i have great family/friends cause they...
wow, my dad and i went on an ayu search yesterday in taipei, we walked till our feets are so sore and in the end i decided on buying 1 of these 3 albums, MY STORY, (miss)understood, Secret, all CD+DVD, and i was really thinking hard when my dad said that he'll just buy all 3 for me and that brought me to tears, i was so moved, and we were a little far away from the music store, but my dad still walked with me to buy it, he paid about $50 yesterday cause i brought A BEST-BLACK- poster too
so the question is, what maybe tear-moving things have your family/friends ever done for you that's related to ayu? edit: what things have your family/friends ever done for you that's related to ayu? |
OMG that's the hardest question ever because even if it was general:
what maybe tear-moving things have your family/friends ever done for you? A - nothing, and I'm not sure if it will ever happen...I mean, they've done a lot of nice things to me, but I guess I'm just not that emotioal to get all teary. what maybe tear-moving things have your family/friends ever done for you that's related to ayu? A - It will just never happen, first because it never happened in any situation, second, because being it related to ayu, even though I love her, nothing related to her would be enough to make me get teary :shrug However, i have to point that a great AHS friend once sent me one ayu album and a single, and I was definitely infinitely thankful for that. |
ImpactBreaker You double posted, I will tell the mods :laugh j/k
Well, my dad orders me ayu's new album every year (since MY STORY) for my birthdays, and it's fine since they are usually released around my birthday (December 11th is my bday). It doesn't make me teary but definitely my dad's a really kind and a nice person even if he's a bit cold and I'm really glad and jumping in my room XD. |
I don't get tear-moved. Xd
|
Nothing really?
I buy all my own CD's and merchandise. |
well my mum bought for me Secret last year for my 20th birthday present so yeah
|
when my parents are willing to buy me Ayu albums out of a sudden cos they know I wanted it. hahaz
^_^ |
well my mum was in hk by herself and she said that she spent a whole day carrying things and looking for my Ayu cd's, in the end she bought me a ballad, a best, and a few other singles! she said her feet got relli sore.
well i wasnt near tears but i was just thankful XD |
what things have your family/friends ever done for you that's related to ayu?
well...nothing.i wouldn't dare to ask for anything from them other than cash. XD my parents have given me nothing leisure/ non learning for the pass 10years. maybe they supply me cash to buy what i want? :D cash=tears :cry more cash= more tears lol :weep |
No one has done anything for me concerning ayu. I purchase all ayu merchandise myself...
|
old story but i shall repeat again.
My dad took leave to accompany me to HK for ayu's ASIA TOUR last yr. but i watched the concert alone. he is there just to make sure that i dont get lost and pay for the hotel bills etc. This year, my dad took the initiative to call up Taiwan regarding some enquiries of booking of tickets. He called and called to make sure that I have the highest chance of getting the tickets. He even came back from work during lunch break just to assist me in booking the tickets online. although i got none, he still spent a lot of time helping me.. :D |
wah lau your dad's damn cool man Zu Wei
wish mine was like yours :( |

I'll have to wait for my 5 singles as a graduation gift. |
mmmm...
I don't know if it's that tear-moving, but anyways, these are the related Ayu-things my friends/fam have done: -since it's impossible to find anything related to Ayu where I live, one of my best friends gave a special cup with Ayu's picture on it, and poster. - my mom named our cat Ayu, because she says all I listen to and talk about is ayumi, hehe |
My father always pays for my stuff, I could pay for it myself, but he insists that he pays for my stuff and I dont have a credit card so yeah, he doesnt mind me getting CD's on the net. I have spent about $3500 on import CD's on his card and he doesnt mind as long as I say thanks, don't go overboard and do well in school :D

My grandparents know i love ayu such that if they find articles about them in newspapers/magazines they cut it out for me. They're so awesome and i love them but my grandma passed away last year. My auntie let me use her credit card to buy stuff if i pay her back but everytime i pay her back she discounts it so that's pretty awesome. When she went HK + Japan 2 years ago she bought me Secret, Duty, A Best and memorial address + key rings and posters. When she went this year she bought me ayu trance 2 + random unofficial stuff. She's so awesome! Lets see...oh! My BFF's bought me an ayu single each for my b'day last year...one bought me startin' (CD+DVD) and the other bought me fairyland (CD+DVD). And then one of them went to Japan and bought me GUILTY (CD+DVD+no photobook) as a souvenir. OMG i love everybody :love ! |

He said that if ayu ever comes to singapore for concert, he will watch it with me LOL. he is beginning to like ayu!! perhaps because he can see how much effort ayu puts in in her concerts. My mum also likes ayu! |

During the last 3 years, Ayu has been "the stranger chinese girl I listen to" according to my parents, so i had to spend my own cash to have some of her releases... But they gave me Guilty a few months ago and i was like, omg, how do you even know her name??? So that was some kind of tear-jerking haha
|
Well, on August 4th(my birthday) my dad is going to get me an ayu and or namie cake :)
:weep i'll be so happy! |

My family and friends don't really care about Ayu. And my parents don't encourage me to buy her albums. XD |
^ Same here~
When I buy her music, they get mad for spending money and say "Download it!!" Then when I download they get mad again :grumpy My younger brother gave me some magazines with Ayu on it though ^^ |
*sigh* My mom didn't allow me to visit Hong Kong for Ayu's concert, she thinks that me and my brother shouldn't listen to Asian music because it makes us seem immature and she laughs and insults Asian singers in front of her friends! :weep
Apart from her, my brother and my cousins are great supporters! Once my cousin tried to sneak us into HK for Ayu's tour and he lets me borrow/ take his Asain CD's! :) |
One of my best friends just bought me (miss)understood, Duty, and A BEST for my birthday. She's so sweet to me. I was really surprised that she'd buy all that, even though I didn't really cry or anything. :D
|
Nothing really. They get me a Jpop calendar every year for christmas but that's about it. *shrug* My family thinks Im loopy for liking jpop sooo.
One year they got me a Kumi cake though. (totally irrelevant but eh. It was for my sixteenth bday) |
My dad bought me my first Ayu CD, which was also my first Japanese CD as part of a deal we made. I think that was really nice.
But, for birthdays/Christmas, my parents always either order me a CD I've been wanting, or give me money to order one myself. |
My grandmother orders me two or three CDs every month from random Japanese artists~
|
well, my god sister bought me (miss)understood album
and it developed my love towards ayu when i first owned this CD+DVD thanks |
