This thread is being created in hopes that all discussion of rumors or unconfirmed speculation about things related to Ayumi Hamasaki be posted here and organized in one place.

Again, this is a RUMORS thread. Feel free to discuss the subjects (such as the release date of Ayu's upcoming single) in a respectful manner. That's all we ask.

Nice idea, Appears...even though it shouldn't have resulted into this. :shrug Would it be okay if you made this a sticky. That way, it would get lost amoung the hundreds in this section?!

Anyway....

IMO, the whole Mirrorcle rumor is a fake. If it does turn out true, I'll be happy yet disappointed. (u_u)

It actually should've resulted in such a thread.

Having one thread instead of 10 to "discuss" rumors is much better, since they can all kinda be collected in one place.

The Mirrorcle Single is 99% not gonna happen, but the song will definitely come out, as Kazuyoshi Shimomura said it'll probably be on her next single.

^Well, yea but I just think people need to check their sources before trying to make the "rumor" seem true. Everyone is always trying to be the first to get the Ayu News. Most of them don't even check their sources. (>_>) If people would just wait and be patient instead of being the "first of everything" we would have to resort to stuff like this. *sigh*

Well, the sources did come out for the release date.

Like, livedoor had the April 2nd single release date for a day or two before removing it.

However, someone took that old information and stuck Mirrorcle World's name on it, thus making a rumor that was already somewhat false.

Hmm....I see. I see. :yes Well, whatever the case, I hope people will bring their info on ayu that aren't sure about, here. People on here have a habit of overlooking important threads like this.

I'm the one who suggested the thread in the first place [ask Love Appears], so that the rumors would be contained in a safe place that people wouldn't exactly "believe" at first, but if it does end up coming true, you can refer them to here.

You can only condemn rumors if people start to believe in them in large numbers, which happens quite a bit at AHS. Like with CARNIVAL or G or the CREA being the composer of decision and so on.

And I thought we had finished this discussion in the last thread.

More rumors for AT08 setlist XD more like predictions or something.

Man, I know it's not confirmed but I really hope she doesn't use MY ALL in her latest set. I'm sorry but it's like.. the weakest thing on GUILTY and I'll be a bit disappointed if she makes a habit of it. :( It's just not that good of a song to me. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh well.

I have to agree with this. MY ALL was a total dud for me. I'd rather see Who... performed again.

I think the novelty of MY ALL has to do with how precious everything is. XD

It's likely imo that BOTH will end up in the final setlist. Although she might untitled ~for her~ up the ending instead of Who... or switch it up for the Asia leg.

Hm. MY ALL is a pretty infectious beat though to start with.. dunno. My parents seem to like it and stuff pretty okay, and I don't think as many people hate it as they do love it..

Mirrorcle World has hit a new record for the most engrishy title.

I wouldn't call it engrish, because it's a play on words and not a bad attempt at english. You know, like "LOVEppears".

"Are you wake up" on the other hand....

I agree with True Happiness in saying least favorite was GUILTY (well actually fated...) but MY ALL was one of the best tracks on the ENTIRE ALBUM [my fav actually along with (don't) Leave me alone]

LOVEppears is a play on words as well.

LOVEppears -> LOVE appears -> Love appears... -> LOVE ~destiny~ + appears

See what's weird is that I LOVE HONEY, Greatful Days, BLUE BIRD, things like that... but Replace, Beautiful Day and MY ALL are such forgettable songs that I honestly didn't even know Replace existed until I did a recent play-through of MY STORY. BD is just a little too tacky and I'm not a fan of the English. idk what my deal is with HONEY, though. I find it infectious and adorable. XD

Out of curiosity, do people just pronounce "LOVEppears" as "Love Appears"? I do, simply because I know of no other way to say it. I guess "luh-vep-peers"? And I never heard Ayu say it outloud.

Anyway, personally I'd say "Mirrorcle World" is more of a play on words, while "LOVEppears" is more of a combination of the two words.

Because this is a rumors thread...I've seen a few pics of Ayu in the tabloids, but does anyone know how often she is in the tabloids? (Like, as much as Britney and Lindsay, or just every so often?)

I pronounce LOVEppears as Love Appears.. flows more easily than Love+ppears

The Judgement Day and Mirrorcle World seems like a very likely opening. Judgement day with the lasers and stuff, and then her appearing to Mirrorcle World.

Asia Tour 2008 Performance Discussion
 

Hey~

I hope I'm allowed to make this topic. ^-^ But the tour is coming up soon and I thought people might like to share their ideas on what the setlist will be.

I'm going to take a wild guess at the set list:

- main concert -
01. reBiRTH
The interlude from GUILTY. In here there will be a video and the orchestra present at the concert will be introduced (a small one with violins and cello's, like with CDL07-08).
02. Mirrorcle World
The soft tune from reBiRTH continues with the intro of Mirrorcle World. Then the drumroll starts and dancers come down on stage. Then Ayu appears on stage. This song will have a rockish feeling with a fast dance.
03. evolution
The soft ending of Mirrorcle World continues with evolution. Then there's the usual performance.
04. UNITE!
The usual.~
- intro video to the next song -
05. (don't) Leave me alone
Ayu with sexy female dancers in costumes similar to those of the PV. There will be a sexy dance and running across the stage, like "until that Day...". The lights will be blue-ish. Ayu has some army tints in her constume for the next performance.
06. talkin' 2 myself
With the male dancers. This is the usual performance from CDL 07-08.
- outro with a video of the war -
07. GUILTY
The usual "Ayu on a platform with a screen behind her and dancers" ballad. Only this time it's a little bit more rock-ish. Everyone has dark clothes.
08. untitled ~for her~
After GUILTY is over, the platform lowers and as usual she does the next ballad solo. In this case there is a second dancer, ewShuya, and she does a quick costume change after GUILTY before the lights go up again, by dropping off her GUILTY costume.
09. Marionette -prelude-
A video of puppets.
10. Marionette
Basically a live version of the Marionette PV, but with some twists. Everyone wears cool costumes, there's a pretty video on the screen and nice lights.

A ballad after SURREAL. She's sitting on the platform in the audience. The platform slowly turns and she's wearing a gorgeous dress.

I think it's likely to be an ending song 'cause she did the dance for it as well. Maybe not necessarily the last song, but I doubt she'd bother to teach a dance to the audience if there were no plans to have it in the encore.

Aya Kamiki is a GIZA artist who sang some theme songs for Detective Conan. She has a bit of a rocker image, and it seems that whoever is making it up is probably a fan of her, or think that they can get away with making up some dumb rumor :/
