ASIA TOUR, JP vers or OS vers?
 

Hey guys, I dunno if this is the right place to ask..
just move it if its not..

So, ive been thinking about pre ordering the Jp vers of Asia tour 2007 dvd on amazon.co.jp which will cost me RM 137, with express shipping (arouund 2 days)

or else I can get overseas version, surely will be cheaper price, but ill have to wait.

so what u guys recomends me to take?
and how much u think the OS version will cost? in RM?

okay what's RM? I know I wouldn't buy from amazon.co.jp if it cost 147. I'd rather pay the 50$ on YA than that price. There's nothing wrong with the OS version, especially since its cheaper, so if you can wait than I'd buy that. that way you'd have more money to spend on her mix cds or w/e. However if you can't wait and don't mind paying 30 extra dollars, then I would get the JPN ver.

Well, as fro what I heard from others, there's really no difference in terms of audio and video quality, and the only major difference is the price!

Price and the waiting time.

If you don't mind getting the footage a week or two later, I say wait. But for those of us who are DYING TO GET IT, Japan version is best with expensive shipping. XD

If you're broke & can wait , then I suggest to go for the local press . I'm like yourself , I'm terribly broke but I can wait for the local press to be out provided if there will be 1 .

I waited 3 months + for abingdon boys school's self titled debut album to be finally shipped to S'pore so that's already saying something . I downloaded the album a very long time ago but still I would like to get hold of the physical CD/copy . It's the least I can do .

If you're broke, I'd make the smarter decision and wait for the OS. It'll save you money, so you can buy more Ayu stuff in the future! ^^

^there's no translation in Chinese except on a extra booklet.

If your broke than wait. Honestly. compare the prices 50-60 bucks vs. 20-25 bucks. Its not worth it to spend all your money all at once, when you could the same quality for a lesser price. :shrug that's just my opinion mind you.

agree with xiaou-xijiang . Why pay so much for an original ver where you wait a couple of weeks , the local press will be released & you pay much much cheaper for it .

ie. provided if there's no demand in your country that the DVD will have a local press but I somehow think that will definitely gonna happen .

If I die die cannot wait & have lots of spare cash to buy the original Japanese edition , I don't mind but I'm terribly poor so I will wait .

i suggest to buy os version because its almost half price $_$ and its exactly the same thing + the Chinese booklet thing lol. down side is that you'll have to wait few more days. but in my opinion, ship it with ayumix 6s. more surprise to yourselves in one day. and from yesasia lol total under 80aud.. which is er... 235rmb :P cheap enough

P.S: only apply if you are broke or want to save money

I'm getting it for my 3rd exam period if I do good, and that is mid april so I can wait. :)

cause I might be ordering myself a vinyl since that one is a limited version and only selling in Japan right? and no OS version so 1800 JPY is quite worth it i think...

for ayumix6 i think i'll wait for the preview and the cover cause i'm not a fan of remixes, (except orchestra), and surely If i'm going to buy, i'll buy the OS version of them.

And there are 4 version of Mirrorcle world to think of again.. This year, I am really going to spend a lot on Ayu's stuff..especially if there is a stop in Sg for Asia Tour 2008.

the key is to be patient. it's not like you wont get it. just getting it later.. i am ordering the OS version cos its cheaper and also contains the translation sheet.

but, anyway the DVD is JPY1000++ cheaper rite?

yeah & if we're lucky reg local press of GUILTY , maybe a week which I seriously doubt .

at most the fastest will be about 2 weeks + onwards which was what happened to Yuna Ito's WISH .

i say a week, guilty for example came out 1st and by 4th Asian cd stores in Melbourne were selling it, and by 8ths hk version were already there. Singapore is probably even faster. but dvd might be slower

But Yuna's not by warner sg and her dvd has 4 pvs only... so i got a feeling it'll be so much longer for ASIA TOUR

Anyway I dun mind for the wait IF they do a good job with the overseas/sg version

Sibyl I don't think HMV will import the Japanese press of the DVD over to S'pore due to the whole region code thing going on .

DVDs that are manfactured in Japan are region code 2 while DVDs manfactured in S'pore are region code 3 .

HMV did import Japanese press editions of CD + DVDs before but because of complaints due to the region code issue they stopped doing that but you can always request them to import the tour dvd over provided if your house dvd player can play region code 2 discs .

& OS versions refers to any version that's not manfactured in Japan .

I so cant wait to get my hand on the DVD..

OS version for me will be the HK version.. its cheaper and has the translation sheet.. so its kinda value for money and also faster than singapore.

Before the warner sg, we only have os version, either hk or tw right? - I'm a little blur since I dun buy dvds until now

the thing's I don't know if HMV HK will release the HK press of the DVD . Most likely will but so far no news yet .

I think most likely will have . Warner SG will be stupid not to issue a local press but as to how many discs will there be in the DVD I don't know . I hope it's the full thing cos for Koda's Live Tour 2006 & 2005 DVDs , they only issue 1 instead of the usual 2 discs for their local presses :S

for HMV HK , HK presses of both Koda DVDs have 2 discs !

I read it in ayuchina sell section awhile ago. there will be hk and tw press of the AT07. not sure if it's released by HMV HK but. os version exist, will be released sometimes in the future.

apparently DVD HK press is 190 hkd/cny which is about 26usd with translation sheet YAY!!:luv2

also theres a VCD version of it, WITH CHINESE SUB:love:love:luv2 i doubt they sell it in hk hmv or yesasia but. it's 135cny/ under 20usd.

by right for Koda's Live Tour 2005 & Live Tour 2006 , there're supposed to be 2 discs inside both DVDs .

A fellow ahs member , LacusClyne , told me not to buy the SG press of the Live Tour 2006 because there's only 1 disc inside of the usual 2 . That's why I ordered the HK press last Sat as it comes with 2 discs & somemore with shipping it cost $28.98 sing

last week I called HMV Heeren they told me they only have Live Tour 2005 & that there's only 1 disc instead of 2 & it cost $50 :S . HK press of it that's selling in HMV HK has 2 discs & it's even cheaper when you include shipping .

I haven't ordered the Hk presses of secret & Live Tour 2005 DVDs yet .

So I guess I better wait until it's available in singapore then call/wait and see if there's any diff - then I decide on which hk or local version..

if you're referring to the Asian Secret Tour DVD , I'm sure most definitely that ther will be SG press as to whether will there be a disc or 2 discs , that depends on Warner SG .

If they say only 1 then it's better to order the HK press as soon as HMV HK updates their site reg this .

yeah....it will be so stupid to but the 1 disc tour...while the other have two...even if HK vers decided to go on with 1 disc, most probably i will go for japan version then..
coz based on the review from other AHS-er... it's really good and even better than AT06...

I don't know but Warner SG has done it for Koda's case . The last ayumi DVD that they printed out locally ie. her arena tour (miss)understood , it came with the full package aka 2 discs .

don't worry I also don't plan to download it . So leceh , I might as well wait for HK/SG presses to be out .

They don't have any word reg a HK press to the DVD but once there will be 1 , it will be updated on the site .

HK & SG presses - I don't know if this time round whether SG press will print out the full package ie. 2 discs instead of 1 because for Koda's case , both her Live Tour 2005 & Live Tour 2006 with regards to the SG presses , both Koda's DVDs only came with 1 disc instead of the standard 2 discs .

For Live Tour 2005 , it only came with 1 disc & it cost S$50.95 which's a rip off .

HK press of it comes with 2 discs & when you add shipping in the pic , it's even cheaper than the SG press :S .

I already saved that together with the hk press of her secret DVD in my account . I will buy them soon , not now .

Leo , standard shipping from HMV HK to M'sia is HK$39 which's about RM15.86 .

Use standard shipping because it takes about 4-5 days for your item to arrive .

I know cos I recently started to use HMV HK's services & I have bought 2 DVDs from them .

I use standard shipping & the items came quite fast so you don't need to use Premium Shipping . Somemore it's more expensive so no point to do that

& compare to HMV Japan & other sites , HMV HK seems to be the best lot for me as the prices are reasonably , be it the items and the shipping .

At least they do sell HK presses of CDs & DVDs unlike other sites I know so HMV HK's highly recommended from me !

I think your dad might have thrown it away cos when comes to parcels & etc , the postman will tend to leave a note provided if the item's too bulky to be delivered or if no one's at home at that time

Having said that if an SG press's gonna be released soon , then I will buy it . No point to buy something online where you can get an SG press already .

Ken Hirai's fakin' pop took a mere 2 days . The album was released in Japan on Wed & the SG press already hit the shelves 2 days later :O . Man Sony BMG must be doing something good as I bought my copy yesterday & it's 100% made in S'pore !

yup I checked HMV HK's site just now . It's 2 because of shipping . They will bill me HK$55 for shipping if there're 2 discs & they did when I did a fake checkout of the item .

So most probably SG press will have 2 discs then !
