[2008] Beautiful World vs. Mirrorcle World
 

They both have 'world' in them, so which will it be?
Btw, I'm referring to Utada Hikaru's 'Beautiful World'.

I myself, cannot choose which I like more.

Oh and just to let you guys know, there is no 'both' option as you can see, because I feel that it's cheating...I'm challenging you to pick the one you PREFER....not the artist you like best. So please try not to be biased as much as you can. Oh and this is not referring to any Ayu/Utada rivalry, this is just for fun and to see people's prefrences. So yeah...vote away :D

Allthough mirrocle world has better arrangement, I think beautiful world is better. I love ayu, but BW is the best utada ever made.

Is it really fair to compare these songs? They're stylistically very different. One's quite heavy, and rock oriented, and the other is very light and ethereal, full of synthesized beats. Plus, it only fuels the non-existent rivalry between Hikki and Ayu.

I'm not going to vote, since I find them incomparable, but I wanted to raise that point.

While that is a good point, I'll have you know that this was created for fun. I never even had that rivalry in mind when I made this poll. I created it because they both contain the word 'world' in them, that's all. It's not a complex type of thing. And another thing, it's not a comparison -this is just a preference-based poll. You'll probably never read this, but that's alright. I just thought I'd let you know. :) No hard feelings.

Mirrorcle World - it gets catchier every time I listen to it, whereas Beautiful World sounds blander with repeats.

I'm not entirely comfortable in comparing the two for reasons GRACE stated, however, stylistically I prefer HIKKI.

Mirrorcle World is just all over the place and just so random in how it's all put together and arranged. It's like it can't decide what type of song it wants to be.

I do like the Dinging Bell though.

i choose BEautiful World... i don't know why...I like them both... but i like it better than Mirrorcle World. Perhaps i have so many Memories with this song unlike Mirrorcle World that's why i chose it =)

Beautiful world is not that exciting to listen to. It's nice, but not that much beyond that. I felt Mirrorcle World have a bigger emotional impact on me.

But I feel that beyond a tiny similarity in title, they really have nothing in common.

Omg it's such a hard decision... I love them both and listen to them both about the same amount per day lmao... Beautiful World? It's a lot softer on the ears and I can listen to it whenever... This was really hard, because I love both songs... But I have to say Beautiful World, because I really fell in love with it when I saw an live performance of it. It was just amazing and I got goosebumbles because of Hikki's performing and her voice. This hasn't ever happened with any of Mirrorcle World's live, so that's why I'm choosing Beautiful World.

BW, it is so easy to listen to that I never get tired of it, where as MW is slightly more hyped up and it makes it harder to listen to over and over again.
