Inspired by the Britney Spears poll...i decided to set a poll abt Linkin Park too! XD

well...sure i do! some of my favorite songs are From The Inside, Faint, Runaway, Shadow Of The Day, What I've Done etc...what abt u guys? :D

Absolutely :yes They're one of my favourite bands.

Um...I never really listened to their music...I mean I always hear it here and there...

but you know, I saw them in concert at Summer Sanitarian in 2003, and...they were actually one of my favorite bands of the day...It was hilarious...they were playing right...and then all of a sudden they stop, and the lead singer is like "woah woah woah...wth..." and he walks up, and picks up a bra! and he's like "this is disgusting you guys..." and he throws it back :laugh

easily the best moment of the day...

To be entirely honest, I don't like them one bit. I just find their songs insanely irritating.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but Linkin Park is tied with Nickleback for worst band ever, IMO.

I really like them. At least as live performers anyway, I went to see them in January and they were pretty awesome. Minutes to Midnight sounds much better live, trust me.

Most of the people I know either love them as their little bit of rock on the site, or have disowned them once they move onto older more "classic" acts like Van Halen or Metallica.

Yes, they aren't the best, but one of the better ones from the recent years. my favorite is Numb

I completely agree. I saw them in February for the first time and I was amazed at how great the show was. The tracks from Minutes to Midnight really do sound a lot better live.

Hybrid Theory was excellent. One of the greatest albums of the 20th century. No one would or could say it was a bad album.
But it's only downhill from there and after meteora they've been releasing a lot low quality music. Plus they went mainstream. And that's never good.

I used to be absolutely obsessed with link park, but they aren't as good as they once were.

They're pretty much my fave American band! =) MtM took a long wihle to appreciate, though. I'd love to see them live one day.

They make really good albums! So, of course!

But I wouldn't say I'm a hardcore fan. Given a chance to go to see them live or meet them, I'd turn it down. Basically, their music is better than the band itself.

I used to be really crazy about them. I still listen to them occasionally now and then, feels really nostalgic. Haha. I own Hybrid Theory and Meteora. Finding a chance to buy MtM and give it a listen, but I'm gonna take my time on that. XD

yeah, not a fan anymore, but their music is amazing, i mean hybrid theory album and meteora. chester has an amazing voice, and their lyrics touched me when i was a teen. they saved my life

I was listening to Meteora (spelling?) the other day, and it reminded me how much I used to like this group.

I used to love LP!!!
I have all their CDs but when Minutes to Midnight came out I totally gave up
They were replaced by A7X, BFMV, Dir En Grey and Seether ehe:tipsy:gnash

When I was younger I used to listen to them but stopped when I got older. One day I picked up one of thier old albums again and thier sound wasn't for me. Then I heard Minutes To Midnight. They've centianly matured music wise which is good but I just haven't bothered to get back to listening to them.

I like to hear thier songs on occasionn though. They seem like a good live band.

Well, Chester is releasing a solo album, Dead by Sunrise, after which LP is planning to release their 4th album!

Personally, Hybrid Theory is my favourite album by them. It's got Papercut, A Place for My Head, Points of Authority, One Step Closer, Crawling, all which I really really love and still listen to!

And although I initially disliked Minutes to Midnight, it's really starting to grow on me after I bought their Road to Revolution DVD <3 They are so awesome live *__*

I'm beginning to accept their calmer music, like Leave Out All the Rest. But the harder ones like Bleed it Out and Given Up still attracts me more! I missed the chance of getting that album when I saw it in Singapore :no
