its really simple...not really appealing for me

i love how laid back this album is. it's very plain and simple, in a very clean, chic and modern sort of way. it's very beautiful. and i don't think she's gained weight, she looks perfectly healthy.

Utada's photoshoots are more laid back , simple . At least it's not over the top & so drama

But uh...can't help but notice the handwriting from Hikki and I'm wondering if all the albums that will go on sale will have that...? I want Hikki handwriting! ><;

^I think it will be included with the album. I don't think the person who had the album, got an autograph from Hikki directly.

I really love the booklet. It looks so glossy and smooth. Hikki took some really good photos. We can't expect to be so over the top with her photo booklet. I just hope her next album, she sport the looking her and takes pictures in environment. Sorta something like Ayu did with GUILTY. :yes

He just laughed these pictures off the computer screen. Anyway, I think their very simple and nice.

ultra blue saw her in that outfit. that's not very 'laidback' if you ask me, and she was striking a lot of different poses. i don't have any of her other albums, so i can't really compare them, but the ones i have seen have a little bit of grandeur to them.

regardless, i think that the simplicity is very nice because it's done in a way that's not really boring.

All of her photo shoots have been pretty simple. Even though she's got the crazy outfit in ULTRA BLUE it's still pretty simplistic, just a white background. But HS probably has one of the most boring photo shoots she's ever done. That's why I made my own from the Weekly PIA scan for my iTunes :tipsy

Hikki does NOT look like a guy ><;

She doesn't look like one to me either...but I guess when you look at these pics from the corner of your eye, she kind of does. Especially if you aren't familiar with her.

It's weird though...when she takes regular pics that are posted on her blog, she looks feminine. But she looks more like a man when she has actual photoshoots. I noticed that, but I don't know if anyone else has.

Yea I think this photoshoot fits the album very well. The album is very laidback. So it only makes sense to have laidback photos.

I still haven't gotten my copy! Ugh!!! Is anyone else dealing with slowwww YesAsia? I even used the super-fast shipping, and it's been 3 days since the release and I still haven't gotten it.

nice booklet quit simple though

The booklet matches perfectly with the simple, laid-back vibe of the album. Even though I wish the cover didn't have text on it (just to follow the tradition of her previous four Japanese albums), the colors work nicely. I'm biased though - I completely adore HEART STATION. :)

I'm not too big on the haircut, which probably makes the pictures feel weird to me, but hopefully she will grow her hair back out and it will look better. But I think it's an amazing album none the less. :D

Thank you sharing. But I don't like Hikki like this, I prefer her long hair in Deep River era or Passion, she looks cute with long hair, this is too short.

The booklet matches well with the album's simple, laid-back vibe. I really like her short hair because 1) I have short hair and am therefore biased that way, and 2) it gives her a fresh, youthful look.

Also, I agree with the statement that she is NOT fat. We've all just been looking at Mika Nakashima too long. Plus, it's nice that she's all, "I eat and live the way I want and am chubbier than most female artists and I STILL outsell them!" :)

I agree with the others... That short hair just does not suit her! She needs to go back to her long "Deep River" hair she had...
