1st Week

Haha yeah, it's actually quite good..as long as both continue to stay in top 10 for some time i'll be quite satisfied with it.

I think they sold about 10k each?

That's still pretty good since other artist remix albums don't even do that good.

i think the indicator is 7-8k for each

That's what the most people don't realise. It was just 1 Album. Now there are 2 of them. So I think for 2 Remix-Albums the first dailys are really high with #4 & #5.

My story classical did very good!!!
but 7-8k is a bit low isn't? Anyway, we add up together we have more than 10k!

Those positions are something I didn't expect. :0 I expected those two to be out of top10 like those remix albums released in 2003. o.O But yeah, good positions. I hope those sell even over 100,000 copies I'd be happy. :3

and like some of you said, this is a good position for remixes albums cause remixes are not popular anymore in Japan, so i think ONLY ayu-mi-x's that can pull this kind off sales/ranks!!

Both album even outsold other artists studio album that release on the same day!! Even a best album by LUNA SEA (i have no idea who is LUNA SEA, lol)...

They might be able to surpass Heart Station, you know ^o~ ...

i need to correct you . its not that they are not popular anymore . its just that her remix as not as popular as before because they are not as good as before . the sale is just a logical the consequence of this . there is no booklet . it seems like they package it in rush... personally i bought all her remix albums in the past but i completly hate the new one .

Remix albums aren't popular and they're not selling high, look at ayu-mi-x 5, SUPER EUROBEAT and Cyber TRANCE 3 which were released on 2003, they couldn't even get to the top 10 and ayu-mi-x 6 did.

Good news about the chart! I hope these do well enough that we don't have to wait five years for ayu-mi-x 7.

yeah thats true her past remix werent on the top 10 because avex is WAY TOO COMMERCIAL and sometimes released stuff in rush or in many different type . imagine between those dvd vers cd version limited edition ayumi cd and best of , dvds, merchandising online they are already ruinning the fan like crazy if you had all those remix albums thats a bit too much. ithink ayumix 6 asnt been release because ayumi suddenly decided to make remix after 5 years but only because they need to sell more and more . so its a commercial way to re-release stuff already relase and make buy fan stuff they already have just different orchestra...

I won't buy these cd's for now...I think I need to have a good reason. I'm really glad that they debuted at such decently high positions for their genre. I'm really excited for ayu! I can't wait to see Mirrorcle World's charting... (I'm DEFINITELY getting that single)

Unless they bomb quickly down the chart in 4 days, which is looking that way. If she keeps going down during the days, id say they might miss top 10 more likely. Which is a same, they are not that bad these albums. GOLD is the best :D STEP you is = :heart

been 3days and still in top 10, great result for remix albums

Well most of the first week sales are on the 1st 3 days, 3 days left for the first week total but it will be less than what the albums sold until now so that's what makes me think they will be sure on the top 10 already XD.

(I actually liked SILVER more because GOLD has a lot of annoying mixes =P).

I believe these two remix albums have done fantastically well. I hope this will shut up the nay-sayers that go around saying Ayu is old news...

You should just ignore them, they just don't like the fact that ayu is still successful after a long time :yes (of course not like she used to) but it will be funny to say she isn't anymore :yes

my gold and silver came from yesasia (today), do they or do they not count for the ranking?

not if you purchase from yesasia...but HMV and cdjapan counts towards the chart.
