Fielded remix of ..walking.. Yo album is put on the market.

Singer Ayumi Hamasaki (29) puts remix album "ayu?mi?x6" on the market on the 26th. The first work after it is confessed that hearing of left ear was lost in January. Important person DJ in every country in the world was appointed to the arrangement of the hit such as "BLUE BIRD". The collection tune of latest album "GUILTY" is delivered to 25 countries in the world on the 12th. The world advancement is supposed to have been put in view on the tenth debut anniversary.
The remix album puts two pieces (Gold and the silver board) on the market in the sixth work simultaneously in September of 03. It was with the turning point on the tenth debut anniversary this year, and requested it to popular DJ in well-known each country worldwide at allemande Van Helden of the United States that handled Rolling Stones, Britone Spiarz, and the remix and the party of Academy Award Steffen Pomponyacc of France that served as DJ.

The Gold version collects up-tempo music and the silver version collects the ballade tune. It ..house.. prepared and finished blowout preparing and "HEAVEN" "STEP you". Hamasaki's own hope also took, and six months were spent for one year and the production period of the plan.

For DJ who handled the remix, the Europe and America people such as Britain and Canada is a center. It is thought that having paved a gorgeous line from five works in the past put the Europe and America advancement in view. The collection tune of album "GUILTY" put on the market on the New Year's Day of this year is decided to be delivered to 25 countries in the world that become most Thailand in the history of a Japanese artist on the 12th. America and European countries are 19 countries.

It was enclosed by about the fan 80 of the locales in front of the hotel in the stay destination and it existed in the handshake attack when Paris was visited by taking a picture of the pop promo of the tenth debut anniversary single "Mirrorcle World" (sale on April 8) in the middle of February. Hamasaki's eminence seems to have spread at a dash by the Internet a local fan as "Popular No・1 artist in Japan" when it is ..music of Japan.. familiar though the visual rockers rock band is ..Europe and America.. popular. The performance offer comes one after another from Europe and America, too and attention gathers in Hamasaki's trend in the future last year though the first Asian tour in Taiwan and Shanghai, etc. is made to succeed.

Nice to see some publicity :D

Interesting that she'll part the the music into two different albums again, like A BEST 2

The whole Paris/international fans part doesn't really make any sense to me, I hope somebody will translate it.

Ha ha, it's like a bablefish translation. Input data, get out jumble words. :laugh

Anyway, "walking" in that sentence refers to Ayu, since "Ayumi" means "walker" or something like that.

Ayu Releases Global Remix Album

Singer Ayumi Hamasaki (29) will be releasing her remix album on the 26th. This is her first work since she announced in January that she had lost the hearing in her left ear. Well-known DJs from various countries around the world have been tapped for the creation of remixes for hit songs, including "BLUE BIRD". Starting on the 12th, songs included on the newest album, "GUILTY", will be distributed to 25 different countries. To welcome the 10th Anniversary since Hamasaki's debut, she seems to have begun considering a move into the world market.

Her first since September 2003, this remix album, her 6th, will go on sale as two simultaneous editions, -GOLD- and -SILVER-. This 10th Anniversary is a turning point, seeing Hamasaki working with remixers such as Armand van Helden, who has remixed such American artists as The Rolling Stones and Britney Spears; French DJ Stephen Pompognac, who was DJ for the Academy Awards party; and other popular DJs notable from many countries globally.

The -GOLD- version features uptempo tracks, while -SILVER- includes more ballad styles. While "STEP you" has more of a bang, "HEAVEN" was done in a House style. Taking Hamasaki's ideas and hopes for the project into consideration, after a year of planning, six months were spent on production.

European and North American DJs, especially British and Canadian, are featured prominently on the remixes. While the past 5 works paved a nice road approaching this release, it is possible that preparation for an approach into the European and American market was taken into account. On the 12th, "GUILTY", which was sold on New Year's Day of this year, will be distributed to 25 world countries, tying Hamasaki as one of the Japanese Artists with the largest worldwide distribution. 19 of the 25 countries will be Western Nations.

For the video shoot for her 10th Anniversary single, "Mirrorcle World", Hamasaki went to Paris, where she was surrounded by about 80 fans in front of her hotel, greeting them with handshakes. Although in the west it's usually the Visual Kei rock bands that are popular, local fans who became familiar with Japanese music via the Internet knew Hamasaki well, whose reputation as "Japan's No.1 Artist" had spread.

Although Hamasaki's first Asia Tour, through Taiwan and Shanghai among other places, the West has offered to host Hamasaki performances, and all eyes are now on her possible worldwide future activities.

Deneb 7th March 2008 12:29 PM

^nice translation, now read it, i can't wait to hear the actual albums

Kobayashiwoof 7th March 2008 12:29 PM

Wow thats great news :D, but i doubt she will get anythign in Aust, nothing happens here!

Halla 7th March 2008 12:30 PM

^ thanks for the proper translation.

a year of planning and six months of production for these two remix albums? that's quite a lot. I wonder what were Ayu's ideas and hopes for this remix projects; did she pick some of the DJs involved or give some guidelines for the remixes?

I think Ayu-Mi-X 6s would be a perfect way to test the waters over at west. maybe they should release them on Itunes or something and try some promo too over at the dance/house scenes. or even actually have a low-key physical release of them over in europe.

extepan 7th March 2008 03:12 PM

this is such a misinformed article. she already went GLOBAL in this context when she released ayu-mi-x II US+EU version, and more prominently ayu trance1 album.

AyuGAME 7th March 2008 03:14 PM

Angel_Hikaru 7th March 2008 05:43 PM

Great News!!!
I hope she achives success, cause is really hard to become global, not so many can do that, I mean Hikky try, and she even sing in english...I dont think Ayu plans to sing in another language besides japanese (wich I find really good and classy of her), but there are a lot of artist that have achived success in their mother language:

*Tarkan ...at leats in Mexico achive some success with Simarik.
*Ricky Martin.
*Shakira

So GO AYU!!

Love Appears 7th March 2008 05:51 PM

My heart leapt when I read the title.
I was thinking she'd be doing international promotions or touring.

This is still a start though. :) Glad her remixes are being spread about...

OMG, she'll be going to Europe!
Hope she consider to visiting South East Asian countries, SG maybe (i don't think she will ever come to Indonesia)

~Matt~ 7th March 2008 10:32 PM

from this "ゴールド版はアップテンポな楽曲を、シルバー版はバラード曲を収録。"

It don't find that part that there will be included ballad versions of the songs in the silver version ._. After that it says that there will be a house version of HEAVEN, and a Punk ver. for STEP you

apple-pi 7th March 2008 10:51 PM

*crosses fingers*
Hopefully this will work out!! Somehow I don't think she'd reach where I live, even if she went global, omg XD
But if she has a world tour with a concert somewhere near my country I'll sell a kidney and go see her~ whee ayu here I go~!!!

Bad Wolf 8th March 2008 02:33 AM

Wait... am I reading this correctly? She's going to release some of her albums? or just GUILTY? in Western countries?

PLEASE tell me I'm not dreaming this D:

And as for rumors of a tour--well, look: if Dir en grey can do it (and do it with much success, I might add) why can't Ayu? Srsly, I'd line up outside whatever venue she'll be at in NY for DAYS just to make sure I get to see her. It'll be well, WELL worth it.

Ayu isn't willing to sacrifice her quality of equipment to show to a small crowd. Meaning, she wants to have big impressive performances with great special effects.

O_o she shipped all her equipment from Japan for her Asia tour concerts when it would be MUCH cheaper to rent in-house. Can't imagine the operating costs of flying around the world like that.

But oooh if hse has any concert here......*books airline tickets*

abcabc 8th March 2008 02:16 PM

cant automatically assume however if she has a chance to come across the pacific, that she wouldn't consider doing something different with respect to bringing her own equipment over. flying to another part of asia is different than crossing an ocean, and the second thing is I think the potential of the market in China is much greater than an investment of a performance in for the States with every single one of her own nuts and bolts.

I'm not talking about small venues, nor was that even the point of my Ayu & Diru comparison. She doesn't have to do small places cos erm, NY--not even just NYC but the surrounding islands--have plenty of big(ger) venues she could come to. Jones Beach, Nassau Colliseum are the two that pop to mind automatically--Brookhaven Ampitheatre... or was that Farmingville? I can't realistically see her doing Madison Square Garden, but hey stranger things have happened.

Nope, I don't think so.

ayu-mi-x II is labeled (US+EU) or JPN according to the remixes each album feature,. i doubt the US+EU version was released in US or Europe, it only has contribution from american+european remixers, while JPN was entirely made with japanese remixers.
