Fave Artist Japan's absent from the list cos they already have their own MTV show in their country but I still wish that MAAs would have slot in a category just for the sake of it .

That Ayu picture was from 2002, the MTV Japan awards didn't exist back then. It was created in 2003 I believe. ;3

^Hmmm....that's strange. On wiki, they also listed Hikki getting a MTV award for CYKAS. Maybe she got an award from the MTV Asia awards then and not VMJA! DDDD:
