hand and got the photo album (plus the poster at singapore) Btw, try yesasia? they have a good deal there (poster + photoalbum) :D

yeah it's the same booklet as the Japanese version's . What happens's that Avex gives the license/rights for Warner Music S'pore to produce the CD + DVD version of GUILTY in S'pore with permission .

The same thing happens for the other countries in Asia . That's why the local press of GUILTY's reasonable to afford . If Avex did not give the license to Warner Music Asia , all of us have to preorder japanese import from HMV in which it's so expensive & it's not funny .

I was at HMV eariler & they were selling the Japanese import of Kobukuro's 5296 at almost $46 :S & from what I understand , HMV only imports the CD version of the Japanese CDs .

The japanese import of Koda Kumi's Black Cherry's $72 :S while the local press of it's only $22+ , somemore it comes with a DVD too so why not .

Local press is only CD+DVD is the one at HMV the CD+2DVD edition? If it is then the price is quite ok... :)

the $72 Black Cherry's just the CD only . It's not the CD + 2 DVDs edition unfortunately . HMV doesn't import the CD + DVD editions from Japan , they only import the CD only edition of any Japanese album .

orangedream , next time if you were to drop by HMV Heeren , you can check & compare the price difference between the local & Japanese import editions of the CDs . it's very easy to spot .

The Japanese import edition is definitely much much more expensive . Eg. otsuka ai's LOVE JAM album . The Japanese import's $72 without the DVD while the local press which comes with the DVD cost $30 . Now that's a BIG price difference .

I don't know cos I bought Secret from HMV & it comes with a poster yes but t's only 1 sided ie. the cover of the Secret album cover .

how much did you guys get yours for? i got mine at gramaphone at taka at 19.95 WHICH I THOUGHT WAS FRIGGING CHEAP. and i have the poster tooooo~~~~

Somemore you have to take into consideration the fright inwards cost aka import charges . I can really imagine if HMV were to import the CD + DVD version of the CDs , it might probably cost a big bomb .

If HMV quotes the Japanese CD only edition of Koda's Black Cherry $72 , just imagine the CD + DVD version should they decide to import it over here from Japan . Ick it might probably cost $100 bucks :S

Too bad HMV doesn't import Koda's limited CD + 2 DVDs editions over here as I never seen it being sold in shops here .

I paid $19.95 when I bought it from HMV Heeren just now in the afternoon & I thought the price was reasonable .

I paid $21.95 last year when I bought Secret . A bit funny leh . How come this time round GUILTY's $2 cheaper ? I thought normally Warner Music would charge like $20 bucks or so for a CD + DVD version for a disc .... weird .

Well i always avoid HMV when buying J version cd, cos they will increase the price soo much due to the import duties, etc. For singles, the different is not too big but it is too significant when it comes to album...

you think so ? eariler on I saw on the cd racks in that they're selling abingdon boys school's latest single BLADE CHORD but there's no way I'm willing to pay $23 for a 2 track single :S

somemore there's no PV included in the single meh

When the shipping is counted, it only a few dollar cheaper and you still need to wait when you order online. So see which one you prefer, fast but a few dollar more X, or slow but just a few dollar cheaper...btw if the DVD is included, the single could easily add up to 30+ buck with the shipping cost

for me I rather wait til the local record labels release the local press of their Japanese artistes's CDs as it's definitely much cheaper when you buy the local press release of their albums as I'm a 'poor' student .

If not , last resort's to download from the net & get the PVs from dailymotion.com or youtube.com lol

i brought mine @ compass point's Sembawang..at the price of around 21 bucks and it comes with the poster without the photobook.

anyway i've already saw the contents of the photobook so im not really keen on hunting down the photobook by preorder etc. =)

I from Msia, i got my ayumi CD usually from HK pressing CD, which the quality is good, not the localised pressing. Now when i bought my A BEST 2 (both black and white), which were a local product by warner music, and did not including the translated chinese lyrics!! But my friends from spore got it. So i think i wont buy the Msia version anymore. Now my guilty/fated is from spore as well. Just wonder Msia version of GUILTY got the photobooki not??

yeah i checked with hmv heeren & that they haven receive the j version of guilty...& asked that it will be priced around $70~$80! :O :O :O

the SG version dont have the photobook..& i wanted the PB badly..it only comes with poster..

Yah... I just went to HMV heeren today before it closes...
and the sales girl told me that they are not sure if they are able to get the first press of the jpn ver...
(and she answered "No." firmly even before I finish saying "Do you have the first press edition of Hamasaki... most probably she faced this qn for 1 million times today... haha)

Yah... I think we should really call up Warner and complain...

But... the photobook really makes a difference to me as I had been collecting photobooks from ayu albums (even till now there's only like the 2 from m(u) and the guilty one... I still rmb tt when m(u) came out and my sis was in Taiwan I asked her to get me both the CD only and CD+DVD edn of m(u)... so I don't really want to like... have a pause in the collection or what... it's really a pity...)

Oh... I didn't get the jpn ver for m(u) b'cuz there isn't Chinese translation of things written within the photobooks.

I tell you huh, warner music very lousy one. They will cut off ur call n not listen to u one. This happens many times for 5566 fans where they go complain to warner about the album stuff. That's what my fren told me. I called them to ask n they reject my call. sian. I dunno if I persist will it be of any use. -____-

That's one good question. The person just blamed it on Taiwan, which apparently is the source of our albums - though without the pb

not really a lot but their selection's pretty decent .

HMV Heeren's still up there when comes to their selection of J music available for sale in their shop imo

oh I understand where you're coming from . I also got 1 of the photbook from m(u) too which's off my day but honestly to me , I'm not concerned in collecting every single photobook ayumi has released .

har you think Warner's bad ? Sony BMG's worst because you called though the direct line & the worst thing's that if the staff member over the phone asked you to put on hold or if they transfer the phone call to another person , 99% it wouldn't be accomplished .

I think the only difference's the picture that's used for the CD and the CD + DVD versions . Other than that , the tracklisting , CD sleeve pics are the same I think .
