What Asian Artists Have You Seen Live?
I've only seen one, I saw Mari Iijima at Tekkoshocon VI, a local anime convention. I didn't get any pictures but she has a very beautiful voice and she plays piano very well.

I saw Rain (Bi) when he came to Sydney on his World Tour..
and I saw Koda Kumi at her special finale at Tokyo Dome.. =) definately want to see Koda Kumi again and Ayu as well! =) |

-Aikawa Nanase -Jolin Tsai -Cyndi Wang -5566 -Energy -Jimmy Lin -Vicky Zhao -Linda -J.J Lin -Stephanie Sun -Stella Huang -Tanya -F4(Jerry Yan only) -Taufik(singapore idol) -Sebastian(singapore idol) and i think a few more then i can't remember.....but i'm quite lucky though, most of the artists happen to be performing near me, or i meet them on the streets. |
Ayu, Dir en Grey, Yoko Ishida, Puffy AmiYumi...and I'm going to a-nation in Osaka in a couple weeks, so soon I'll be able to add Namie Amuro, Ai Otsuka, Koda Kumi to the list <3 <3 <3

I've yet to see any Asian artists live, but I'm going to see Utada in February! (YESS! Biggest dream evarrr come true!) and I plan on going to see Ayu on her next Arena Tour in 2010. Might catch TOHOSHINKI too if they happen to be touring then also? :)

And she's going to Illinois... that's really not that far away! I went down to see Bon Jovi a few years back, actually. Hmm.... O_O In any case, you guys are so lucky to be able to go! I don't like Hikki enough to convince my mom to take me, anyhow. But what an experience that would be. A J-Pop (though she does have roots in America) artist touring the U.S..... >o< |

Well, time to update myself in this thread, though I only got to see one artist live, FINALLY :P I went to see Jolin Tsai when she came here to San Jose. It was awesome :heart Got one autographed DVD plus a tour book.

I have seen Ayu and Mika Nakashima live :) And I have ran into one of the Soulhead sisters in Ginza haha. I'm planning to go to some concerts next year when I go back to Japan ^^
