^I bet it could reach that. There are so many versions of the single, and people seem to like it, her songs are promoting some things, and lots of stores, as usual, are hanging up big signs and doing huge promotion for this...

At this point it might sell around glitter/fated single sales which were around 165,000, if the sales will be steady though it can sell more. If they will drop fast a lot it will sell less.

well I dun think it would reach 200K unless the second day's index is over 20K as well, and first week sales over 110K at least or more. The point is the weekly no. 1 should be secured as long as someone else's not selling like 50K copies tomorrow..

well that's a really optimistic thought, but even BLUE BIRD could not pass 300K in the end (with 160K copies sold on the first week).

Of course, this is the 10th anniversary single, so who knows? :D

I think 21'000 is a bit low. I expected much more, as the song is one of her best in the last few yeas.

I was gonna say, "new cds have 6 days only" in the beginning.. then i forgot that MW was released a day earlier.. LOL

Providing tomorrow's index should be around the same (usually the first two day sales are pretty similar except those johnny cds), MW should sell over 60K in 2 days. That should bring 1st week sales around 90 - 100K.. Hopefully the single will be really a miracle to us :).

If it will sell 150,000 or over I think it will be really good since ayu does so well with a song that isn't really something everyone would like easily and she wanted to release it as a part of her, so if it will sell even 150,000 it will be good for a song such as Mirrorcle World which is not really mainstream and catcthy, nor ballad or a cute song.
And it was an interlude in GUILTY so everyone heard like almost 2 minutes from the song already in Mirror. So if it will do it I think it should be refered as a successful single.

HOnestly, everything taken into consideration, this is past my expectations. I love mirrorcle world, but talkin' to myself didn't do too well and its' a little similar in style in that it's rockish. 10th annivrsary doesen't really matter much. I think these sales are great and if she manages to surpass T2m it's really great for a semi-recutted single with only completely new song having no PV.

In addition, the song is rather choppily arranged and IMO one of the most different songs she's ever released along with stuff like FREE&EASY, BOld&Delicious, M (original at the time of release, now rehearsed many times though). It's great people love it!

ZARD's last single sold 50k in the first week. So taking that in consideration it shouldn't threat Ayu's #1 streak.

She hit no. 1? I'm surprised, I thought this single would perform so weak it would break her string of no. 1 singles... Congratulations then.

I almost forgot. Most people already bought the new tour and maybe both Remix-Albums. They already spent a lot of money for Ayu in the past weeks and this could be a reason if the single won't sell that good. I think, even the Hardcore-Ayu-Fans have to think about what they are really gonna buy.

Yes, CDJapan's sales contribute to Oricon, but that's only if you live in Japan. (Same with HMV. YesAsia doesn't contribute to sales.)

well..da whole store dat i went to in Shinjuku was LITERALLY filled wif first pressed GUILTY's on 6th january...this year of course...thats wen GUILTY was released

Yeah, a lot of first presses end up on eBay, too...sometimes months and years after it's original release. XD

Yeah, that's how the days are organized in Japan. Instead of Monday/Tuesday and so on.. they have the elements. :o

Well Mirrorcle World is 1 a-side glitter/fated was Double a-side and yet the first day sales were higher just in 2000 let alone a summer single , I think it's great for Mirrorcle World!
